Great place for 3 couples. Spacious. Downstairs kitchen and bathroom were a great addition to the 3 bedrooms, kitchen and 2 bathrooms.

Property is a “lived in home” with needed updating

Family of 5 adults and one child. We enjoyed our stay. The furniture in living room and bedrooms was comfortable for 5. The kitchen table only sat 4. Lake was nice and easy to get to. House itself could have been cleaned better. Kitchen stocked better with more glasses, silverware, serving items. Ice maker upstairs did not work. We were given the wrong Wi-Fi code and that took a day to work out. House would be so much nicer if they painted a few walls and cleaned or replaced living room carpet and downstairs floor. And CLEANED it nester.

Overall a great home. However we had several issues from the moment we got onsite. First the code was wrong for the entry door. We were on hold with VRBO for over 45 minutes until someone answered. It took hours for anyone to arrive. There was a lockbox with a key up front and the back of the house. One had no key. The other had a key but not to this house. The one neighbors home is a dump and has trash everywhere. He even was walking around his yard with a shot gun one evening. WiFi directions did not work. This was mentioned several times by others and still not fixed. Views were awesome and a great space overall outside of these issues.

Overall the property was good and we had a great family vacation. The house could use a little tlc with a good cleaning to get rid of some cob webs. There could also be a better description of which dock goes with the property. We would definitely stay again.

Nice home on the lake, with basement with pool table and hot tub. Comfortable stay.

The unobstructed views every morning and spacious home would attract individuals from miles around. Still able to receive certain essential amenities(Instacart-unfortunately daughter and ex’s mother got sick day of trip). Lake was within walking distance As we were there to lay/spread our late Child’s’ father ashes on the ever-flowing Douglas Lake. As for the but…updating conveniences, providing essential amenities/toiletries within this spacious home would not only increase retention rates but may allow warranted increase of rental rates. Providing basic household items: salt/pepper, coffee/tea, bottled water (because ice maker did not provide ice) etc. Essential items to make the house feel like a home away from home. Provide a small welcome book (updated house code, accurate WiFi info, where to place trash etc). This ensures clear communication on cleaning prior to leaving and many other helpful things. Overall, bittersweet reasoning for rental, but overall enjoyed the space and views of TN in your back yard!

Renting the property was super fast and easy. Will be renting through this app again

We loved our stay at this property!! Awesome views in a nice e quiet neighborhood. We rented a boat from Swann’s marina and had a fabulous time on the lake. House was clean and comfortable could use some upgraded pots and pans but we made due. We will stay here again thank you!

We stayed with two families(our family and another family of 4) for Labor Day weekend. Based on other reviews we weren't sure what to expect. It was ideal for our two families. I wasn't clear if you had to go outside to get to the basement but that wasn't the case. Our teens enjoyed the downstairs and the parents enjoyed the upstairs. The dock was on the ground but apparently can be moved. We just trailored our boat daily. The lake was great. The place was very clean. There is wear and tear because it was built in the 80s I imagine. Decor was to a minimum which was perfect because there is less to break. One couple does get a better room with a king size bed and ensuite.

This is apparently a corporate property that lacks managerial supervision. We loved the view and the layout of the home!

We loved our stay at this house. It is in a great location. Waking up every morning to a view of the beautiful lake was so relaxing and I loved having coffee and meals out on the deck or patio. We even had some friends over to play pool. Absolutely wonderful and look forward to staying again.

We will be back sometime to rent again!

Overall, the place was great for our needs. The concern I have is the rental is beginning to show wear and tear, doors with holes, closet doors off the hinges, dock loose and floating. The photos are not as accurate as the rental would like you to think. The dock is NOT pictured and close to not usable if your boating. The one neighbors home is nice and cared for, but they don't seem real happy with rentals next door. The other side is a trailer covered in a mess of garbage and junk outside (man was very nice). Location was very good for us, quiet area with easy access to and from the public boat ramp.

Everything was nice and clean, but we never found the hairdryer or the remote control for the living room TV. The icemaker in the upstairs kitchen did not work, but there was plenty of ice in the downstairs kitchenette.

Very nice area, went to Gatlinburg, Dollywood and many hiking trails in the area. Only suggestion is to get some coasters. We used pieces of a soda box. We did leave an item if someone can get me the info to have it shipped back to me.

The house was amazing. It truly felt like a home away from home. The lake was drained but not to much. We had a wonderful and relaxing experience. And will definitely be booking again.

None of these are make or break situations but 1000.00 for a four day stay from a single Florida mom, I expect what I booked and it just didn't happen. I'd like to see a fire pit as well.

My family is from Florida and we have been to the Pigeon Forge area many times over the years. This was our first time staying in the Douglas Lake area and we wish we would have done this sooner! This home was perfect for my husband and 2 kids to sleep in the master suite with plenty of space for their bassinet and pack ‘n play, and the in-laws had a room to themselves. The downstairs area was perfect for the early risers to wake up and have breakfast and coffee without disturbing those still sleeping. Even a shower downstairs was needed! We wish the lake wasn’t drained at this time, but we know this is unavoidable. It gives us more of a reason to want to return to see it in the future! There is everything you need nearby with restaurants, stores, and gas stations but it was out of the way from the overcrowding that happens in the Christmas season. We were amazed that while our GPS recommended new routes into Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge each day according to the traffic patterns, and we saw so many scenic routes that we had never taken before! It seemed like we got into our favorite spots so much quicker without being in stand still traffic, even with about a 45 minute drive. We loved it! We’ll be back!
