Fab wee bungalow just off Newcastle main street with all amenities within walking distance. Great place for kids as completely enclosed outdoor space. Highchair and large travel cot provided.

The spaciousness of the property.
Being 6’3” I had to sleep diagonally due to both beds having bed ends. Beds without bed ends pose no problems for those who are tall.

Beautiful house, spacious, modern and cosy all rolled into one! Beds were super comfy and location was superb - a short walking distance from the promenade.
The house surpassed all our expectations and although the wintry weather wasn't the kindest to us, the roaring fire and comfy seats in the lounge were amazing, we didn't want to leave! Wonderful in winter and I'm sure even better in summer.
Mary was a lovely host, informative and within easy reach if you needed to check anything. If you're looking for accommodation in Newcastle don't hesitate to book, this is the perfect place for a getaway. We will be back!

The house was fantastic and everything was there that was needed or wanted. The host was invisible but available, helpful and responsive.
If we are fortunate enough to get back to Newcastle I hope 6 Park Ave is available.
Just a little but more cleaning on the floors, but apart from that the thought and approach of the owner was fantastic.

Absolutely gorgeous property, photos don’t do it justice! We had a brilliant stay here, so homely & peaceful with a beautiful back garden. Great location, right in the heart of the town. Mary was a lovely host & always responded promptly to any inquiries. Would definately stay again.

What a fantastic property, right in the heart of newcastle, modern, clean so convenient. Mary was lovely, easy handover of keys. The property is new and had everything we needed. The location was amazing, 1 minute walk and you are on the high street or down by the river. It was so good, before we left, we booked to go back again next month.

The property is very nicely located in central Newcastle, within walking distance of just about everything you could want from a visit to Newcastle.
The property has been nicely modernised in comparison to the surrounding bungalows but still manages to keep some of it's charm (the bedrooms and living room feel cosy and comfortable over modern and sleek like the bathrooms and kitchen and honestly this works very well).
During our stay we found we had everything we needed in terms of conveniences and comfort, I would happily come here again, we came as part of our local honeymoon/minimoon and had a great time.
The bathrooms in the property are both very good and very modern, only showered in one but they looked virtually the same, shower was excellent.
The view out the back of the house is brilliant, you get a really good view of part of the Mournes on a clear day.
Having off-street parking behind a gate you can close is another great feature of the property, especially in such a central location.
Host sent check-in instruction early on day of check-in as promised which was very appreciated.
There are a lot of instructional notes around the property which whilst understandable I would have preferred had they been part of a welcome pack, or via some communication from the host initially, some were quite faded and hard to read.
There is a wood burning stove which would have been lovely to have used but there are strict instructions on it's use and specific materials to burn and then clean the stove afterwards which put me off using it altogether.

Perfect location. Very warm and comfortable house. Had a slight issue, but the hosts were easy to contact and quick to resolve. Secure parking and garden. Whole house is easily accessible. Kitchen well stocked with equipment/appliances etc.

This accomodation is even better in reality than the pictures suggest, which is a first for me! The location is excellent, the property is very clean and comfortable and just really lovely. It feels like home. I couldn't find any faults.
The only thing I would suggest, would be to perhaps, exchange one of the double beds for two single beds in one of the bedrooms.

Good family home for our trip. Kitchen was lovely. Bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms very clean. Would stay again if in the area. Owner easily contacted and very nice.
