The Bungalow was amazing! Not like anything we would ever be able to experience anywhere else. The location was great, but the really WONDERFUL thing was the staff. They were all extremely friendly and went above and beyond for us. I can't say enough about them--especially Mike and Jocelyn.

They really need to upgrade their lounge chairs on the beach. I realize they are not your typical resort--very eclectic and cool, but it's just not practical for laying in the sun on the beach. We found that very inconvenient.

Unique

Very unique bungalows and great location. Great staff, the manager Miguel extremely nice as well as his entire staff. Also met the owner who was great.

A little pricey for the time we stayed. If breakfast was included that would have been great.

I wouldn’t classify Ocho as a 5-star luxury resort. Too many details and maintenance issues - open air bathrooms are unique, but require maintenance/repair, outdoor beach furniture need repair/cleaning/replacement, restaurant/parking/kitchen/reception is convoluted to the point where the back-of-the-house operations distract from the experience. Music and club atmosphere was fun, but difficult/constant for the two bedroom beachfront bungalow - maybe a bit more serenity before 2-3pm if wanting to attract a more luxury clientele.

It was next to the beach and close to everything. The staff and owners are the most friendly and met every request.

The door locks only with the key. Only one key per bungalow.

Location, staff was amazing

Bugs everywhere in the room. I guess it comes with being so close to nature, but still. at night the racoons come out and play on the roof very loudly. you can hear tapping and scratching.

The staff, the food, the laid back atmosphere, the room, the nature surrounding the bungalows...all.were an incredible experience! Pure Vida!

Some ants in the room, but if you stay anywhere in Costa Rica, this is to be expected!
