Mixed information. Staff told me me the pool closed at 11pm. The elevator also advertised 11pm pool closing. The gym staff not only told us 10pm, but refused to check with the downstairs management. Instead insisted we were incorrect and wanted to point out to us the pool did close at 10 - even walked us over to the sign saying so, rather than find out why the information from management was different from what he knew. This mix up and lack of staff training in the gym turned a simple lack of communication into a pain point for our stay - we had timed our return to the hotel for an hour in this pool. Please be advised there are good staff at this hotel - yet the staff in the gym lack sufficient customer service training.

I spent two nights in the new year in this hotel. I absolutely loved my stay and it was an unforgettable experience to me. Beautiful in the evening when sitting in the stylish executive lounge. Little touches to make me feel special. The whole area is very tranquil, clean and private. I wish I could stay longer...

Its location is north of Shanghai South Railway Station so you'll need to catch a taxi from the north end of the station. I didnt try walking from there to the station but I suppose it is possible. Overpriced food inside the hotel. Go outside and turn left for more economical food options. Only two bottles of drinking water so we bought water from Carrefour near by.

During the check in the receptionist was very unpolite. she got nervous and she has over reacted to simple questions. The WIFI was very poor. It was very difficult to receive and send emails
