Easy check in and check out process. High celling. Free fruits, croissants, milk. Great location.

Spacious two bedrooms but only one small bathroom

It would have been a bit of a squeeze if 5 people had been staying

Very quiet apartment with comfortable beds. Efficient layout, nice high ceilings. We slept really well!

Very very tiny bathroom with a nice shower. So tiny, we had to towel outside, in the small hallway. With a family of four it worked, but any other constellation I would find difficult. The apartment was clean, but it felt, as if a deep clean would be good. The sofa had stains. The kitchen felt superficially cleaned with cutlery that was not really clean (which might be because of lack of dishwasher). The fridge was very clean. The area was ok and not too noisy with a few cute cafes, but there are definitely nicer areas in Edinburgh to stay. For us it worked, but I wouldn’t want to stay longer than two nights.

Claire was wonderful. Excellent communication The apartment feel likes you are staying at someone's home, not a sterile hotel. Plenty of games and bedding. We loved the location and the cafe across the street is amazing! We had 4 adults and 2 kids and, while the apartment is not big, everyone had enough space.

Property is in quite a good location, only 10-15 mins walk to old town. Also has a lovely cafe opposite the apartment who are very friendly.

The cleanliness was not to a good standard, half used food left in cupboards, including some mouldy tortilla wraps. There was thick dust on and in the wardrobe. Lastly, one of the double beds was unusable as it had a loud squeak every time you moved even the slightest amount. Two of us had to sleep on the small sofa bed.

The apartment was very comfortable with everything we needed. The location was very convenient with shops/cafes nearby and an easy walk into the city centre. Perfect for our group of 5. Slept well on the sofa bed too! Claire was an attentive host both before and during our stay, great experience.

The shower room was compact, but fine for a short stay. The main entryway in the building gets quite dark in the afternoon before the lights come on, so had to be careful in the hallway and on the stairs. Would also recommend slippers in the apartment as some areas of the wood flooring were very slippy. Couldn't get out to the downstairs patio as someone had run off with the key!
