Nice room, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast with rotating menu every day. The location is very peaceful and right on the river so you can watch monitor lizards drift by each morning. Still close enough to walk to town, though I'd recommend hiring a scooter from them to explore the island better.

The only complaint is that the bath in the room was exactly that - not a hot tub as the booking.com photos suggested. A minor point though.

The location is good. It's about 3-4 Km to the cenang Beach. The concept of the place is Malay Kampung house. The rooms are very spacious. The Jacuzzi is excellent. The staffs were good and responsible, Thanks to Aiman. Comfortable beds and pillows. Parking is okay.

Breakfast limited - Basically same, the days (5D4N) we were stayed there. They should improve that. Since there are so many choice of fruit, they should give some other fruits not the same watermelon for all the days. Should be a better choice of Breakfast and different variety of fruits. Vehicle noise from the main road. There are lot mosquitoes and we need to use the mosquito repellent. Upper flour is bit hot during day time.

Breakfast was good, plenty of food on a peacefully terrasse. Very nice team and manager. Close to the beach. Kampong style garden and chalets.

The walls are perforated and as a result, insects and other animals come inside. We had to get rid of a lot of cockroaches every night, we showered with frogs. Also there were a lot of unidentified animal poops on the floor and beds every day. 1 water heater was not working. The maid stole some food 2 times in 5 days. We reported it to the manager who was supposed to revert to us asap but never did.

please read to the end. if u’re someone u love staying in hotel or luxury hotels then this is not for u. personally i loooove this place. i had been noted that there is no TELEVISION in this resort thats why i chose this since i really need a good good rest .i love the ambiance, i love my morning wake up in here. u could hear the birds and stuff ( u might hear the car and aeroplane since its near to the road and airport but for real its not bad at all unless people always horn their car😅) the staff was responsible when my jacuzzi was not working they offered to change another chalet ( which occupied 4-6 people) but since that night and the next early morning i knew i wont be in the jacuzzi so i said try to repair it first if its not working then we change chalet. luckily the jacuzzi was working out! worry not the room has fridge, water heater, aircond and fan. the bed is comfortable, everyday they will tidy up ur room and change the towels. there’s mosquitoes in the room but please check the plug or any wood box as they already prepared you the electrics mosquitoes repellent . i got 2 soo it does really help. the restroom and jacuzzi was outside the room but its covered. i mean people beside ur chalet wont see u. u will enjoy ur jacuzzi session with the little bit of outdoor ambiance. u may missed the place as it at the corner of the road soo when u 200m away please look on you left from cenang beach and ur right from cable car

u may have a good view during the breakfast but the breakfast was limited since its not buffet. almost everyday they serve english breakfast and nasi lemak. unless u’re in a group or have any other preferences then u may ask them. since my stay 4D3N with some western people so almost everyday i had english breakfast 😂. so thats the weakness in this place but im ok with it . oh theres maybe cats poo on ur way to ur chalet so carefull! 🤣

Almost nothing. This is a complete scam They never asked me why I decided to cancel the stay. Guess what! They know. They get the price of the entire stay just for a single night! I requested a refund, but they don't want to pay booking fees, so they offered to pay in cash. I got no other option but to accept refund of 40% of my money. This is after long negotiation!

Everything. I had to cancel my stay and go to another hotel. Horrible place 1. There are many openings in the wooden walls that allow cockroaches and many other insects 2. The wooden ceiling is not properly waterproof 3. No wardrobe. Just try to hang your clothes everywhere or on tables 4. The bathroom is outside the room and can be accessed by anyone passing through. Bathroom in top floor is also outside the room. You have to go through a corridor that is exposed to all other people and full of insects to reach the bathroom 5. Photos have nothing to do with reality 6. Staff are trained to suck money. They know the accommodation is bad, and they didn't allow us to see it before the charge for entire stay

The breakfast spread was good, the bed and pillows are comfortable, the cleanliness was good, and the toilet was clean with good water pressure. Spacious room for 4 people. The staff was great and ready to help us at any time available.

I didn't read properly upon booking so I didn't know there was no TV inside the room and the toilet was outside the room. It is quite challenging for Muslim women to go out to the toilet. Luckily we have another toilet upstairs, and even though it was outside the room but acceptable. I know the concept of a Malay old house where the toilet was outside, but we're not really comfortable with that.

Leaving

2 massive cockroaches: one in the bathroom and other in the room. We found out just before going to sleep. We then left the hotel at midnight to try to find a cleaner one If you don't want this kind of experience in your trip, please stay away from this place

Excellent cosy place. Superb hospitality. Location is around 15 minutes walking from the Chenang beach. Bonus: The friendly cats on the premise

The sound from the main road at night might disrupt sleep.

The price-performance ratio is not given here. The location was very outside and the beach was not within walking distance :-(. Particularly noteworthy was the great support of Aiman, his efforts saved us the stay. Thank you Aiman for renting us your scooter, without it we would have been quite lost. His early breakfast creations will always be remembered :-))). Thanks for your great support!!!

We have been traveling a lot in Asia. We have never paid this price for accommodation in this location and facilities. For half the price and for a two days it would have been ok. Unfortunately, this poor price-performance ratio is standard in Malaysia. In Thailand or Vietnam we have never had to spend so much for accommodation and had a better standard.

Kampung vibes with lots of greens. Our house (Kemangi) was very clean. Breakfast was good. Staffs were friendly and attentive.
