Great location for the town.

The parking is away from the hotel. However, a car park was only 5 minutes away.

We really liked the friendliness of the staff and the location is perfect in Poole, easy to get to buses/trains/berlybikes and very close to other pubs and restaurants. Breakfast was nice and our room was cleaned every day (unless we requested otherwise)

Our room was very small (although this was the room description) it would be fine for short stays however the bed wasn't very comfortable. Overall it was a great place to stay.

The actual building is nice

Awful customer service and awful food. The first time we have been unable to eat the food and we travel a lot. After waiting for an hour we asked for a menu only to be given a menu with half of the items scribbled out with a biro. We ordered and the food we received was so awful we couldn’t eat it. Frozen mash, raw seafood, pie full of grissle .🤮

Breakfast was a bit of a let down. Alot of the cooked breakfast was over cooked.

Initial reception greeting was average - no smile and no attempt to help with luggage, even though I am disabled. Room was very tired , certainly not as advertised, though shower was good. Breakfast was generally undercooked and black pudding hard.

No parking on site, bedside light didn't work, power failure of wall sockets early morning, inflexible breakfast choices, we only had toast & marmalade + coffee but we're charged £5.99 each so the tills added up with the continental choices

Great location and friendly staff.

Room 9 had a very poor bathroom. Extractor fan not working, and shower curtain was unable to prevent a flood on the floor.

ALL staff were outstanding. Very hard-working, friendly & professional.

Double room was very cramped. It is a "dog-friendly" hotel. Fortunately we only have a small dog. Any guests with a bigger dog would've been really struggling. Good job it's not cat-friendly, you wouldn't be able to swing it round! - Water leaked through the extractor fan in the bathroom ceiling during a storm.
