We were only there for three nights, but it was the perfect staycation. The house was very clean and has beautiful views. One of our favorite parts of it was the easy access (walk past one house) to Marconi State Park. My husband and I took numerous walks in the park at different times of the day, and we only saw one person. It is a very quiet park with lots of trails and beautiful vistas of Tomales Bay. There was lots of wildlife in the yard: a very friendly fox, turkeys, and deer. Loved feeling like we were getting away but only a 90-minute drive from the East Bay. We would definitely return.

My wife, 13 year old son, sister, brother-in-law and 9 month old nephew stayed for a 3 day weekend and it was fabulous! There was plenty of living space for us all and my son even chose to spend nights on the couch and loved it! The hot tub was a huge perk and well maintained. We had a baby fox visit and deer! We were there for a wedding at the Strauss Barn, only 10 minutes away! We were about 5 minutes to the Marshall Store and 12 minutes from Nick’s cove- highly recommend both especially for the bbq oysters. Our communication with the host was easy and her directions were very clear! We had a blast! Although there is no cell service anyway- lol - this house has awesome Wi-Fi and direct tv. Thank you for a memorable weekend!!!

This was a last minute trip for us to celebrate a birthday. Jennifer was very accommodating and helped ensure that the cottage would be ready for us before we arrived. The cottage is cozy and comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen and wood burning stove. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub while soaking in views of the bay. It’s also ideally located, with peaceful, scenic drives to Point Reyes or Bodega Bay. We loved our time here and hope to return soon.

Beautiful private setting with trees and water views. We especially appreciated the art work and the decorative touches throughout the house. Well stocked kitchen. Saw a fox many turkeys and birds. Primary bedroom had a very comfortable mattress. We hope to return in the future.

We never used the washer/dryer but nice to have. Coffee pot, frig, oven worked great. Vista is so calming. We saw seals on the dock, vultures & wild turkeys in the surrounding trees. Bluebirds & Scrub jays visited daily along with a pair of gray foxes. The home is impeccable. Everything needed is right there! The linens & bathrooms are very clean. Water pressure good. Bathrobes are plush & soft for our nightly hot-tub lullaby. A stream nearby lulled us outside while we enjoyed our drinks & charcuterie, along with warm winds in the tall trees. This is a beautiful place and we had a wonderful time. The location meant that we could do activities at both Dillon Beach and Point Reyes without having to go on any long drives. If you are looking for a California Wetlands destination, you can’t beat this place, it is very serene and beautiful. It is well equipped to spend time outdoors in the yard/on the deck. If you are going to stay here, plan to cook some meals. This place has the best equipped kitchen you could ask for in a rental, including baking equipment and properly sharp knives! (Seriously this is the best kitchen I’ve used in any rental in my life.) If you want to listen to music, be sure to bring your own speaker as the amp for the speakers is totally dead (they are aware of this, as the instructions for the amp were scribbled out in the welcome binder). Also the plumbing could use a little love, the shower head fell off and bonked me in the middle of a shower, and the bathtub drain is clogged so you can’t shower in it for more than about 5 minutes before you’re wading. The dishwasher was broken for our stay but I can’t really fault them for that since it’s impossible to get appliances these days and they communicated clearly about the issue and what they are doing to resolve it. It seems like they are in the process of replacing all of the blinds in the house as they break. I hope they accelerate that process because some of the mechanisms were quite ornery. Also another oddity: bring your own facial tissues as there were none to be found in the house. Overall I recommend giving this place a visit.

We loved our stay here! The cottage is beautiful, clean, and perfect for families (we stayed with our 2.5 yr old and 4 month old). The views of the water are magical and though the cottage is right off highway 1, we barely noticed the sound of cars. The location is accessible to great food - Nick's Cove, Tony's Seafood, and the Marshall Store are just up the road while restaurants/bakeries in Point Reyes Station is just a 10-15 minute drive - as well as the beaches on the other side of the Bay (about 20-30 minutes). Jennifer was very responsive when we had questions too. We hope to return again someday!

Great place to just sit back and absorb Tomales Bay. The views from the hot tub are something we won't forget. The house was very clean, well stocked and quiet on a lovely private road. The location is amazing, with proximity to the boat launch, Tony's Seafood and Marshall Store Oysters. Wish we could live here...

We absolutely loved our time here. The view was amazing, the decorating and cleanliness were among the best we have experienced with Vrbo, and the kitchen was unbelievably well equipped. Thank you for sharing such a special getaway!

We had a great stay, and are already planning a return trip. Endless views of the bay and a very nice house with a lot of thoughtful touches. It's as nice as the pictures show.

It was a nice property in a good location. It was pretty close to all the hiking trails that Point Reyes has to offer. It was also right down the highway from an excellent seafood restaurant Tony’s. Overall it’s a really nice house with beautiful views of the bay.

This cottage is so beautifully decorated and so well-maintained the view was mesmerizing ( especially while soaking in the hot tub) we brought our boat and caught tons of crabs out on the bay it was a beautiful Thanksgiving weekend!

We have stayed at this property twice. We very much enjoy it. The view of Tomales Bay is spectacular and the house is sited to take full advantage. It is a quiet yet convenient spot, near great amenities in Marshall and Point Reyes Station. The house is well equipped and very comfortable including the beds. We had questions for the owners and they were very helpful and responsive.

Beautiful house. Fantastic location. Kitchen completely stocked with all the dishes, pans, utensils, you could possibly need. Couldn’t have been nicer.

Great location to explore the surrounding area. The restaurants in the area were amazing and we enjoyed some great hikes to burn off the calories. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and the hot tub was a great way to relax when we returned from our adventures.
