The cottage itself was very nice and had everything we needed. New appliances, comfortable bed, great shower and an uncluttered space. We were not expecting a TV, but there was a new TV there too. The location of the property was excellent for biking to the ferry and exploring Wood’s Hole.

Access was difficult, uneven stairs and paver stepping stones on a hill-entry. The lawn needed attention and vines need to be trimmed around the lights and back entrance. There were no chairs or area to sit outside. There was overflowing trash on the side of the house (which WAS addressed promptly by the owners when we mentioned it.) Cleaning fee was high.

We loved the place overall! It was a nice escape in a great location. We loved how open the layout was, and the downstairs bedroom's ship aesthetic was very charming! We enjoyed having a nice kitchen to cook meals.

We found the beds to be uncomfortable. There is also a dead mouse on top of one of the kitchen cabinets-- my partner and I both started to have really bad stuffy noses as soon as we checked in. We were pretty miserable by the last night of our stay. It may be unrelated but the mouse made us question the cleanliness of the place.

Liked the privacy of it. It was very quiet. The location was good close to everything we needed. The record player was nice to bring back memories of our grandparents.

The first thing is there is no TV this should have been noted in the advertisement and the shower liners where dirty and for the money you pay they can afford to change them between each visitor. They charge $101 cleaning fee and then in instructions given at the cottage they ask you to start laundry and wash and put away any dishes used. There was no outside furniture and the yard was not maintained. They advertised 2 parking spaces the spaces are just dirt patches on the side of the road .
