Near to beach

The building itself was a nice cottage, somewhat old but very classic design. There is a simple private onsen/spa available for use, which was a pleasant surprise for us. The kitchen/restaurant is big for the property. We had a good time chit-chatting with staff there.

It is built on a slope, so there are quite a few flight of steps to navigate to our room. Can be a challenge if one has heavy luggage. There were no real roses on the property grounds.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Kawazu, Japan during the cherry blossom season with my wife. On the last night of our stay, we missed the last bus back to the hotel, and since there were no taxis available in the area, we decided to walk the 10 kilometers back to the hotel. Before we left, we called the hotel to let them know that we would be arriving late. The hotel staff was very understanding and offered to send a car to pick us up. We were pleasantly surprised by this offer and grateful for their kindness. In the end, we did not end up walking to the hotel, as the hotel staff kindly drove to pick us up. This experience made us feel very well taken care of, and we appreciated the exceptional service provided by the hotel. Overall, our stay at this hotel was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kawazu.
