We enjoyed our 5 night stay at the property very much. The whale watching from the lanai was amazing. The pool was very nice. It was convenient having a restaurant on the property. Having a washer/dryer was an added bonus. Would stay again.

The condo was perfect. Kaanapali Shores is a very well kept property. Staff was very friendly. The view from the condo is great. Whale watching was very exciting.

The unit was presented exactly as described in the listing. Well-stocked kitchen and had beach chairs and bodyboards. The primary bed was amazing. Easy access to the beach and pool. We have stayed in multiple units at Kaanapali Shores and this was our favorite. Definitely will be returning and staying in this unit.

My family of adults stayed here for four nights. The condo has a lovely ocean view and sits right adjacent to one of the resort pools, which is very convenient! The resort itself is very clean, somewhat dated, but the staff is very friendly and the accommodations were very comfortable. Communication with our host/owner was excellent! Any minor issues or questions we had were addressed right away. Nice family resort, Kaanapali Beach is beautiful, and this condo was a nice place to stay at a reasonable cost.

We had a fantastic family trip. Location and amenities were fantastic. The pool was heated. Live music was great. The condo had all the necessary things to feel like home. We did not try the restaurant on the property, but it looked busy, so I assume it was good. Some of the pots and pans could probably use some replacement as the non stick coating was coming off. Would book this location again.

We absolutely loved our stay at your beautiful condo. The views were amazing. The beds were all very comfortable and we had plenty of space for our family of 5. It was quiet at night and we all slept great after our busy days on the island. Having a cooler and ice packs were wonderful to have to pack cold drinks in. It was a nice home away from home for our vacation on beautiful Maui. Mahalo!

Location was great. It was quite a distance from the elevators but the views made up for that. Everything was great.

We had a wonderful stay at the condo - it was comfortable and clean, well stocked, and the view and location are fabulous. The resort itself is beautiful, my family loved the pools and swimming in the ocean nearby. We enjoyed the walk-ability to food trucks, restaurants, and the grocery store as well. We had a wonderful time and the condo was perfect. So well stocked, the kitchen had every tool I needed, and the view was great! The host was a great communicator and the pools were marvelous! The beds didn't feel like cardboard, and they supplied ample toiletries. Thank you again john!

The condo was perfect. We really did enjoy our stay and will definitely be back. There is so much to do at the condo property if you just want to relax. It is also in a great location that you can get to just about anywhere very easily. I would highly recommend staying here!

We were very happy with our stay. The condo is just as pictured and the view is incredible. The walk to the pool and beach was very short and we were always able to get a parking spot close to the condo. We had trouble with the AC the first night, but after adjusting the sliding doors it started working and worked perfect the rest of the time. The only thing I would caution others about is to not sit on the steps to the beach at night as after about 5 minutes my fiance had a centipede crawl on him and bite him. Overall a phenomenal place to stay and we would stay again.

This is such a wonderful property for Maui vacations. The condo is clean and everything functions, it has all you need for a lovely family getaway on this beautiful island. The resort and condo are just as pictured.

Thank you for having us at your condo. The size was great for our group of 5. It was comfortable with plenty of space. Make sure the door is lined up correctly or the AC doesn’t run. This is noted in the condo but it’s a little tricky. The view was fantastic and we saw whales from the lanai! We enjoyed the pools and hot tubs too. No trouble getting chairs either. The beach chairs were appreciated as well as the boogie boards. The ocean pool had nightly entertainment that we enjoyed. Super friendly staff. Restaurant has a good happy hour from 2-5 and even had poolside service. Thank you for the laundry and dishwasher soap. We would definitely rent here again. Mahalo for having us! We loved our stay at this condo! The owners are very responsive and the most accommodating we’ve ever experienced! They let us have a late checkout which was extremely helpful! We traveled to Maui with our two teenage children and loved having two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a full kitchen. The view from the deck is spectacular! We really enjoyed the location and ability to be this close to the water. We could see whales from our deck! Loved having the restaurant and pools right there to use. Beach can be small depending on tide, but as stated it’s a short walk to where it’s larger so it’s not an issue. The condo was very clean and beds very comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need. Air conditioning works well but you need to follow the instructions on the lanai doors. Noise was not an issue for us at all. The pools and grounds are very pretty. There are shops and a small general store at the resort. This condo was exceptional and we would definitely stay there again! The owners are wonderful!

