no kettle, no proper towels , still cold despite windows are closed. bed was quite hard. but place was clean .

Staff: The owner was really accommodating and was fluent in English which made it easier for me (as someone who understands little Korean). He was present daily and open when you need him. Location: The hotel was walking distance from 2 subway stations which made it easier to move around the city. It is also near the Dongdaemun Night Market which made it easier to shop. Some fastfood and restaurants around the hotel were also operational 24/7.

Not the hotel's fault but some of the alleys leading to the hotel were a little dark. So if youre like me that got delayed in arrival in Korea you might want to take a longer route to the hotel so that itll be well lit -Allthough Korea is really safe. (Again not the hotel's fault)

The room was of decent size for two people, and the bathroom was nice and clean. The wifi worked well considering it was free which was very helpful. Staying during summer meant it was really hot so being able to use the air-con at any time was really good.

There was nothing that I necessarily found to be unpleasant during my stay here. The taxi driver found it a little hard to locate at first but it was late at night so maybe finding it during the day may have been easier.

The receptionist / hotel manager speaks chinese, English and korean. He is incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Helped me out big time. Thank you

The staff was really kind and speaks communicable English. Weirdly, I asked the staff which station was the closest one to the hotel and he said the distance between Dongdaemun station and Dongmyo station to the hotel are the same BUT the truth is Dongmyo station is only 5 mins walk while Dongdaemun take up to 10-15 mins walk. The price of the room is reasonable compared to its location.

The bed sheet had a weird smell. The window didn't have a proper curtain to hide all the lights during daytime so it was quite hard to force myself back to sleep after 7 am. The entire building didn't provide any utensils to eat so the only way to eat was to go outside.

The location is what I liked the most, you can reach a lot of interesting places on foot and the subway is very close. The surrounding area even at night feels very safe! The staff is very kind and helpful! Plus the hotel cat is very cute!!

The atmosphere in the place is great,the room was super cleaned an all equipped with TV,kettle,little fridge (Minibar size), hairdryer. The toilet and shower are new and very cleaned. I felt I could live here permanently! On the 6th floor there is a common room with small kitchen(I didn't use it) a shared fridge (check if there is enough space before you buy something as it was quite full), washing machine and dryer. The person at the reception was super friendly and easy to contact.Regarding the position, if you like to walk you can reach most of the classic touristic spots walking, otherwise around here it's full of subway stations and buses. The best thing is the Cheonggyecheon river where you can walk and relax anytime,day and night.

The only negative aspect is that this area have a slot of people working at night,so you can sometimes ear noises during the night,like people preparing boxes with tape,or moving stuff.

Location was excellent , the staff and cat were nice.

The bed was very stiff to the point it was not for sleeping. The room was not clean, the bathrooms hot water took 30 mins.

The room is clean and the aircon works well. They upgraded my room into a 2 bedroom instead of single bedroom. The bed is comfortable. I did not see the staff due to corona guidelines, but he was kind.

The actual rooms appear differently from what is published on the website. It was smaller than what I expected. I wasn't able to use any of the facilities.

The location is very convenient and the staff was very helpful. There were also kittens living around the hotel🥺

The sheets on one of the beds were dirty. We also had to take our trash to the 5th floor every time the bin got full and the cleaning service was only by request, but I get that these were the necessary measures for safety due to COVID-19, so no judgment for that, just a minor inconvenience which is worth mentioning.

I like the location so much. It is near the Dongmyo subway station around 3-5 min. You can go to everywhere from Dongmyo.

Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Hasn't been lived in for a while so things like the mug and kettle aren't clean. Walls are a little marked up but other than that, good, comfy stay.

No breakfast, location a little iffy but if you want to go shopping, the Dongmyo Market and Dongdaemun Market are pretty close. The hotel is more like a motel, not the best but for the value its worth it.

The owner upgraded my room to a double room. There was a TV, air conditioning, small fridge, bed, desk, chair, and private bathroom. The place was close to the Dongdaemunun, and traditional market. Great value compared to the price.

Cleaning the room was only possible once a week, and staff just opened the door when I was sleeping and then they just cleaned my room the next day. I felt unsafe and unpleasant about the service. Noise is a serious problem in this accommodation. I could hear all kinds of noises from other rooms. It was really stressful. The bathroom door is a sliding door, which makes noises any time when someone uses the bathroom. I could hear the sliding door sound day and night and other guests' voices. The bathroom's water was not clear. I think there was some rust in the water. The color of the water was slightly yellow and I felt a weird taste after brushing my teeth, so I had to gargle my teeth again. Although the accommodation is of great value as price and location, it also has many downsides. Thank you.
