It is a spacious apartment in a good location. The apartment doesn't have sea views, but the property is on the beach where we watched beautiful sunsets. Rebecca was friendly and made check-in very easy.

The gas for the bbq was empty and it could only be replaced the following day. Everything in the apartment was super clean except the bbq.

The TV was not playing properly. The duplex is close to the main road - noisy in the morning. No sea view from the apartment. Actually, there is no beach in front of the property.

The place was absolutely fantastic. Spacious apartment, with little pool perfect to cool down and bbq grill on the terrace. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and more! The residence was stunning, peaceful garden on the sea front with beds and pool. Exactly like pictures. There is parking or bus stop 3 min walk. Grocery aprox 10 min walk. The area around tamarind bay is just lovely with chilled vibes. Perfect spot in Mauritius to do hikes and beautiful beaches. Would definitely stayed again!

There were some ants in the kitchen, but is quite normal in the island from what I gathered. Just keep all food in the fridge. :)

Fantastic space, lovely layout and decor. Made for a very relaxing stay. The pool area is very nice. Good location in terms of proximity to shops and places to visit. Kind, friendly and accommodating host (Rebecca). Three good sized bedrooms, and two good bathrooms (one ensuite). Kitchen was well equipped, and all seating (kitchen, lounge & outside) was comfortable. We spent a month in Mauritius, and a week of it at the Latitude apartment. It was easily our best week of the holiday! Some reviews have criticised the view of the car park rather than of the sea. While it is true there is no sea view, I didn't feel it was a major problem. After reading some reviews I was a bit worried what we might have paid for, but can honestly say it was great value and we thoroughly enjoyed it here.

No air conditioning downstairs, so unless you sit directly under the big fan it can get warm. Even a standing fan would be a helpful addition. The plunge pool outside was so cold it was barely used. An oven glove would also be useful (using towels didn't prevent getting burned when removing trays).

Overall the place was great for the price. It was clean and the facilities was great, nice open space for the family with individual rooms. Would likely return.

The villa was so spacious, clean and a great location to explore the south of the Island. The shared pool was brilliant with a shallow section great for our 1yr old to splash in. unfortunately there isn’t really a beach (a small one at low tide) but gorgeous sunsets. There is a great little coffee shop down the rd and local supermarket. As well as local restaurants for take seats. We drive to Port Louis to get loads of fresh veg and fruit from the market for our stay.

although it had all the facilities and cooking utensils for cooking it would have been really useful to have some basic ingredients like salt and pepper, olive oil etc so didn’t have to buy them all and waste loads (I’m sure others buy similar so cld be nice to leave for others).

Place, amenities, location

Unfortunately when I arrived the security could not understand that I've booked an apartment because their English was very poor and I can't speak French. Afterwards the lady that showed me the apartment was not wearing a mask and even when I requested her to do so she still didn't, maybe she couldn't understand, not sure.

Huge spacious, quiet

9 pm neighbour complaining about noise due to karaoke. I know limit is 10 pm but we did not argue.

Well 😊 it away very pleasant stay at latitude luxury duplex the host Mr-Shakeel is very kind and flexible to our multiple requests with out arguments The villa well equipped with cosy,nice furniture that includes infant bed Very comfortable beds for all my family member More then what we need billows , blanket and towel Not like other hotels barely they offer one) We just felt like home really nice place to stay The sea is not suitable for swimming but it is stunning to set there and relax Of course with out any doubt the star of the place is 😍Rebecca 😍(villa manager)this is very warm heart lady , helped us in many occasions make our stay very very unique With her nice smile 😊 She will never says NO to assist or help if we need her We strongly recommend this duplex for a family who wants to relax and to be together away from noise and crowds There is small shopping mall nearby-supermarkets-great Indian restaurant At the end deeeep thanks ☺️ to Mr-Shakeel and Rebecca

Beach not suitable for swimming No much activities around

- The place is very clean, - easily accessible, - Close to nice restaurants and touristic spots - modern - very well equipped - Rebecca was very nice - The showers were not well fixed to the wall, so they got that fixed the same day. - We had two cars and they managed to find us another parking spot during the stay (thanks for that). - Bedding is great, comfy! (There's a third bedroom but it was locked, what if we were 4 adults and not 2 couples? Why lock the third one when we paid for the whole unit?) - small private pool, which comes handy if you don't want to go to the big one (but must ask for it to be cleaned if you want to use)

- No view from the apartment, if not for the tiny piece of blue you can see of the ocean - Definitely not seafront apartment and that is what we believed we were coming for, cause it's not said anywhere that the apartment is at the rear of the complex and all we had was a parking spot view (All 4 of us were misled with the first pic obviously) - Very noisy, there were works not very far from our unit and all we could hear was drilling and grinding. (thanks to Merouane, he asked if they could postpone their work and the next day no work was done). But when we booked, with the hectic everyday life, we thought we were gonna hear birds singing in the morning, wake up with a nice coffee with a seaview on the terrace of the apartment, read a book while enjoying this view or even braai and watch the sunset from our terrace and chill but we got none of this. All we could see from the apartment was the parking lot hidden by a bamboo curtain, and a teeny tiny peek at the ocean on the master bedroom's balcony. PLUS the noise from the road just behind the unit. It's literally just behind, so you hear all the buses, the motorcycles (even the guys with the bikes in the complex - what's with revving the engine every single time??) So, so much for our tranquil, relaxing getaway, far from everyday life! - There's an unpleasant smell coming from the sink's drains, so everytime you would open to use the bin, it comes up. - There's a camera in the lounge, the kind that would detect movements (which is useful when the unit is empty, in case of a robbery etc) but how about people's privacy? It's said that in common spaces of the complex there's cameras etc, but we weren't expecting one in the lounge. - The reaction when we first arrived and said that this wasn't the apartment that we were expecting, cause no seafront, no seaview at all. We had to deal with booking. If we were looking for cosy place w/pool, we would have stayed home.