We really enjoyed the extra steps our hosts took to make us feel welcome and ease the amount of items we had to bring or purchase down there. Communication was great. View was outstanding (pool AND ocean) which was great when I was stuck in the room with a napping kiddo … still felt like I was a part of things :). In walking the boardwalk to other hotels, I could tell they would be a lot more money but were set further back from water and were too large to enable me to watch my family at the pool from my balcony. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful ocean view. The unit was perfect for our family vacation, was very clean, well stocked and perfect for enjoying morning coffee. We enjoyed the location and easy access to the beach, pools and the restaurant... John is informative about the island, quick to respond and very easy to deal with... Will definately recommend spending a vacation here... Thank you 😊

Pros: 1. This is a second floor unit very close to pool and restaurant. Some might find this a plus. 2. Condo was very clean and well stocked. We had everything we needed for cooking. 3. Ocean view is good. Cons: 1. condo is right next to the restaurant and pool. It is VERY noisy. Loud music playing most nights until 10:00 pm. If you are from an earlier time zone this might be a problem. 2. Beds are very uncomfortable. Twin beds were swayback. Master king bed had a thick foam pad that wanted to slide off the bed. 3. TV system is a nightmare to make work even with written instructions.

We have enjoyed a completely wonderful 10 days in this clean, comfortable, and well provisioned condo. Felt like home! Excellent location and our owners/hosts have been incredibly welcoming and obliging to us. A well deserved 5 star rating! 🌴😁

my family of 5 (kids 21-24) & my friends family (same age kids) stayed at two different condo's at this same property. Our condo was very clean, it had a lot of extra's (kitchen items, towels, beach items...). we were on the 2nd flood & steps away from the beach & pool. The property itself was a bit older, but it was well kept & in a great location - on Kaanapali beach, walk to stores, food trucks right out-front. The property owners of the property were VERY responsive & helpful; they allowed us to stay in the condo later the last day due to a late flight - very friendly! And it was easy to locate, parking accessible, doors easy, workers at condo/hotel very helpful...The condo was updated but a bit tight for our family of 5, but we loved it! We had a great time & will definitely stay at this location again.

Wonderful property with a stunning view and great amenities!

Unit was as expected and consistent with other comments about the AC not working in the second bedroom. We managed with the large fan available in the unit. Very quiet, both in between suites and outside. Great view on the water and wonderful sunsets from the balcony. Would stay there again.

We returned a little over a week ago from our 7 night stay and can't stop thinking about it. We couldn't be happier with the accommodations. The location was absolutely perfect. So close to everything in Kaanapali and Lahaina plus having many food options (food trucks, restaurants, grocery store) within walking distance was ideal. Our hosts were incredibly responsive to any questions we had, and the condo was clean, updated, comfortable and had everything we needed. Would stay here again over and over (and hope to get the chance)...

This condo was perfect for our family of 4 -- it was great to have a full kitchen (stocked with pans, tools, etc.) and the ocean/pool view was lovely.

We loved our stay at Johns's unit, clean, had a great location, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Definitely recommended it as a place to relax and have fun.

This was our first time staying at Kaanapali Shores although we have stayed at neighboring properties previously and really do love the location. The condo unit itself was clean and nicely equipped. We had a few minor concerns that didn't require any real resolution so I would not hold this against the hosts. The air conditioning was not as effective in the 2nd bedroom as the master and living areas. I think the addition of ceiling fans would go a long way to improve the air circulation. The other issue was that the property was renovating the pool nearest the restaurant. Our unit was directly adjacent to the construction and noise was a huge disappointment to our enjoyment, even while at the beach. The restaurant was not even an option the majority of the day due to the noise. We were so looking forward to utilizing the restaurant and enjoying the views. We were notified of this renovation a few weeks prior to our trip which left us no option but to keep our existing reservation and could not change. We were disappointed but overall enjoyed our stay.

This property was great for my family's vacation and the owners were wonderful to work with! The beach access is very convenient and it was nice to have some beach toys supplied. The owners answered all of my questions and offered welcome recommendations for the area. There was some construction while we were there, but it was during the day while we were out doing things and the owners made us aware of it well in advance. Definitely recommend this rental!
