Overall, very nice beachfront property accommodates 8 adults and 3-4 children. Very well stocked. Great location for watching the many surfers enjoying the big waves this past week.

Awesome vacation! Home was very clean and spacious. Surfers right outside the deck made for great entertainment. Every bedroom has a view of the ocean!!

The property was a great size for us with quite a large group of women (11 in total). We had plenty of space and never felt like we were all on top of each other. Great location right on the beach, which made it all the more fun. Great interactions with the owner of the property. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Overall the stay was good. Issues with the elevator so that was not available as hoped. We loved the area. Bert’s was a great store to visit. Taco Boy was our favorite restaurant. We will visit again.

We really enjoyed our "girls get together" at Folly Beach. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and beautiful. We do recommend a cleaning out of the kitchen cabinets, however. It looks like time for a "refresh" of that area.

This house has amazing views! Every bedroom had a view of the ocean. Numerous rocking chairs to sit outside and enjoy the view. The property had all the comforts of home! Great appliances in the kitchen with numerous dishes and utensils. I would absolutely rent this house again. My only complaint would be, not one of the bathrooms had ANY shade to cover the window. If people were on the other property on the deck they could clearly see into the master bath downstairs.

If you are looking for a beach house in the Charleston area, this is the best! Clean, accommodating to big groups, comfortable beds, lots of hot water, fully supplied kitchen. All of that is true, but that is not the best. It is the location, right on one of the most popular surfing beaches in the area. At high tide the water laps the steps, at low tide plenty of place to put up an umbrella and chairs or take a walk. A wide screened porch with enough rockers for your entire crew, and the natural TV screen of ocean, waves, sunrise and sunset, and surfers galore. All the Folly Beach bars, shops and restaurants are an easy 1 mile drive away… But you must drive a short distance inland and have an amazing seafood dinner at Lolo’s. 20 minutes beyond, and you are in historic Charleston and everything that has to offer. All our group wants to do is go back!

Wonderful beach house! SO many times there's a huge disconnect between the online photos and the actual house. Not here. The house was even better in real life. We had a group of twelve ranging from 18 months to 75 and everyone felt well-accommodated. The house manages to be cozy yet provides plenty of room to find some peace & quiet. Located pretty far up from the busy part of town plus there isn’t a house on the north side so very private and low-key. The row of rocking chairs on the deck became the favorite gathering spot for morning coffee while watching the early morning surfers. The waves were literally right below us at high tide. Then again in the evenings with our wine time while watching the kiddos enjoy the last of the daylight. House was extremely well-stocked; we cooked every evening and never lacked kitchen wares - even platters for cheese & crackers. We appreciated the little touches like night lights in the bathrooms and tons of extra blankets. Would book again in a heartbeat!

This was a great place to stay! It was perfect for our extended family. The house is large enough that we each had our own space. If you want to be close enough to walk into town, this is not the house for you. That isn’t important to us though, as we have little ones and would have to drive into town anyway. We really liked how well the kitchen was stocked as far as pots and pans, etc. It had everything we needed and more. Also, there were starter items (toilet paper, paper towels, etc.) which was much appreciated, as we didn’t have to run out as soon as we got there to go to the store. We all try to get together every couple of years and are already planning our next stay!

We loved the location, the beach access and all the outdoor space. The screen porch was especially nice with lots of rockers and a lovely ocean view. All bedrooms were comfortable and also had ocean views. The living room also had ample seating and the large dining table was useful for dining as well as game playing. Four full bathrooms and a downstairs powder room met all our needs. The elevator allowed for easy move in.

My family had a wonderful stay at Folly B'Golly. The home was absolutely gorgeous. There were flowers to welcome us. We were right on the beach just like we wanted. The screened in porch was my favorite spot outside and the dining room view was my favorite spot inside. We were close to downtown Folly and enjoyed a few hours shopping. The only thing we lacked was enough hot water for showers and washcloths. I already miss the breathtaking sunrises and the sound of the waves. All of us would love to return in the future!

This house was well equipped, clean and spacious. The rooms are nice and quiet and beds are very comfortable. Plenty of room for two families. Will definitely be back.

Great location and the views were amazing. So relaxing and plenty of room for the whole family! The house was well kept and clean. The only drawback was no pets. I would stay again if we could bring our family dog.

The elevator was tricky, but very helpful forour heavy bags! But everything else was spectacular! View is soooo worth it! Our group loved it. Loved the location, such a cute little town. The deck was amazing. If you are just staying in FB, rent a golf cart, if not then a car rental is best to go to Charleston.

There are many nice rocking chairs on the deck/porch area. A nice addition would be some beach towels and beach chairs but sitting on the deck was very pleasant as an alternative. The home is comfortable but a bit dated. They are making improvements, painting the interior etc., we’ll look forward to seeing more updates next time we visit. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of utensils and cookware. The owner and local Vacasa agent were both very friendly as well as approachable, easy to communicate with and very responsive to any questions or requests we had.

The house is very well equipped for any cooking and baking you want to do while staying there - we didn't eat out at all, cooked meals there. We also found a local fish shop that was great at giving us recommendations of the day's fresh catch and again, had all of the pots/pans needed. The linens and towels were well stocked, there were plenty of blankets for us all to enjoy the cool days on the porch. This property is literally on the beach - high tide came up to the steps. If you're into surfing, this is a popular spot for the local surfers too. We were more than satisfied with this house - we plan to go back again next year and the year after and the year after - you get my drift. At high tide you’re less than 100ft to the ocean so whether you’re just watching the surfers or running in yourself for a polar plunge, the outdoor hot shower is very close by. The house is really well stocked with anything you might need to make food and stay at home for meals. The town of Folly beach is straight down the road or downtown Charleston is around 20 minutes away. I would recommend this house. We’re already thinking about booking again for next year.
