We had the absolute best time! We could not have asked for a better location and the owners are absolutely wonderful people! We have a big family (14 adults and 4 children) and everyone had plenty of room and loved every minute!! We will definitely be booking again and making this a summer vacation spot!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We enjoyed our time at this property however it’s hard to fully review It as it was over the quarantine. The property needed a refresh as far as cleaning, and the hot tub was unfortunately not working which was a little frustrating as it was a key factor in renting this property. But overall the house and location were great.

I told guests to leave them in laundry room, I left the house rules at home and was unable to contact the owner. Sorry for any inconvenience.Lastly the password for Wi Fi was not the right one.Other than above we had a wonderful Saturday to celebrate a birthday.

The property is perfect for a family vacation...lots to do! Outside games, grill, 2-Story dock, and more!

From the moment we arrived we were in awe of how much there was to do and really never have to leave for an entertaining experience. There was of course the river, floating, boating, rope swing, fishing, relaxing. We ate outside around the outdoor kitchen while watching games of horse shoes corn hole and a family game of wiffle ball. Even watched a movie at the outdoor kitchen. We were a family of 20 and still could have private time. An awesome experience. Thank you so much Ernie and Debbie. God Bless! Joyce

We enjoyed a wonderful family weekend celebrating my in-laws 60th Wedding Anniversary! We had 24 family members that were able to make the trip. Special memories made and lots of fun had by all!!

The space was perfect for our family reunion.

The hospitalities were above and beyond. The house was set up perfectly for our group. The additional touches with the gift basket and all the various outdoor extras exceeded my expectations. The hot tub was a fun bonus and the temperature near the water actually made the tub enjoyable in the summer. The backyard is really a great retreat. We enjoyed jumping off of the dock. The water is beautiful and the atmosphere made us kids again! The accommodations were as described and fit our large group very well. The place was clean and well kept. The America theme was fun for our group. The only improvement would be in the comfort of the beds. I can sleep on anything so I was fine but some complained that the mattresses were hard and uncomfortable. But even that considered, we all loved the place and would stay there again without hesitation. It was perfect for our large group. We did the river in San Marcus and that trip was under 30mins. But honestly, I think we would just skip the river and hang out on the dock if we could do it over again. The house really provides its own entertainment.

My friends and I had an incredible time this last weekend! Thank y’all so much for hosting us in your home and having such a fun set up and having all of the essentials available for us to use! We had an amazing time!

We had a group of people from California to Texas join us at this beautiful house. Everyone wanted to stay longer. It’s set up for large group. The picture and description do not do it justice. The inside space was beautiful and felt like home. The backyard was to my favorite part. We spent time on the dock/in the water/ by the fire place. So much to utilize at this home. It was beyond what the expectation was based off the online description. Only thing I would have done differently is stayed longer. Thank you.

This was our second year staying here and it feels like Debbie and Ernie are constantly making improvements to the property. We will definitely be back next year and hopefully many years to come.

Every summer we rent a lake house in Seguin and this one was perfect! Between the outdoor kitchen/grill, the 2 large decks, and the fire pit, we barely even needed to be inside. The indoor kitchen and house itself was very comfortable and easily accommodated all of us. The owner was extremely sweet and left a delicious welcome basket. We really had everything we needed and loved our stay here! Can't wait to go back soon!

We enjoyed every second of our time at this property and if you are looking for a lake house that has it all this is definitely the place.

It was the perfect place for a weekend getaway and it was able hold our entire group. The property is beautiful and the lake is the perfect temperature. I would highly recommend this property to anyone and we will be back next year.

It was wonderful will be doing it again

We had a bachelorette weekend here and it was absolutely perfect. The pictures do not do the house justice. It is even more impressive in person. The house had a ton of room for everyone to sleep, a great big kitchen for the a the cooking, a washer/dryer and everything else right on the lake! We enjoyed the outside space and the hot tub! I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in the area! A group of us already want to plan a family trip back! Our only problems that I know we encountered were, there wasn't a bottle opener and we forgot to bring one and we ran out of toilet paper!

Let me first start off by saying the pictures do not do this house justice!! It may look beautiful in them, but oh my gosh in real life it is pure heaven..us and our guests did not want to go home! The ceremony and reception were both held outside and absolutely perfect! We had simple decor set for the ceremony, since the outdoor space was so amazing we did not want to take away from the already breath taking scenery. The house it self is so pretty, warm and inviting, you can tell how much love it is filled with!! The property that it is on is magnificant and all of our wedding guests had an awesome time! Some were swimming, some were just sitting and enjoying nature, while others were out drinking and dancing by the cabana. Our main concern was making sure all of our friends and family would have a great time during our reception and at Ernie's our worries were set to rest! We will definitely be making Ernie's a family vacation spot!
