The worst hotel we have stayed in Vietnam. I know it is a budget hotel so know what to expect but was really disappointed in everything about his hotel. I stayed here 3 years ago & for budget hotel it was fine but this time nothing was to expectations. Checked in on 19th March around 1.30pm, the first statement from young man at desk was ‘show booking’ . He did not say hello or how are you, nothing. Then he said ‘room ready 2.00pm. We left bags, went out &came back after 2.00pm. The front lobby is very dirty, the lounge to sit on in lobby is filthy dirty, 4 motorbikes parked near staircase of lobby. First time we have never had water in our room, our bath at was a ‘face washer’ A lot of good a face washer will do!! The safe was locked already so we had to have him come up & open it. The picture on the TV is terrible, fuzzy. The key & tags are really big so left key at reception, the man on desk leaves guests keys on top of counter for anyone to take. Their reception dentrance is so close to the street anyone could come in & take a key to a room or another guest could take my key. This is so bad. I asked him if it was safe there & he said yes he is always there. Well he is not always there, when we left one morning there was no one in reception 7 peoples keys were on counter. When we came back at 3.30pm the next day the room had not been touched, somI asked him downstairs if they clean room. He said if I want it cleaned he can do it later when I go out. I just got new towels instead. Badly run, non caring staff, I would not recommend & I would never go back.

Perfect for what I wanted for 2 nights at a no frills price. Easy checkin, comfy bed and hot shower. I liked the little balcony looking onto the quiet laneway. Also bars on the window so I could keep it open all night and feel safe. Note there is no lift. All in all I loved it and would definitely stay again.

Wind chimes on balcony opposite which ding donged all night - I like to keep the window open so easily solved by keeping the window closed. Other than that everything was peaceful and quiet.
