We used this house for our family reunion fitting in three generations. It was spacious and the yard was absolutely amazing for the kids to enjoy. Had a lot of thoughtful extras that make traveling, especially traveling with kids, easier. It's hard to find a house this size that also has a dining space big enough for everyone. We'll be back!

Property was beautiful. House was spacious with a lot of amenities. Some of the items supplied...sugar, salt were empty. Barn on property was not fully unlocked for use but we made do with what was. Overall, the house & grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. Would definately book again.

Everything about the house was perfect. The inside space was set up just right: the kitchen was well stocked, there are plenty of bathrooms, and there are 2 dining tables - perfect for eating, conversation, puzzles and games. The outside spaces were amazing, the kids could safely run around on the grounds. The outdoor patio with a gas fire pit was lovely. We even used the dock, pond and canoe. Plenty of seating both indoors and out. We went to Hendersonville for a day. What a charming town, with plenty of shops, galleries and restaurants. Our multigeneration family had a fantastic reunion!

Our group of 6 friends from college, along with everyone's partners and children stayed at the white house for a long weekend. Even with 11 adults and 5 children the house never felt crowded. Each family was able to have their own space and crying children downstairs meant child-free adults upstairs could sleep without being disturbed. The house had everything we could possibly need for a long weekend together. The kitchen was well stocked with all the pots and pans and dishes and gadgets that we needed to make dinner every night for so many people. The first night we noticed a couple key items like salt and dishwasher detergent were missed and Rachael restocked them early the next day. The house is in a great location between the fun of downtown Asheville and the beauty of the mountains and hiking outside of town. The property is gorgeous with many acres of rolling hills, a beautiful barn and pond. It was said many times throughout the weekend what an amazing house and property we found to spend quality time together in, and the whole crew looks forward to coming back again in the future.

We loved this gorgeous house on a huge, gorgeous property. We did not have a wedding here, but had our wedding party stay here for a few days before the wedding. The house is really, really nice. There is a lot of space, tall ceilings, beautiful kitchen, patios front and back, a new barn-like structure set up for a reception, party, or dinner, and other amenities. The overall setting and grounds are really pretty as well. Highly recommended for any large group.

I could spend all day talking about how perfect this property is. First off, Rachael, the property manager was a joy to work with. So communicative and helpful and quick to respond. We had family driving in from Kansas to beat the bad weather the week of Christmas, and Rachael let them in the house 3 hours early so they wouldn’t just have to sit in their cars after hours and hours of driving! The house is HUGE. You can’t fully even grasp how big it is by the listing. More than enough room for our family, which has 12 adults and 13 grandkids. Multiple refrigerators were so helpful and the kids played in the basement the whole time! The land is just so beautiful- the kids enjoyed running around, swinging and checking out the pond. And spotting white squirrels (a new one for us!) Every detail is so thought out in this house and the finishes are so stunning. Our family members raved all week about the house and we felt so proud that we chose this for our family Christmas! Ingles grocery store was 5 min down the road which was SO nice. There are also 4 or 5 foldaway twin beds (I don’t know if these are on the listing) that we used for kids- every single person had a bed, there was nobody in the floor on a pallet! They even decorated for Christmas for us :) I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay. Thank you thank you!!

Our group of 7 couples traveled to Asheville for our bucket list Biltmore trip. This property was more than we could have asked for to accommodate our group. We may book another trip simply to enjoy the property more!

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Venue. From the well appointed home, to the comfortable beds, to the spacious common areas, to the kind and responsive property manager, and the outdoor spaces that were just perfect in the fall weather, we literally couldn't have found a more perfect place for our annual staff retreat.

Our 14 member family had a wonderful Labor Day gathering. The home was so spacious and provided plenty of room for private times and family times. There were 2 tables for dining. Also the dining table provided space for many fun games to be played. Grandchildren enjoyed walking and playing on the property. The 2 row boats on the pond were fun for the Grandchildren. We all enjoyed seeing the white squirrels scampering up the trees!!! The home is so private so it was surprising how close it is to restaurants and the grocery store. It is a beautifully decorated home!!!! We enjoyed our family vacation at this lovely home!!!! Our only complaint was no 13×9 Pyrex dish for our breakfast casseroles!!!!!

The country setting of the house was beautiful. The children enjoyed the swing in the yard. Unfortunately for a family of 17, the oven did not work properly. It was impossible to adjust the temperature correctly. Also the ice maker in the refrigerator was broken.. Overall, we had a very nice time and enjoyed our time at Mills River..

Our family of 15 enjoyed this beautiful home, with so many areas to spread out for those needing to work, play or just visit. The extra surrounding average was great for the kids, especially, and lovely for all of us. Everyone agreed it was a great choice !

We stayed as two families for our wedding weekend and it was a dream! We had an after the wedding brunch and the Venue was so helpful and accommodating. The home is stunning and the property is so fun for larger parties.

The property was beautiful and we so enjoyed having all of our family together to celebrate my daughter’s wedding. Memories of a lifetime!

There was more than enough room for everyone, all the amenities we could need (including a cabinet full of board games), and tons of outdoor space for kids to run around. Plus communication with the hosts was a breeze before and during the stay. We can't recommend it enough!

The property and home was perfect for our family getaway. The property is so peaceful and beautiful. There was plenty of space, beds, and bathrooms for all of us. The home had all the essentials, great beds, and was nicely decorated for the holidays. We really enjoyed our time and would rent the home again.

We had a big group of adults with high expectations and this did not disappoints!! Beautiful home, gorgeous setting, everything new and on point! Close to Airport, Asheville, hiking! Highly recommend! Set up for weddings, would be an incredible venue.

Traveling with friends and we all had a great time. There are plenty of beds and bathrooms to handle groups. We met the owner upon arrival and he was very nice and helpful. Check in was a breeze. We enjoyed the back patio area, but had to go refill the propane tanks right away as they were all empty. Not a big deal though.

Our group was blown away with the property and amenities this home had to offer. The decor paired with the spacious rooms made the PERFECT spot for us! We enjoyed it so much we changed plans around to spend more time in the house!

House was large, comfortable and exactly as described on the listing. It was well stocked and in a great, central location. We had a great time and got a lot of work done. We would rent this house again, for sure!
