Great Location and Ocean front view

My 70 year old Mother and I flew from Ohio to Miami only to find that the host said she canceled our reservation. So we had no place to stay. I had received emails all the way up to the day of our trip with a trip ID, confirmation number, gym access code, wifi password...no mention of a cancelation or a refund. We ended up flying back the same evening and i had to contact VRBO to ateempt to get a refund, which they say I will get, but still have not received. We arrived at the building the condos were in and it looked like a dated casino inside. We ate at a decent restaurant inside where we could see out to the pool the was drained and fenced off. I messaged the host from the restaurant telling her we had everything but a door access code and got nothing back. I then called her and she said she had removed the listing from VRBO and that i had to deal with them. Luckily, at least, their customer service was quick and it seems i have a refund coming for the room...we did however still pay over $500 for flights, and Ubers to and from the airports.

Upon arrival check in Staff not friendly at all, floor lobby smelled bad, upon entering studio smelled of cigarette and sprayed, place did not seemed cleaned, very outdated mold under sink, shower paint peeling in the tub,beds were very uncomfortable, no extra blankets, floor felt dirty, place felt very unsafe and noisy, only upside to this rental is the beach access and free parking. I would not rent here again.

I've stayed at Castle Beach Clubs many times. However, this is my first time with Blu Vacation Rentals. BVR is wonderful! They always responded very quickly before and during our stay. The condo is just as the pictures show. My only dissapointment during this stay (No fault of BVR) The pool and Tiki bar were closed.

We are pleased with our stay here. The view of the beach was awesome and we enjoyed all of the amenities that came with the room such as the beach chairs and umbrella.

Everything is great

This place was easy to check into and is exactly as advertised. The view is fantastic! Many of the reviews mention building infrastructure noise, and I agree with those reviews. It might be the plumbing. A few small things would make this place so much better: sturdier/larger beach chairs, larger beach towels, and a broom with dust pan. If you rent it, plan ahead and bring your own beach towels or blanket!

Good location nice view

The view from the balcony was amazing. Waking up as the sun rises over the water with a cup of coffee is the best way to start a fun filled day. There is so much to do. Hanging at the pool and beach during the day. Seafood or Cuban restaurants at night. Day trips to Key Largo, South Beach and Everglades.... Great trip. Great location.

Our condo was great, very clean. Perfect location. Management was very good, lots of communication before checkin etc. My complaints have to do with the building in general. It’s loud, however it was spring break. Valet is extremely slow. Building needs a major face lift.

Good place for the $

We recently got back from a 5 day stay at Vanessa's place. Overall we had a lovely time. A few things felt out of date in the building were the apt. is. The pool area needs a bit of TLC but location on the beach is perfect. We had a few issues with coffee pot and door to balcony not locking and Vanessa was very responsive.

Perfect: The view and the balcony. Gorgeous view and if you wake up early you catch the sunrise, which we couldn’t get enough of. The balcony was very peaceful and spacious enough that my girlfriend and I could eat a few meals there. It was like a second home within the home. Good: Location and amenities. The ease of access to the beach was very convenient and a highlight of the trip. The tiki bar was really nice and I really recommend the piña colada in a pineapple. The pool area is also nice to lounge in. Bad: Cleanliness. The apartment itself is long overdue for a deep clean - the floor was simultaneously dusty and sticky, the bathtub was also dirty. The towels provided all had some sort of stain and just didn’t feel clean. The cooking utensils were also dirty and we had to clean them profusely upon arrival. This is something I’m used to from my days backpacking in Europe but not what I’d have expect from a fancier stay in Miami. The pool also had a cleanliness issue with clearly rusty metal fixtures under the water and a lot of sand in the pool floor. Overall: I’d stay there again but I’d bring my own bath towels in addition to beach towels. However, my girlfriend would kill me if I booked a vacation for the two of us there.

Excellent location, and views from the balcony are spectacular.

