The inside property was OK. The condo complex is dated, and needs repair. The safety and security was a little sketchy. Our condo was entered while we were away by guests arriving at the wrong condo. Two condos have the same entry codes and same instructions. We did not feel safe knowing someone came in with our personal belongings out. There also was no security latch on the inside of the door to prevent entry when we were there. Very uneasy, and uncomfortable.

The bedding of one bedroom smelled like sweat which should be washed well or replaced. All the furniture in the bedrooms are too old and have bad smells. Some cushions have bad smell as well. The hot tub is too old and lost paint and the shower is leaking. The horrible thing is the elevator. When the elevator goes up, it keeps shaking and the screen showed 20 floors, when we actually reached out the 13th floor.

Definitely felt like home. Nice place with a beautiful view. Right off the beach and a nice pool.

Make sure you get the codes to get in the apartment otherwise make other arrangements plus make sure your phone will connect you need a service as in version, att, etc. The security personnel is very helpful. The neighbors are so sweet and have great tips!

Mark was very responsive prior to and during our trip. He provided an information package that was so comprehensive that it felt a little overwhelming. We actually liked the neighborhood and enjoyed the drinks and food that we found nearby. The view from the balcony is beautiful and the walk along the beach is quite enjoyable as well.

I had contacted the owner that this was not what he listed. Within five hours I told him we were leaving, we vacated the apartment the next day before noon never even opening a bar of soap.Nothing as picture, Area is now considered dangerous, had to pass through a biker bar to get to the garage, Advised by the guard and three other residents not to go out at night.. to get from the garage to the condo you had to go outside and walk up the hill no interior access. Condo was a disgrace, dirty, hurricane shutters closed and hidden behind blinds that were broken and would not open. No hot water in the guest bathroom. The few lamps that were in the condo were rusty and broken.All the beaches in his location there is no swimming. Within five hours we advised owner we be vacating, never opened a bar of soap and we were gone before noon the next day. Considering we were here for 7 1/2 weeks it’s been very difficult finding another place to stay, but we could not stay in that condo! We had planned to contact you and file a grievance against the owner. Within his paperwork that he sent to us there is a clause that if we were unhappy Upon arrival we had to contact him , find another place to stay and he indicated I will funds would be returned in full.. His response now is totally different since we advised him we were vacating, as per the last text his intention is to keep all of our money. We even willing to pay the hundred dollars for maid service to supposedly have cleaned the condo, which was not clean but we expect to be refunded the balance. As I said previously within 45 minutes we told him it was not as advertised and within five hours we told him we would vacate, we were gone before noon the next day! After renting condos for over 15 years in Puerto Rico we have never had an experience As just graceful as this! I have documentation of everything I have mentioned above! We have filed a dispute with our credit card company, if there is anything you can do to assist us in being refunded our money through your agency it would be much appreciated. VRBO has always had an excellent reputation, I would hate this type of owner to impact negatively VRBO. Any assistance you can provide us would be appreciate it and if you have any further questions feel free to contact me!

Overall the visit was alright with some room for improvement.

Let me start by telling those that read this that I am a VRBO owner so I notice things that others may not. Yes, there are a lot of keys and a lot of instructions, but if you read them closely check in is not difficult. It may be a pain carrying around all the keys, but it sure does lead to a sense of security which is nice. The owner was super responsive and I helped out a bit by replacing light bulbs (the bulbs were there), washing the silverware holders, cleaning out all of the cabinets and running the dishwasher several times. I know first hand how hard it is to keep your vacation rental clean when you are not living near your investment! So, to the next renters, you are welcome and I do hope you think about those who come after you. There are 2 elevators in this building and 1 was inoperable during our stay and the 2nd broke with people stuck inside for 30 minutes and us carrying our luggage down the stairs 13 floors (well, the firemen helped by carrying our two heaviest bags). So, travel lightly just in case. The A/C units are portable and in each of the 3 bedrooms so make sure you turn them on about 30 minutes before bedtime so the rooms can cool. They did not run cool enough for me but with the addition of the ceiling fans it was fine. We cleaned all the A/C filters also and if the unit is not cooling well, take a look at the filters. I am not sure if there is an HOA but it did not look like it as other condos were in terrible disrepair with pigeons living on the balconies and units with no balconies because they had crumbled. There is everything you need here, just bring your clothes and food and you are all set!

First... we understand the hurricane left lasting effects on the island but.... there were smelly odors in the condo, the couch was smelly and very uncomfortable, broken deck chairs, and a tv and cable boxes that had large amounts of corrosion on the electrical connections. The facilities were barely kept operational and everything was rusty, broken or barely functional. The surrounding neighborhood is rough and we didn’t even have direct access to the beach. At night, the adjacent tower only had a few lights on which tells me that the majority of the units are not even livable. Disappointed is an understatement... a few days in I was contemplating looking for another VRBO and leaving this place ..... looking back I wish we would have.

Loved the view, and loved the sound of the waves crashing below. Apartment was great, and had everything we needed. A/C in the bedrooms worked well. Good ideas of what to do/where to eat were provided in the welcome packet. Master bed was a little too soft for my wife and me, but great value for the money.

Great location for a family. Enjoy the local scene while feeling totally safe. Beach is amazing. Beware of dangerous riptide directly in fromt of condo. DO NOT swim there. Plenty of great restaurants a block or two away. Locals are jncredibly friendly. Instringly sugges you try the surfing lessons at La Pared just up the beach. No experience required an all ages would have a blast.
