They need to keep the 1st floor back doorway and hallway free of spider webs and spray for spiders. I did tell a guy at the front desk and he had it cleaned because the lady at the front desk we told the day before did absolutely nothing. Also, I didn't realize I would hear the airplanes as much as I did when I was sleeping but I didn't fly into Minnesota, I drove so I didn't realize how close to the airport I was.

Bed was not good

They were very accommodating. I had changes in my trip that required early check in and they were so kind and quick to help me. The shuttle service was so nice! The driver recognized other passengers running for service from mall of America and was nice enough to wait for them to finish running to the shuttle. I thought that was top notch of him.

There was nothing I didn't like. One of the elevators was out of service so the wait was a bit long... but that's nothing they could have controlled and didn't affect my stay at all.

The hotel was clean, modern and appeared newer.

The hotel ignored requests for housekeeping services, such as cleaning the room. They didn't do basic things like taking out the trash and taking the used towels. I've never stayed at any hotel that did so little for guests but pretended they would do these things. These non-actions were frustrating because hotel staff kept texting me, asking if I needed anything. But they failed to deliver. Their hotel Choice Privileges program therefore seems pointless. They overcharge for water and snacks. The pricing is ridiculous.

We were staying at the Cambria because it is close to MSP. The night before we departed, we turned in our rental car so that we wouldn't have to hassle with doing that and catching our flight in the morning. The clerk at the desk provided us with a form with a telephone# so that we could call to arrange for shuttle pickup at the airport to return to the hotel. The form said to NOT take the tram but instead go to the hotel shuttle area. After many, many frustrating minutes we discovered we had to take the tram to get to the terminals where we found the correct pickup spot. We could have avoided this whole mess if the hotel would have given us the correct information. Needless to say, we were quite upset. Please, please provide the correct information so that other travelers don't have the same experience.

I was happy

The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. We wished we had checked the mattress brand to purchase one. The location is directly across from the light rail station so it was very convenient to get into the city. The room is large and so is the shower.

4 days is too long to go without house keeping services. There are no closet doors so you are looking at the clothes and ironing board, the toilet paper holder is in a strange location.

This is the second time we stayed in this hotel for about 6 hours. We always drive here and arrive late. Also, we used the free airport shuttle at 4 am, So we did not use more than the shower, the beds, and the free coffee. But so far, the rooms have been very clean and ready for guests. I will always prefer the Choice Hotels if the location is close enough.

I didn't like that we didn't have time to enjoy the pool and the rest of the amenities. Also, the parking lot is full every time. We left our car at a long-term parking lot close to the airport because this was planned but I don't know about the availability of the parking spots at this hotel. I'm sure they can accommodate everyone.

Location was easy to find.

The untold $100 fee via website. The second bed pillow had a unpleasant odor...like foot odor. The bathroom shower floor not clean. Previous guest hairs were present on the shower floor..

New and modern. Well planned room layout/amenities. Loved having no carpet and plenty of space to open up luggage. Proximity to airport with free shuttle.

The only thing missing was easy access to meals (but they had snacks and cold sandwiches available for purchase).

Bed was comfortable, room was clean and tidy.

Hotels that use little square pillows, instead of pillows that should match the bed size that are in.( king pillows to king sized beds, queen sized pillows to queen sized beds, ect.) Little square pillows are a turn off. I will not stay here again, just for that reason.
