The apartment was big. There were 4 adults in our group, and on our last day we realized that we really hadn't used the front half of the place at all. It's about 3 blocks from an L train stop, and 1 block from 2 bus stops. Fairly easy to get to and from. It's a 4 floor walk up, so if you can't handle stairs this isn't the right place for you. We had a blast though. Super clean, really nice hosts, and my shower was hot with great water pressure.

Had a great stay exploring and enjoying the Windy City! Condo provided great views of the city! Only a quick Uber or train ride from downtown we were able to experience a TON of fun things! Chicago was fun. Condo was a welcoming place to relax between adventures

Our group of six adults had a fantastic weekend! We enjoyed hanging out on the balcony for coffee and then taking the L downtown to the loop. One note is to read the listing completely— this property has three bedrooms, which sleep 6 — any remaining people would have to sleep on air mattresses or the (very comfortable) couch. Thanks so much for a great weekend!

Very spacious and clean condo just outside of downtown Chicago with good access. Communication was good and we appreciated the efforts to make the check in process as easy as possible. We would recommend this stay to anyone that is okay with the 4th floor location- we did not mind the stairs at all.

Arrived property where streets and all yards around were littered with trash. Disgusting neighborhood. Then opened lockbox to retrieve key to enter building…no key in lockbox. Was cold outside and stood outside for nearly 20 minutes before someone else in the building let us in. Tried calling host and did not respond for a while and didn’t even call back, just sent message to tell me where spare key was and that previous guests left original key on top of mantle. How did the cleaner get in? How did they not notice key wasn’t in lockbox? Got into place and found pubic hairs on toilet, dishes were dirty in dishwasher and beds were uncomfortable. I was embarrassed, as I was the one who rented this place for a family trip. I am a superhost for my own properties and this was filthy. Would not recommend. The host even asked me to leave him a positive review, which would be dishonest if I did.

The space, amenities, and location are all largely as described. What is not described is that it is a 4th floor walk up. I did not ask, and will always ask about that kind of access before any future booking anywhere. The owner was responsive in communication. The art is abundant and lovely, but made me slightly nervous about apparent value. There is a large high window in main bedroom that cannot be covered, so light shines in on the bed at sunrise. The balcony is small and shabby. There are rules like quiet time starts at 9 that are also not in the listing. Fine with us, but seems like rules should be in listings too.

This is a nice large property that has plenty of room for several guests at a very reasonable price. The four of us were quite comfortable here for a quick two day visit to Chicago. Lots of good restaurants, etc. within a reasonable walking distance of the apartment. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

This stay was 4.85 out of 5 stars. I definitely would say make sure you read through all messages that are sent out to get access to the property. I missed the first few messages which caused us about an hour delay from being able to enter. The communication was a little delayed at times, but usually I got an answer before the end of the day. The room is on the fourth floor, so just realize you will get a workout in going up the stairs. By the end of the stay I felt like Rocky making it to the top of the stairs without being out of breath. There was complimentary water in the small fridge in the living room. We had almost everything needed for a comfortable stay. I felt spoiled with how central the location was as well as having access to Amazon Fresh and instacart, which i don't have access to at my house. the only reason I said a 4.85 out of 5 star is because of the delayed responses, other than that everything was great.

Very nice condo. Yes, there are a lot of stairs, but it wasn't a big deal or any issue for us. Host was responsive when we asked questions. I didn't realize there were so many locks on the front gate and didn't know where to enter the front door combination to get in. I was glad someone else in my group was able to figure it out when I became too frustrated. Condo smelled nice, was very clean and inviting. The ice maker in the fridge was broken/completely ripped out and the fridge door flops open and hits the wall when not handled carefully. I was very pleased there was a Keurig type coffee machine, but wished there were instructions for how to use as it took some trial and error to figure out how to work it. Condo was spacious and quiet. Great location for visiting the Shedd Aquarium or Field Museum. Right on a train line so both convenient and noisy, but not interruptive. Many spices available in the kitchen and a variety of soaps and shampoos provided in the showers. There were bath towels and washcloths, but no hand towels in the bathrooms which was odd. There were a number of paintings leaning against the wall rather than hung up and some fixtures missing in the bathrooms and cabinet handle missing in the kitchen. Street parking was free and easy to find. Beds were very comfortable. Great Wifi. Dishwasher and washing machine/dryer in the unit was a plus! We would definitely stay here again.

