Für ein Hostel absolut top. Alles da was man brauch. Handtücher sogar auch kostenlos verfügbar, genauso Tee und für wenig Geld auch weitere Getränke. Der Gastgeber auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

The only thing I can think of is maybe a little curtain at the bunks for more privacy but that's all.

Sehr sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, steht allen Gästen beratend zur Verfügung, lichtdurchflutete, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Gemeinschaftsräume, gemütliche Sitzecken, super ausgestattete Küche mit ausreichend Kühlmöglichkeiten
Am Bett fehlt leider eine kleine Ablagemöglichkeit (ein kleines Brettchen o.ä.), sonst alles super

It really was the ideal hostel. I can't complain about a single thing. Its more expensive than I'm used to, but I guess considering the very high cost of everything else around, it's not too bad

Exceptional value for those looking for outstanding hiking, biking and scrambling on the quiet side of the Zupsptize area. Easy 20min drive to Garmisch and German side activities, and great place to spent a quiet day working. Thanks Mellow Mountain Hostel - I'll see you next time I'm in the Bavarian Alps!

Nice place in Reutte. Really enjoyed the view and the sauna. The dining room had a window covering one wall providing a great view. Friendly staff as well.

Amazing view from the common room
over the valley, basic but clean private room. The hostel seems to serve backpackers, hikers and climbers, the town seems to be a less touristy place to stay to access the mountains

An absolutely beautiful lodge style hostel! Definitely the most stunning hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Really felt like a much more expensive place to stay than it actually is. The views from the rooms and communal spaces are absolutely amazing, completely surrounded by towering mountains and lush green meadows. Amazing area to be based for many stunning local hikes and other attraction’s I.E Zugspitsze, Partnach Gorge, etc. Felt extremely homely and comfortable, not like the normal industrial hostel vibe, I missed it once I had left!

Clean, most comfortable environment I have stayed in, common areas felt like home, great location, parking available. Staff very accommodating.
I enjoyed breakfast, but the people I traveled with would have liked a little meat on breakfast buffet.

The room was exceptional clean especially the bathroom! Had a good size and a beautiful view to the mountains!
The breakfast was vegetarian which I think is great and local products are used.
Parking is included and, on the opposite, of the hotel. Drive to Zugspitze and Eibsee is around 30min.

The welcome from an older lady wasn't as nice. We have been told off when asked for towels as we forgot ours "we are a hostel not a hotel". To then find a note in the room for all guests quote " In case you did not bring your own towels, shampoo or hair dryer you can borrow those things for free at the front desk".
So not sure what that was all about.... Left a little bitter taste after a great day.

Amazing hostel in such a beautiful valley with huge panoramic windows to enjoy the views! Awesome staff really welcoming and helpful. Clean comfortable rooms and they provide towels for free! Nice kitchen. Really loved this hostel highly recommend!

Everything was extremely clean. Community facilities were TOP. You had everything from microwaves to plates or even basic ingredients to cook.

Sauna and steam bath available for use (already included in the price). Very new building. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful lounge with an amazing view over the valley through the large windows! Big kitchen and bar which you can use as you like. Shared bedrooms with a private bathroom. Ecofriendly an veggie minded.

This is a cozy, friendly, comfortable, and most of the time quiet and relaxing hostel. The team managing it is very lovely and they have made everything to transform this hostel into a place to rest and recover after intense days of outdoor activities.
Only as a minor suggestion, if in the future they can invest more to keep improving it, it will be good to invest in better (firmer) matrasses or to get better pillows, but this is not a major issue right now.
