looking for cutlery and glasses, but staff sorted that out with enthusiasm

Selection of drinks included as part of the all inclusive was quite good.

There was queues constantly at the bar which often resulted in us not bothering to get a drink due to the long waits. Service was pretty much non-existent. Staff in the restaurant and bar were constantly on their phones whilst we were made to run around searching for basic things such as clean cutlery in the restaurants. Food was ok but not much variation. Everyday it was burger, chips, pizza or curry for lunch and dinner. When we did have some basic questions the staff were pretty unhelpful.

The Chinese restaurant was very tasty...the show was very nice and the discotheque also.. Everything was exceptional

At the main restaurant it is nearly the same thing they cooked..they have to change a bit...

We had a very nice stay, with facilities that allowed all the members of our group to enjoy in their own way. Great variety and quality of food at the main restaurant. 24 hour drinks available. The main swimming pool was heated and spacious. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Kind and helpful service. Beautiful gardens and views.

We were not advised in advance on how to book a place in the Indian or Asian restaurants, which can be done via the RIU app. 24 hour snack bar was not open. Some extra activities that were advertised did not take place. We would have liked some local music and dancing at night.

no water available for shower or toilet all night and next morning. no apology from staff who didn’t seem very bothered on checkout promising only to pass comments to management.

The location is probably the best in the whole island. Amazing view, clean beach, clear water. The swimming pool was just 5 meters away from the beach. There were activities outside every day, including in the swimming pool. With everything included you could even do different water sports in the sea. The staff was very helpful and kind every time. Very nice people. Some of the staff volunteered to help me arrange a special occasion for my family. Absolutely amazing staff. There was entertainment every evening, with music every time. The hotel is spacious, plenty of areas, several swimming pools, different scenarios for every taste, such as beach, grass or swimming pool. The lobby and area around the bar inside is comfortable, and there are a few board games. At 6pm you can have peanuts in the bar to complement the beer. The food was good, a lot of variety, and there are 3 restaurants you can go to, the main one, an indian and an asian. Had tasty breakfasts everyday.

Although we spent an AMAZING time here, it is necessary to clarify that this is not a 4 star hotel, more like 3 stars. The main reason is the very old fashioned bedrooms, far from the feeling of the rest of the hotel. Not very comfortable/cozy. It's 2 star bedrooms in a 4 star hotel. Also, the room door key kept de-magnetizing every time I put it next to my phone, which made have to replace the card in the reception 4 or 5 times. And we had cold water in our bathroom in 2 of the days (both Saturdays). Another couple in a different room had the same issue. The power sockets didn't work well, we had to apply pressure using some weight in order to charge our phones. The Wi-Fi is horrible. No connection in a lot of places in the hotel, including the bedroom. I had to grab my laptop and come downstairs to the lobby to be able to send a couple emails. There is no food in the hotel from 3:30pm to 6:30pm (when the main restaurant opens), which was annoying. We had to take food from the breakfast everyday. The drinks, although it's all included, are very low quality. For example, the Capirinha is made with rum, a juice mixture and ice cubes. A mojito is similar, plus they use some plant that is not mint. Overall, all cocktails are prepared in about 5 to 10 seconds (not exaggerating). They don't taste bad, but they get old really fast The food in the main restaurant, although a lot of variety, it's very similar every day. It's impossible to eat there every day, twice a day, for a whole week. They should vary the main dishes more often. There's nothing to do between 5:00pm and 8pm (dinner time for us). The sun goes down between 5:30pm and 6pm, it starts to get cold and windy outside, so most people run inside to the lobby and bar. However, there's nothing to do! The entertainment at that hour is weak or inexistent.

the room was damp so staff exchange it but the room was very far from my child. After long discussion they changed to a closer room. I waisted 3 hours in check ins. when talk to staff, it’s not their problem. the food is repetitive, not all is fresh. staff doesn’t know what activities they offer, check online. staff should be more trained and have a smile while serving customers not grumpy. Rude answers, ask managers anyone come front say am manager. its not value for money