We enjoyed our stay at Castle Beach. The property could use some updating but the room was clean and comfortable. We loved having our own balcony. Beach was just a short walk away. Pool was big and nice to have a tiki bar close by.

Overall was a nice place to stay , everything that was mentioned on the listing was accurate. The view of the balcony and the water was amazing ! . Check in process is very strict and unless you get a early check in they won’t allow you to check in until exactly 3pm and then there was a line of about 20-40 people which took hours to actually check in . I would stay here again , for the money and views of water , restaurants in hotel / close by , stores inside the hotel . It was good for the price

First off, the room is right off the beach/boardwalk and the view from this room is amazing. This was our favorite part of our stay. The bed was comfortable, the beach chairs/umbrella were a great touch, and the air conditioning worked well. The building is more run down than the photos suggest. The elevators and valet are slow. We took the stairs on several occasions rather than wait for the elevators. One morning the valet took 25 minutes to get our vehicle. The walls seem thin. We could hear the neighbors above opening the balcony door and flushing the toilet. Next door, we could hear the opening/closing of their hallway door, along with conversation and music even though it didn't seem excessively loud. The balcony could use more cleaning between stays (bird poop on the glass & table).The outdoor pool closed at sundown, which was a bummer. The Turkish and Russian baths appeared to be closed as the lights were off & the doors were locked each time we tried them, however we didn't confirm with the front desk. We weren't there to watch tv, but the television did not work. We tried looking at the cords & making sure they were plugged in correctly. We even looked up the troubleshooting video and we could not get it to turn on. It was annoying it wouldn't just turn on with ease and that more troubleshooting would have been required in order to watch it. Overall, it was a great stay, especially when outside our room on the nearby beach or on the boardwalk. Even sitting out on the balcony listening to the waves crash was beautiful. Inside the room there are some things that can be improved.

Great view of ocean and walking distance to the ocean. Nice balcony. Comfortable beds. Nice little kitchen. Has everything you need. Bathtub needs some clean up as well as some upgraded items to use in the kitchen. Pool area is ok. Overall a great experience.

Couldn’t be in a better spot. The check-in with security and the valet were a bit chaotic. The room had a great view. It could have been a tiny bit cleaner and some items need updated.

The pictures were a bit deceiving. We have become accustomed to knowing pictures are taken at certain angles to make them look nicer and more spacious but these were more excessive than normal. The gym was an absolute disaster. We stayed 5 days and it was not cleaned once. Several broken pieces of equipment and a complete mess. The pictures were not even close to representing the actual facility. The room and property were ok and we would consider it again in the future but we will also explore other places in the area.

Would definitely stay here again. The view was amazing! We were on the 8th floor balcony room with ocean view. Hopped in the elevator, out the building past the hotel pool with tiki bar right to the beach! Free valet who had our car to us quick every time! The room was just right for us with a small kitchen when we had our dinner on the balcony. The owner was fast in responding to any questions when checking in. No complaints with this booking at all!

Overall it was good, however lots of miscommunication between property manger and front desk. The valet was disorganized. On our last day we waited 30 minutes for our car due to them unable to find it and lost the keys.

I don’t like to write reviews nether do I like to read them.I decided to do it this time as I was very unpleased with the smell that was coming from the hall way inside to room.It smelled like dead fish and spoiled water topped off with some cleansing solution like pine sol or some other cleaning detergent to kill the stink. The air in the room felt heavy and toxic and all my cloths inside the room smelled like that.I think that whomever is considering to rent this room should be aware in what are they walking in. Stay healthy !

Condo was everything host described! Room was clean with everything we needed including waking up to that incredible view each morning. Property is older, but condo has been well maintained. Communication with host was always accessible. The resort's pool, tiki bar, Smart Elevators systems and beach access are great. The only complaint is check-in and the valet system (which is beyond host's control). Have a plan in place to unload everything quickly right there in the driveway and schlep it all up the stairs(we used our beach wagon and were able to secure a bell cart). The resort needs to work on this chaotic arrival/departure system. Even with that said, we would stay here again.
