everything was great

the room is correct, we have spent a great time with that family. The cooking of the family is delicious, we ate very well, the family is very kind. It is an excellent price for the quality it is possible to organize a trek with the owner for a good price.

the accomodation is far to the city center and tourist area. we went trekking with the owner for 2 days, but he made us pay anyway 1 night while we was in the trek because he had not cancelled the réservation of the night. We have not like it. The night is not expensive but it is on principle. This is inappropriate.

If you're looking for a unique and unforgettable experience in Banlung, then look no further than Pow's homestay! His family are some of the most welcoming and caring people we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Pow went above and beyond to make our stay special, organizing an amazing jungle trek for us that was full of adventure. The house itself is different from what you'd expect - but in a good way - with breathtaking views all around it. Although it's not located right in the center, renting a motorbike or getting one of Pow's lifts will get you there quickly enough! We highly recommend staying at this lovely homestay if given the chance; both Pow and his family are always happy to help out however they can. It really made our trip so much more enjoyable knowing we were being taken care off by such kind-hearted people!

Definitely this is the place to disconnect yourself from the world. Calm, chill, slow. Hammock, nothing else needed. Lovely family. The offered me banana in rice wrapped into a banana leaf - I couldn't find it anywhere else. You buy lunch/dinner. The conditions are very basic but there is all you need.

I only didn't understand why I couldn't order a breakfast, which would be very convenient for me, because of the bus waiting at 8 am. And it' s quite far to get anything to eat on the main road.

Mr Pov and his family were very welcoming to us in their beautiful home. Mr Por speaks excellent English and it made the evenings talking with him really enjoyable and helped us learn a lot about life in the area. He also came trekking with us as well as two guides from a village near the jungle. The trek was challenging at times but the destination was beautiful and the food and drinks by the river in the evening were magical.

A fantastic homestay in a very scenic location on the outskirts of town. Pov and his family are very welcoming, and offer fantastic value meals alongside the family.

More an FYI that facilities are basic - shower was not working so used a bucket, non-flushing toilet and limited power.

We had a very good stay at Mr Pov and his family's place. Everyone was very friendly, we feel like we are visiting friends. The location is beautiful and quiet. The room is confortable and the accomodation is clean. We had our breakfast and dinner there and it was delicious. I recommend you to book a tour to visit the area on his homemade tuktuk. Mr Pov could organise trekking in the jungle for you as well. Thanks again!

It's a bit a far away from the city center but who cares ! You enjoy the calmness , the peace and nature above all! Nice and friendly family ! They will help you with whatever you want and need! I recommend staying a few days there ! Love the cats and kittens !

everything was perfect! pov is really nice and his family too. he can organize amazing treck in the jungle and you can eat there, his wife cooking is wonderful. we had the most amazing time there, we recommend this place with no hesitation!

It is a nice homestay with a lovely family. It's a really homestay so don't expect luxury. If you are searching for a real experience you are right here.

Amazingly hospitable family who make you feel like you're at home. Truly a great experience all around and Mr. Pov organized a great 3 day, 2 night jungle trekking experience with a local guide. Definitely recommend staying here while you're in Banlung, and Pov is willing to pick you up and drop you off where needed. He can also schedule any bus or trip you may need. THE highlight of my trip so far!

This is a real homestay! If you're looking for a "sharing with locals" experience, this is the place to be. Pov, the father of the family, speaks good english and can organise nice hikes to the jungle with you (out of the big tourist agencies). He is available 24/7 and can take you anywere you want with his motorbike. Pov's family is so sweet and you'll have dinner together if you want. The house is in the middle of the forest, such a beautiful environment. Don't expect luxury, this is a homestay, not a hotel/hostel and that is what makes the experience amazing. I truly recommend this place because it's alsoa good way to support locals after the damage that covid caused in their busineses. Thanks for having me family!

Mr Pow and family were very accommodating, beds were big with plenty of room. Very homely, just like being at a home away from home. Thank you very much for having us!
