Our annual ladies excursion was a blast! The beds were comfortable, Perfect bathroom arrangement. Only issue, tricky oven and stove (luckily one of us decifered)😀 and dinners were successful.

The house is very well Located. Tons of space. We managed to create family memories but the house is dire need of maintenance. Refrigerator leaks, kitchen sink faucet broken, door hinge broken, tvs not working, toilets are loose, screen porch broken. Cleaning crew does not do a good job. Grease and dust on lamps in kitchen and dining room. Vacasa responded to our calls but were not able to fix anything but a Roku on the big tv. Not worth the money but we travelled 10 hours so we tried to do with what we had

This was a fun space for a large group. Great open floor plan, carport below house had a swing and pingpong table and was great for kids to run around, and a huge upper deck was a wonderful place for communal meals. We loved it!

Pros: The house was very conveniently located to the beach. Each bedroom having it's own bathroom was a very nice feature of the home. The main room was comfortable and nice for our party of 13 for meals and games. Every day we had a family of deer in our yard which was a big hit with the kids. Cons: Home needs some basic maintenance, screens are torn, wood deck has nails sticking up, toilet needed repair upon our arrival. We did have (3) very large cockroaches in the bedrooms during our stay, none in the kitchen or any other area.

We had a great time. Property was clean. A lot of room downstairs for parking and games. Kids enjoyed playing ping pong. Plenty of parking for our cars. Very convenient to marina and beach. Lots of room for sitting and eating upstairs. Would highly recommend this property for large groups.

The design and bed rooms and having 4 bathrooms was wonderful.

Sonshine is located on the quiet side of the island and it makes for a perfect family getaway. It is a short walk to the beach and is right on the bike path. This home has an absolutely amazing porch, a fun kitchen to cook in and a wonderfully large gathering area/living room space.

We had a great week at Sonshine. It was well stocked all throughout, and our group thought the king and twin beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were plenty of books and games to keep us busy on our one rainy day. There were also a few adult bikes down under the house. They have seen better days, but having them was a fun bonus and allowed for a few evening bike rides. My largest concern was the state of some of the deck boards. Our crew is used to worn decking on beach houses, but some of the areas were soft with rot, not dangerously, but I would hope to see those replaced very soon. We would definitely rent again!

The property was located right off of the beach and was very nice inside. The local office was very helpful during Checkin. However, the lights underneath the house itself only worked in one area which made it hard to see coming back from being out at night.

Sonshine sits on a corner lot between two beach accesses, take your pick. Nature abounds, we enjoyed the many songbirds and deer roaming freely in the neighborhood from the comfortable screened in porch. The bike path runs directly behind the house for easy access. The house was well appointed for the most part, however two hand mixers with NO beaters and not one spatula but eight pairs of tongs was a challenge, but we made do! We will probably book again though next year we'd like to be directly on the water.

Loved the size and kitchen

We were very surprised by the size of this home. The high ceilings in the main room make it feel so open, while the two sitting areas were each very inviting. Perfect for accommodating kids and adults. The dining table is awesome! We enjoyed playing games there. The large porches filled rocking chairs and a swing was our location of choice for morning coffee. The kitchen layout is slightly restrictive to one or two people, but you get used to it quickly. The remodeled bathrooms were amazing and beautiful. It was great that the house included a hammock, swing, grill, ping pong table, and even some bikes! We usually pack a hammock and grill, so it was nice not to worry about those items. We bring bikes as well, but didn’t have enough for everyone, so finding a couple of spares made everyone happy. The house is a very short walk or bike to the beach access, and you can use the bike trail to avoid the busy road. We are torn about leaving our dogs at home again next year, but if we do, we would definitely keep booking Sonshine house.

Very spacious, bathrooms for each bedroom

Big bang for the bucks. Spacious accomodations for our large group of wide age-span group. Beautifuly laid out open floor plan. Master Suite shower was amazing! Close proximity to Beach Access. Not too far from stores/shops/restaurants. Stairs on front and back of house were a little too widely spaced apart for us with little ones and older folks with walking canes. House was God-send for much needed Family Vacation to start our Summer off nicely! 😁👍💙⛱️🏖️

Military biker group that stayed at the house for a long weekend. Everything just as advertised. No surprises. Check-in super easy. Awesome parking for all bikes under covered drive-in. Nice large common area and fantastic screened front porch

Walking distance to the beach. The house was super nice, clean, and big enough to accommodate a large family.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! Loved the large living space and table, even better than in the pictures! Despite the somewhat chilly weather, it was great spending time out on the incredible porch with a view of the ocean.

Great location (towards end of the island), nice layout of the house including the large/open family area. We enjoyed playing games and cards on the large table inside along with sitting out on the screened in porch and sun deck in the afternoons.

This year our needs included extra space in the living area for our 3 toddler grandchildren. Sonshine did not disappoint! Not only did the children have space to play, we had plenty of space to sit!
