This home was very welcoming, the owners provided some fresh fruits and other goodies in the refrigerator which made us feel special. The location is excellent. Zion is right there and it was easy to come and go every day. We were meeting relatives who are staying at an RV park right around the corner and the owners were very open to letting us have them at the house during the day. Our only dilemma was, there wasn’t a chair that I could actually use. I have a bad back, and I am disabled and there just wasn’t any comfortable seating for everybody. I would definitely recommend this home though to anyone visiting the area.

The house was awesome. Very nice and clean. The owners went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. Books about he area were very helpful and the house was equipped with everything you need. My kids favorite part was relaxing at night after hiking and listening to the record player. Neither one had ever seen one so it was a big hit. I would recommend staying here to anyone

This is a very nice place, comfortable, well-equipped, super nice hosts. There are many many details we liked. They found a perfect way of letting us feel they are available if we need them but at the same time we never felt they are on the same property. Quiet and efficient air-conditionig. We explored the different parts of Zion National Park and the location was very good for that! Will definitely recommend to our friends and hopefully we will come again too despite the long travels from Germany! Thank you Shane and Alicia!

We have stayed at some very nice VRBOs, but this is one of the very best. Shane and Alicia’s attention to detail is incredible: the place is perfectly clean, the decor is charming and beautiful, and they provide everything a guest could need. The location is perfect for Zion, the town is quiet and peaceful, and is located near great restaurants and coffee houses. If we ever come back to this area, this is where we will stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very welcoming and comfortable, made more so by the nice local baked goodies and fresh eggs that the hosts had placed there for us upon arrival. The place appears to be all new or recently renovated, with lots of attention to detail in the workmanship and furnishings. The hosts were very responsive and polite, including giving us some tips on getting the most out of our visit to Zion NP. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and relatives planning to visit the area!

Comfortable home with outstanding hosts who welcomed us with provisions and Mother’s Day Flowers. Close enough to Zion so commute to park, dinner and groceries wasn’t an issue. The kitchen and laundry is well stocked and organized. The home has two well appointed bathrooms but only one had a shower.

Clean, homey, and charming! My family and I checked in to an immaculately clean property with 2 beds and 2 baths. Alicia and Shane went above to ensure our stay felt homey by giving us some homemade cookies and bread. The neighborhood felt safe, and there was even a friendly neighborhood cat that came to visit us once in a while, right outside the property. There is a good amount of privacy; the owners live upstairs and have a separate driveway and entrance, so we only saw them a couple of times if we ran into them outside. They were friendly! However, we did hear footsteps at night sometimes. If you’re a light sleeper, this might bother you. Thankfully, we brought earplugs. In terms of amenities, we had everything we needed, including wifi, detergent, coffee, eggs, pots and pans, and more!

My wife and I stayed at Shane and Alicia’s beautiful home and enjoyed every minute. Check in was super easy and the home was stunning and spotless. It was the perfect location just outside of the hustle and bustle near Zion. They were super accommodating and hospitable. Would absolutely recommend their home for your trip to UT!

One of there nicest VRBO stays we have ever had— and probably the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed anywhere. Great, friendly hosts and a lovely, well-equipped, plant-filled home with eclectic furnishings in a sweet, little town. Don’t hesitate.

This unit is very spacious and clean and located in a very quiet area. The stars in the night sky were amazing. The baked treats provided by the hosts were delicious. The beds are very comfortable. It was a short drive to Zion Park. We would definitely stay here again.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Shane and Alicia’ sweet log home. The beds were very comfortable as well as the living room furniture. The place is so cute with beautiful plants everywhere and very clean and tidy. I indulged in a bubble bath in their lovely claw foot tub and even the shower was amazing. The kitchen was well stocked and we grilled outside one evening. After arriving after a long trip, it was great to have a refrigerator stocked with eggs, bread and butter. This meant we didn’t have to worry about breakfast the next morning. There was even a canister filled with chocolate chip cookies and a homemade banana bread. The place was really pleasant inside and out. Somehow we lost the house keys and Shane immediately came to our rescue! He was such a friendly host! My friends and I highly recommend a stay here.

We loved this property and we loved the hosts! They thought of everything. It was beautiful, spotless and the location was great! Beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pans, etc. Anything you would need. I recommendation this property! I have stayed in many wonderful VRBO properties and this by far is my favorite.

If I could give this property a 10 out of 5, I would. The hosts have created a property that feels like home. Alicia and Shane and super great hosts and have created a wonderful getaway near Zion. The place is decorated really nicely, has all of the equipment you need, and was really clean. One of the best VRBOs I've ever stayed in. It's a short drive to Zion, so it makes for a great place to stage your adventures there and then come back and relax in a nice environment. Their WIFI works great. Verizon has poor cell service there. Would definitely stay here again.

A great space for a small family or two couples. The property had a nice layout and was full of light during the day, despite being a downstairs/basement apartment. The apartment was exceptionally clean - it was the cleanest VRBO we’ve ever stayed in! Kitchen was well-stocked and host was fantastic. Virgin is a beautiful little village in a gorgeous area - just a 15 minute drive from Springdale/Zion and within reasonable driving distance to Grand Escalante.

This house is only 20 minutes from both the main entrance of Zion and the Kolob Canyon entrance of Zion. It felt perfectly located for our family of 4. We have dietary restrictions (tree nut allergy and celiac), so we always look for a place to rent with a kitchen so we can cook. This kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook for all 3 meals and not run out of essentials. I have never rented a house where people have lived close before and I was super hesitant and almost backed out. I am so glad I didn’t!! The owners were kind, considerate, welcoming, but not intrusive. You knew they were there, but barely. They got us started with food and coffee, and had all the basics covered plus some (towels, extra shampoos, first aid kit, sugar, flour, teas). With how the shuttle system lottery is, this is the perfect house location wise to be able to explore either the other side of Zion, or adventure to other beautiful areas as well. Cant recommend it enough!

We had a great time staying here while visiting Zion. The check in was super easy, and every detail in the home had been thoughtfully curated. We ran into and met Alicia one day while we were leaving, and she graciously gave us some true insider knowledge. While the family does live above, you could never tell and they will completely leave you be. We felt like we had our own home. Looking forward to coming back here and spending some more time in Southern Utah!

She is wonderfully cheerful and very helpful with information about local restaurants and trails. The kitchen was excellent and perfect for my family who likes to cook meals when we are on vacation. Everything we needed. We cooked on the outside grill and ate at her picnic table one night. Very pleasant evening The bedrooms were roomy and beds comfortable. Washer and dryer came in handy and worked very well. The living room is roomy and attractive. Overall, a great location and my family was very pleased with our stay in Virgin. I would highly recommend staying here.
