We had a wonderful stay in Fort Bragg. Even though it was stormy getting hear, it was well worth the trip from the Bay Area. The home is nicely layed out and the master bedroom was roomy. The other two bedrooms were nice size, each with their own personal bathroom. The game room was nice addition for young teen to sleep on the couch. The guest house was perfect size for 20 year old son. Our two dogs loved the fenced in back yard to romp and play. They had towels readily available to towel of muddy paws. I would definately stay here again.

It's confusing because the listing clearly says 5BR but then only in the fine print it explains that it's actually a 4BR + pull out couch.This is a pity, because an otherwise great stay was marred with an awkward situation where some folks in our group who were expecting a 5th bedroom with privacy had to sleep in the game room instead.

Great place to come and get some much-needed, rest and relaxation with the family. Property is very beautiful spacious with wonderful views and plenty of space for the family. We will definitely be coming back!

We absolutely enjoyed the spacious well equipped and well decorated property. We had a distant ocean view from the large deck and gazebo. The kitchen appliances were top drawer. The game room, bedrooms and dining room were all you could ask for. The only downsides were proximity to the highway, a broken front gate and intermittent internet (but who needs internet when you have a great sunset, a glass of wine and a great hot tub)!

Nice place but real issues with internet going down completely several times so I had to go into town to work

The large outdoor deck area provides a view of the ocean and relaxing view of the property. Many of the bedrooms have their own bathrooms which makes multiple family use very convenient. The game room is cozy with a very nice and comfortable sofa. There are really two areas for entertaining. Great for older children in one area and adults in the other. Would absolutely stay here again.

My family and I had a great stay for a few nights. Amazing location with a distant view of the ocean. Lots of privacy. The trail to the beach is really overgrown so that was unfortunate, but it’s just a short drive away anyways. There were some ants around the kitchen/bathrooms when we arrived (probably from the rain). The beds were not the comfiest but not super bad either - just felt a little worn. Hot tub was great. Everything was very clean. A little pricey for just the 4 of us but that’s a given with the location. Would definitely stay again.

The beds were comfortable, the kitchen-dining-living room area a great place to hang out, and the game room a real plus for traveling with family aged 2 to 75. The cottage was much appreciated by the couple who used it. There is an unusual odor, which none of us identified as skunk, and it didn’t bother the couple using it. The path to the beach was as described by others: overgrown, but usable for the young and fit. It is walkable to the beach going north on the highway briefly and then turning left into MacKerricher. It is only 2.5 miles into town, so easy access to supplies and eateries. We love Fort Bragg— many good restaurants, several markets, some fun shops as well as practical stores like hardware stores and drug stores. The property the house is located on is a delight... ocean view. Hot tub, nice deck, gazebo, pond, bridge and plenty of space for kids to throw a frisbee or kick a ball around. The kitchen is stocked pretty well. We live in the area and cook a lot, so we brought over a lot of equipment, but could have managed without it. We would lay out a couple of things differently— e.g. dishwasher is hard to unload and not accessible when someone is cooking; eating utensils are really hard to get at if someone is prepping food— but it’s all manageable. The property is close to the highway, but the noise is pretty minimal from most of the property. Wi-Fi was fine and we were able to stream Tv and music we wanted. The house was very clean; only issue was broken glass in the gazebo...floor and table had lots of tiny shards. The only thing we needed from the rental company was an interim trash pick-up and they were on it right away. Many thanks to all involved in making Beach Haven available for a great family gathering!

Very comfortable house, beautifully decorated, great info on amenities of house, next to McKerracher Park and Ocean. Has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths in main house, plus a game room that was a great bonus when family came by with kids and a separate cabin with a bed, own bathroom and small fridge. Really enjoyed the place.

So we stayed out of the in-laws house and enjoyed the front house. The property and view were amazing and Patty, the neighbor, was quite friendly and welcoming. There's plenty of space for kids to run and explore. I'd highly recommend the property.
