From the moment we arrived there was a calming feeling which embodied the exterior and interior of this beautiful home. Lee, our Host, has taken care of everything, leaving all of our needs met. He was also accessible during our stay. I highly recommend this property!

We had a great weekend stay at Hygge. It was exactly as described and loved the dock and paddle boards. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

My family and I wanted a chill weekend on the lake and this place was perfect. The place itself is comfortable and beautiful with a perfect view of the lake and sunset every evening. There are records and games and access to streaming services. We had so much fun with both kayaks and paddle boards and were able to spend so much time on the lake. This place is a gem.

We had so much fun staying at the hygge house. We had very little planned and the place was beautiful and enjoyable with not much on the agenda. Would absolutely stay again!

We We’re staying at the lake house while my husband was being treated down in Atlanta for cancer so our family drove up for the weekend to celebrate being over halfway done with treatment and to celebrate my 60th birthday the house could not have been more perfect it was everything we needed and more we are so grateful to leave for all his help and for offering the house for rent for people to enjoy it’s quiet and it’s healing ability thank you thank you thank you

From check in to check out this place was seamless. The host was amazing and even took my family out on his beautiful boat . Super clean , amazing views , great fishing off the dock as well! We loved it and can’t wait to stay again.

It’s always nerve racking booking a place online, but Lee’s Hygee House was perfect! What a great spot to have a house right on the Lake with a boat dock to accommodate your stay with any water activities. The little touches that Lee gives his guests were well appreciated! The place was clean, loved the kitchen and grilling deck (we cooked every night on it). The views are spectacular and the bedrooms were very comfy. I can’t say anything negative and would recommend for a anyone looking for a Great Lake vacay to rent this spot. Also, Lee the host was very quick with any questions or help and gave great recommendations for boat rentals, food and places to visit. Can’t wait to return to one of his properties soon!

It’s beautiful and very peaceful Interior is so cute and has everything you needed Only thing is check out time is 11 but maid comes 30 minutes early. But overall is great

Excellent communication with owner. House was exactly like in pictures and very well stocked with supplies. We enjoyed our stay and visiting the wineries and Tallulah Gorge state park. Highly recommend!

The Hygge House is just as described and shown in the pictures. It is a gorgeous house in a beautiful location with a great dock that is much closer to the water than many properties. The house was very clean. Lee was always available to answer any questions or address any concerns. We rented a boat and were able to easily dock it there, as well as use the kayaks and paddleboards. We had a great time and would look forward to returning.

We rented Hygge House for a boys trip with two dads and their sons looking for a chill relaxing weekend...and that is what we got. This house can accommodate a small group with it's 3 bedrooms, with 6 to 8 guests being the sweet spot. First thing, Lee was a great host, communicating with us from the beginning and through our stay he was there to answer any questions we had. The house is at a great location, I enjoyed the drive to get there. The last street is little more than a one lane road with so much character, I enjoyed that ride. There are enough things to do inside and outside of the house that kept everyone entertained. Lee has a great process going which will make everything from checking in to turning off the lights, seamless. There were 3 bedrooms 20 down and 1 up. One of the down room has a bunk bed, with carpet and enough space for the boys to lounge around. The other two bedrooms are well done with the top bedroom being an experience. We had no concerns about this place and appreciate that they had more than enough supplies to use throughout our stay. the boat dock and the deck was the best to wake up in the morning, have coffee, and see the fog rise off the lake. The fire pit was a hit and where we spent our nights. We had to learn how to clean a Green Egg grill, but that was not an issue at all. can't forget the hot tub, which doubles as a great picture taking area. The Hygge House was a great stay for father and son trips with friends. There is enough to do, both inside and out, great host, enough supplies, and great calm and quiet nature. We hope to return soon.

On a quiet cove with a very nice dock and water toys for use. Very peaceful and relaxing. The driveway is very steep so don’t plan on taking a trailer down there but there is trailer parking on the street. Overall, will stay here again for sure!

This is the best rental house and experience I have ever had. The house is extremely modern and very clean. It has an exceptional lake view. We rented a boat for the week and also enjoyed Lee's kayaks and paddleboards. The three bedrooms are all very nice - and the upstairs Master has a great Master Bathroom. Lee is a great host. Very responsive and helpful. He answered every question very quickly and made sure we had a great stay. You won't be disappointed in this property and host!!
