Our family had a fantastic time visiting Glenwood and staying at Victory House. The house was very comfortable and welcoming and a pleasant walk to downtown and the hot springs. We will definitely stay again!

A great property close enough to sunlight ski resort for convenience, and a very short walk to Glenwood Springs. Would definitely stay here again.

I hate to give a less than perfect rating, especially since I never stayed at this property.
I had a situation come up where I needed to stay a few more days in the area. I only had 24 hours notice, and MUCH prefer a VRBO property to a hotel.
I searched on the app, this place was listed as available for the date range- so I booked it and got a confirmation email.
The next day at almost 4 pm( check in time) I didn’t see any communication about directions/address & code to get in.
I messaged through the app and got no response. I went to grab an early dinner and searched thru my ransom and happened to run across an email that stayed “ reservation cancelled”
There was no explanation, no way to reply
So I had to quickly find somewhere to stay.
I messaged thru the app again asking why my reservation was cancelled.
I got s reply about 24 hours later- I was told it was an issue with the VRBO app, which can’t handle bookings with less than 48 hours notice.
Ummmm what???
I book thru VRBO app every time I travel- in the past 10 months I have booked( successfully) at least 14 times. About 1/2 were a 24-48 hour booking.
Later that day I got another reply, and after about 4 hours of texting someone told me that their properties’ housekeeping can’t handle a less than 48- hour turnover timeframe.
The company is Evolve. They have over 30,000 properties.
In my opinion- I won’t book with Evolve ever.

This is a great place to stay! Walkable to all restaurants, the vapor caves, the hot springs, and three trailheads. It's also clean and roomy with a well-stocked kitchen, and communication was great with the owners. I'd definitely stay here again.

It was a very hot week in Glenwood Springs. There was air conditioning in the home- but only room units. We were very hot in the living room and kitchen. On the positive side the house is perfectly located to downtown. Kitchen well supplied with necessities.

Clear guest contact communication, prior, during and at the end of the stay. Extremely clean, comfortable house with a big kitchen for preparing and enjoying food. Nice quiet neighbourhood, just blocks from a variety of restaurants and services. Lots of options for relaxing in the living room, recreation room and three bedrooms, with a variety of bed sizes. Sufficient street parking and seating options outside, including a swing. All amenities were excellent: door lock, appliances, heating, wifi, shower. Perfect for a family vacation, with Glenwood's attractions all around.

This was a great place to stay in Glenwood Springs! It was super walkable to the downtown area with restaurants and shopping easily accessible. It was only a 5min drive from the Iron Mountain Hot Springs, as well. The house is well equipped and comfortable for a small group. The wifi isn’t great so it would be difficult to work from there, but for basic streaming and mobile use it worked well.

We came for Thanksgiving and loved the house. We had our dogs and really appreciated the enclosed front porch with dog bed provided. King bed in master was really comfortable.

My husband and I stayed in this house for a week. It's close to downtown - walkable. Plenty of space for others. Kitchen and dining area is very big. The bed we slept in was super-comfy. We enjoyed our time here.

Family fun in Glenwood
Our stay at Victory Victorian was great. We had our 2 grandchildren in the bunk room, their parents and us in the other 2 spacious bedrooms. Nice sized living room and kitchen. The house definitely has quirks due to it’s age

Nice historic house In Glenwood Springs. Nice kitchen. Only one bathroom. Tenant lives downstairs and sometimes noise is audible. Owner was very responsive.

The location was perfect- we walked to the Doc Holiday trailhead, as well as walked to browse downtown, which was super convenient bc finding parking isn’t the easiest in Glenwood on the weekends. The house was roomy and the beds were comfy and there were plenty of kitchen ware to make a Thanksgiving meal. What more could you ask for?!?

But, there is someone living in the basement, which we didn’t realize until the 2nd night when they came in through their separate entrance very loudly after the kids had gone to bed. There is a door that’s locked that separates their entrance from the rest of the house but given that we didn’t know anyone else would be in the house it was unsettling. Then the next night the tenant was playing music very loud past 11pm. I’d say as long you are aware of this extra tenant when booking I’d say the place is nice- a good size and close to downtown.

We enjoyed staying at the Victorian House in Glenwood Springs. We were celebrating grandson's 5th birthday on Friday with the Adventure Park and Saturday we went to hot springs. Both days were amazing. The house was clean and very comfortable for us.