This was an amazing apartment in a great neighborhood. It is much larger than the pictures present. And the view from the back deck of the city lights at night was beautiful. The kitchen is quite large with plenty of seating and was so great for our family to gather for morning coffee and spending time together. Your group does all need to be able to climb stairs though as there are plenty of them. We loved the place and would definitely come back.

Ideal geographic location with easy access to United Center. We used Ubers to get downtown, an affordable and efficient process. The apartment is initially pleasing with lots of room and bright light. Missing in this property are the details. Many shortcomings could be addressed inexpensively and the improvements would be significant. Any bedroom set up for two sleepers should have two nightstands with two lamps. All rooms should have trash cans – we did not have one in the main bathroom, nor in the bedrooms. The master bedroom does not have anywhere to hang clothes. Adding an inexpensive clothes rack would add a great deal to that room. The master bathroom door does not close, which can be problematic. The shower knob in the main bathroom is difficult to turn. It would benefit from an adjustment. The knobs on the gas stove are dangerously loose and difficult to adjust. We left the burner on for several hours as the knob showed “off” but the gas was still burning. We liked the big, bright kitchen but were disappointed by the absence of useable cookware. We found one pot with an ill-fitting lid. That was it. We were also surprised not to find pepper and saltshakers, a basic in any kitchen. Paper products should be part of all VRBOs – plastic wrap and foil wrap are essentials. Few guests travel with those in hand, and they are inexpensive for hosts to provide. The television remote in the kitchen/dining area did not have a battery in it. We bought a battery but then found the television does not work. That was disappointing as we spent a great deal of time in the kitchen/dining area and would have liked to have watched the news. We had a party of 3 and so bath towel numbers were okay. If guests had a full house, towel numbers were insufficient. We also noted few spots for hanging damp towels. The addition of towel racks in both bathrooms would be a good idea. We are all fit and able and managed the stairs relatively well, although suitcases were a bit of a challenge. I would recommend potential guests consider the location of this rental – there are 66 stairs up to the fourth floor. It is no small feat making the climb, especially with luggage and groceries. Beds are comfortable and well appointed. Good sheets, covers, and pillows. Overall unit was clean although a deep cleaning in the kitchen is in order. Lots of debris in drawers and in shelves. Our host Nosa was responsive to any questions. We appreciate that.

Good location, but the property has had heavy use. Knobs on the stove were loose and improperly sized. Bathroom door didn't close fully. Parking space at rear was undersized for a full-size SUV. Overall, however a decent place for visitors who spent most of the time out of the property.

This is a charming west side getaway with all the amenities of a modern home. This property is very clean spacious cozy and safe with free parking and all of Chicago within miles. Highly recommend this property.🥰

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. Location was great for both the bus and L train. The pictures don't show how truly large the condo is. All 5 of us had plenty of room. On street parking was a little tricky but we were able to find something eventually.(large concert going on at the giant park across the street). Owner very fast to respond to any questions we had during our stay.

The condo was clean and comfortable. The location was great for our event at the United Center. It was also great having so many eating establishments nearby. The patio is great for hanging out and seeing the city. Cannot say enough about this place. Thank you, can’t wait to come back.

My kids LOVED this apartment. We were all very comfortable and felt very at home here. Beds were comfortable, location was great, and easy to navigate to. Owner was very nice, accommodating, and very easy to work with! Would highly recommend this apartment to others!

The apartment is very nice. Plenty of room for the 6 adults who stayed there. Pet friendly, but be ready to get your steps in! Its on the 5th floor with stairs that seem to go on forever. The apartment was clean and nicely stocked. Plenty of parking on the street. The only hitch is that during sporting events, you need a permit to park on the street. 2 permits are provided, so if there are more than 2 cars, be ready to park them somewhere else. Within 1 block from the United Center. We will definitely stay there again when we come into town to see the Blackhawks or Bulls.

This place was great. My wife and I and 3 kids came to town to see a Bulls game. You can walk to the game and avoid traffic. The apartment is clean and the manager was great to communicate with. I highly recommend it!!

Overall the condo was okay. Great location. Not easy access so would not recommend for anyone who would have a hard time climbing stairs. Needs a good cleaning in cupboards, under kitchen sink, and refrigerator. Bathrooms were clean enough but faucets need maintenance. Our host was more than nice. Easy fix to all above.
