Quiet hotel, great breakfest, free private parking

My mother and I loved our stay at Hotel Moon. It was the second time we stayed here. We love the friendly service of the family who run the hotel. We also love the cosy breakfast room with all the plants and manga. The location of the hotel is very good. Near the tram and underground and near a shopping mall. With the underground you are in the center in 2 stops. Around the corner is a nice coffee cafe: Covent Garden.

The couple that run the hotel are exceptionally helpful and friendly. From the moment we arrived they made us feel very welcome, from offering to park our car for us (the car park is tight and small), helped carry our luggage to our room. There are 3 floors and no lift. The buffet breakfast isn't available due to Covid restrictions instead we had a personalised breakfast delivered to our table this includes fresh fruit, meat, cheese, rolls, cereal and yoghurt, orange juice, milk a selection of teas and coffee, eggs either boiled fried or omelette. The owners regularly checked we were ok and on leaving, hearing we had a long drive ahead gave us some fruit and cake for our journey. The hotel in general and the room we had are aged but everything is scrupulously clean. Plenty of hot water, heating and very comfy bed. A large complimentary bottle of water was provided in the room with glasses and on asking a kettle, mugs and tea. Great location for city centre, the altstadt can be reached in 20mins. There is a shopping centre a few minutes walk in the opposite direction with a station, bus and tram connections. The hotel was simple and easy to get to from the motorway.

Location, beds comfortable, friendly manager, free parking (interior court), breakfast, they help with lugagge, nice change bed sheets and towels every day.

Furniture bit old, tv too small and high placed, Bathtab side a little bit to high to get inside. No elevator, stairs not bad acceptable.

Best owners , excellent value for money

I was there with my family and a friend, never have we ever experienced such amazing and kind owners. Mr. Pae even parked our car for us and tailored the breakfast to our liking. 10/10 will go again!
