We had a wonderful trip to Tamarindo! Nikki the owner available and communicative through the booking and arrival process. Aly, their concierge (an unexpected and amazing bonus!) helped us to arrange a number of excursions, drivers, golf cart rental, she was truly lovely and helpful all along the way. A very convenient location, there is a market at the end of the road for all your basic items. We also enjoyed being a quick golf cart trip to town and surfing and the short walk down the block to incredible sunsets at Playa Langosta Beach.

This property exceeded our expectations. The location was fantastic. Very close in proximity to the beach and the town. The amenities at the property were amazing as well. Inside had just about anything you would need. Beds were comfortable, the backyard, pool area was great. We rented a vehicle and the garage space was more than enough to store our rental SUV. The hosts were very accommodating and they offer a concierge service, Aly, who was able to set up numerous excursions and help with accomodations around the town. Great overall experience!

We booked this trip last minute with a group of friends, that are like family. We have visited Tamarindo for many years for the awesome surf, and good vibes that the town provides. We often times drove to Playa Langosta for the surf break, but with it's consistency, wanted it to be convenient. Casa Puesta Del Sol Villa 2 was beyond what we expected! Even before we arrived, the house manager made sure that we had everything we needed to make it a successful vacation, which included chefs cooking us a fabulous meal. They also booked our covid tests to be done right in the home! When we arrived to the fabulous location, it was a bit confusing getting into the home, but once that was dialed in, we instantly relaxed, and unpacked the boards to run across the road for an evening surf. Although the house doesn't have the open air kitchen and living like others we have stayed in, it has an expanse of windows that make you feel like you are in the lush, private yard, and easy access to the refreshing pool. There were plenty of comfortable, well appointed beds & baths for the group of 8. We had the third floor suite, and thoroughly enjoyed the ocean views and breeze. I practically didn't leave my perch! We can't wait to get back to Tamarindo, and will try to book this home when we do!

Our stay and experience here was amazing! Every part, from the property, to Aly the concierge, to Mikel and Leandro, to Nikki, each and every part made our first time in Costa Rica like a dream come true. And even when breakdowns happened, through no fault of them, (for example when the electric meter went out), Leandro stayed the day to make sure it got taken care of. Aly helped us so much in booking our adventures and ALL our transportation, and even our golf carts, and made it all so convenient. Since I was traveling with all my family (myself, my husband, my 19 year old daughter, 18 year old god daughter, 9 year old son, 2.5 year old daughter, the nanny, and my sister and niece came afterwards for a week), I had a lot of people to handle. However because the property was so great, and the staff helped out in whatever we needed, it made the stay so easy. The location is amazing! It's not in Tamarindo proper, so we were able to have peace at night. However it was close enough for us to jump on a golf cart and go wherever we needed to go and get there in 10 minutes or less. Even the big grocery store Auto Mercado, that's all the way across the other side we were able to get there in less than 10 minutes on a golf cart. I LOVED being able to go to everywhere in a golf cart. The rooms are cool with fresh AC air. The water is always reliably hot when we took showers. And the house was CLEAN. I always get a little nervous when I go to an VRBO because I worry the place will smell "humid" or like "mold" or "old" when the air hasn't been circulating. My family has asthma and these smells trigger them easily. However that was not the case at all here. The moment we walked in, we could tell the place has been kept very well, it was very clean, and my husband and son didn't have any asthma attacks. In fact we made a note how my son didn't have to use his inhaler not even 1 time. That's how dust free and clean the property is. Nikki was so kind and helpful and answered my questions and from this experience we are seriously looking to purchase property in Costa Rica. We are hooked. We want to live there, and we will. And it all started with this amazing experience we had at Casa Puesta Del Sol Villa 2. Thank you Nikki, Aly, Mikel and Leandro for giving us the vacation of a lifetime. We so appreciate it.

The home was gorgeous, safe and very spacious. I loved the home but I wish it would have been cleaner. This area of tamarindo is very dusty due to the winds and sand all around so the last thing you want to feel when you get home is more sand. Not only did the floors feel like they hadn’t been properly mopped even the counters had a film of dust. I swiped my finger along and it was black. Luckily the bathrooms were clean although I can’t say the same about tbe beds. My sister took the room in the top floor and she found hairs in tbe sheets and dirty spots too. Also don’t think it’s very safe tu have an orange extension cord in the middle of the second floor hallways along with a router wrapped around a door that is locked. We traveled with 2 toddlers and we were constantly worried about their safety. As far as the host and owner they were both attentive and helpful and the owner even helped me find a place to book our covid testing before returning back to the states. Over all the home was great I just wish it would Have been a little bit cleaner.
