Had Melissa been honest and we still chose to stay here then this place would have gotten a 4-5star. But it was a nightmare from the start! For our vacation with multiple young children, including a 14month old, we really needed something not only close to water but with easy access. I had voiced my concerns after reserving the stay with Melissa. A prior review had said that it wasn’t easy to get to the lake. Melissa assured me it was. Upon getting to the property we discovered that the lake was over 500 yards away from the property down a very steep and rocky incline. HIGHLY INAPPROPRIATE for a family with small children! When I voiced my annoyance with Melissa, she stated that she had just been their and skipped ricks with her daughter. “They had a blast!” We didn’t pay 2wks worth of $ skip rocks. The fridge wasn’t cooling out food properly and we were told it’s because we may have “loaded it down” with our groceries and needed to allow it to catch up. What followed is our fault, it ended up finally getting cold and we risked eating our hundred of dollars worth of food rather than throwing it way after we were refused a discount on our stay. Unfortunately we would regret that, 6/8 of us would end up getting food poisoning. Melissa response is that our food takes awhile to get cold after being out in the Texas heat from the grocery store. I repeatedly informed her that I am a 30+ year Texan and have never had this issue! There is a nice park that is a few min drive to an area that you can swim. However, you can only bring in truck at a time. Which again is highly inappropriate for a large family of little kids that need car seats and boosters! As well as all the belongings for a day at the lake. We also had to buy a canopy for shade at the lake when we originally thought we would be close enough from the townhouse that this wouldn’t be an issue. We only had two options make multiple trips to the town house or have grownups in the bed of the truck. As an icu nurse I refuse to do put my family at risk because Melissa chose greed over her guests. Her response was to tell us there was a near buy pool. If we wanted to hang out by a pool we would have stayed home. There were some pros. Cute and clean town house, fast though condescending responses, lots of deers to watch and even hand feed, fun bingo night at the caddy shake, and let’s not forget a hands down the best place to skip rocks!…. Overall we all loved it ! In the mornings we would see the deer and it is an amazing nature view ! This time of season it was a little chilly but we all love it! We had so much Fun !! Hopefully we will book again soon !

Our group had a wonderful time. We were able to relax and enjoy the view. The house is just as described. Melissa was responsive to questions. We look forward to returning in the near future.

The updates to the home along with the size and layout made it a wonderful place to stay, not to mention the views! The owner was very quick to respond to my inquiries. Make sure to bring either body soap or body wash when you come (that wasn't included). Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the indoor and outdoor space and would come back again!

We had no neighbors during our weekday stay and it was quiet. We had access to all the amenities but were unable to rent kayaks because none were available to rent within the community and kayak deliveries from outside businesses were prohibited by the Property Owners Association. The lake is accessible from a community park and community marina (both ~1 mile away). You can’t really walk down from the back of the house and get into the water.

The location is great with a short drive to swimming beach, restaurants and grocery store. The house had everything we needed. Host was very responsive. This is a great place to stay on Lake Travis.

The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and plenty of plates/silverware and cups etc. There was a balcony upstairs and a patio downstairs that were very enjoyable. We spent our time at the pool within the community and down at the marina. The owner replied very quickly and was super accommodating. I definitely recommend this property!

Modern and amazing view of the lake. The deer came to visit us every morning and afternoon. The pool was nice and the tennis courts are right across the condo. We visited the gnarly gar in the neighborhood and the kids absolutely enjoyed feeding the catfish. We had a great vacation. Thank you!

The property itself was already perfect - everything was clean, exactly as described, was quite lovely, and the whole check-in/out process was cake. Then my little girl got sick and we needed a doctor. Google wasn’t much help since “doctors near me” was giving us nearby recommendations based on how the crow flies. Normally that would be fine, but the giant lake in the way makes it difficult to know exactly how far away stuff is. Melissa had been keeping open contact with us, which made it easy to reach out to her for help. She gave me recommendations based on what she knew, and even called other folks to get recommendations from them. After 10 minutes or so, we were on the way to a highly-rated doctor and the kiddo got the care she needed. 10/10, 5-stars, etc - we will definitely return.

We had a fun time staying at the Lake house and enjoyed the lake activities as well as the community pool. Seeing the deer every day was an added bonus.

This was the most AMAZING trip to the lake that we've had in a while. We had a party of 7 and all of us gave a thumbs UP. The scenery is nothing less than breath taking. The house is comfy, very up to date, with just enough room. And Melissa!!!!!!!! I can't say enough good things about her. Hands down excellent and very friendly communication. Thanks again. Love the fact that you can just walk to the lake through the back yard and go fishing. Also, every morning and afternoon, about 20 deer came to say hi on the back yard. Very quiet and private place. Very worm and Inviting.

We had a great time staying here. The house is nice and clean. Beautiful view and we loved sitting out on the patio in the evenings. We rented a boat from Liquid Thrillz and picked it up at the Gnarly Gar which is right down the road. It was very convenient. My only suggestion is to supply beach towels. We brought some towels but I was expecting the house to have some more we could take out on the lake.

This is a great property for our family with two active preschoolers. The community has a tennis court, a golf course, a pool, and a private park with playground and access to the lake. The house is literally across from the tennis court so our kids got to play tennis at night. We also enjoyed spending time on the patio (with gas grill and a decent size dining table) and watching deers stop by in the morning and evening! The only thing that is slightly inconvenient is the Internet connection to the TV seemed unstable. The owner was quick to respond when the issue came up. We were able to get it connected again following her instruction but somehow it was disconnected again a few times later on. The Wifi was stable so at least we can still use our tablet when TV was not working. Overall it was a decent stay and I would recommend this property to others!

We really enjoyed this property as it was tastefully remodeled and decorated and well supplied with everything needed for our 3 days stay The property owner was very responsive to any inquiries we had prior to the check in and we had no issues during our stay Kids enjoyed their daily walks to the lake and exploring the nature trails In the backyard. Daily deer feedings and sightings everywhere... overall fun relaxing trip. Will definitely be back to rent again!

Really comfortable property and perfect for relax. We had a great time. The lake view is nice and everything worked well on the house. Very clean too. Definitely will consider to come back next time.

We had an incredible experience staying at your lake house. The view was amazing. We felt comfortable and the house was clean. We enjoyed ourselves and the kids loved seeing the deers.
