This was the best accomodation i stayed at for the 3 months i travelled around Italy , the rooms were 5 star and the location was perfect to visit the old town of Matera. I will definitely be back and confidently recommend this place to all my friends and family.

Clean, well located, nice decoration, super friendly staff with excellent restaurant recommendations, everything feels like it’s newly renovated, and the smell of their home made pastries in the morning is an outstanding way to start the day!

Lovely stay in Matera! Antonello was very helpful and friendly with information and suggestions for our stay in Matera. Location was great, short walk to the Sassi, and great breakfast and room presentation/facilities. Would definitely recommend Maison !

Really friendly service and we were given lots of information and tips about the city which were well worth following. Our room was clean and we were upgraded for free, breakfast was also delicious and there was a lot to choose from. Shout out to Antonello who met us early for check in and was really friendly and welcoming. The location is also really good, the Sassi is about 5/10 mins walk away.

Everything was perfect! The location was great. The room was incredibly clean and beautiful. The parking was just outside the building. The stuff was very nice and helpful. I would return anytime!

Location was very good, literally 2 mins walk from the station, which was good with a heavy suitcase .The old part of Matera was around 5 mins away. My room was as described and very comfortable and quiet. Clara and her husband were very helpful with advice and very attentive hosts.

Excellent location a few meters from Bus Arrival Point and 2 blocks from the center of activities , restaurants, shops etc. The breakfast was superb. Excellent food quality and very kind service . Owners were very diligent and always willing to help with information, a quick ride etc. Thank you Antonello and wife...!

Nothing. It is just perfect.

The property is ideally situated a couple of minutes walk from the railway station and bus station. There is no lift but you are met at the door and your luggage is carried upstairs. The room is extremely clean and modern. The bed is very comfortable with lovely cotton bedding. There is a fridge with a bottle for you to fill with water as you can drink the tap water in Matera. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. It is just a short 5 minute walk into the old town and the sassi. I won’t hesitate in booking this hotel again when I visit Matera.

Just minor things: there was no coffee in the room and the floor was a bit too cold due to the lack of carpets.

If you're looking for the perfect place to stay in Matera, look no further! The location of this hotel is unbeatable, with easy access to the city center and all the main attractions. But the real standout feature of this hotel is the staff. They are incredibly polite and professional, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The room itself was neat, cozy, and well-appointed, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. And the breakfast? Oh my goodness, it was absolutely delicious! I've stayed at a lot of hotels in my travels, but I have to say, this was hands down the best breakfast I've ever had. All in all, this is a must-stay place if you're visiting Matera. I can't recommend it highly enough!

What an amazing place! Everything was exceptional; warm welcome from lovely staff, useful information they shared with us, clean and well designed room, comfortable bed, great internet, Everything was great! The location is perfect as well, just across the station and at the beginning of the pedestrian street that leads to sassi.

Really nice experience. The room was comfortable, the location is practical (close to the station and to the Sassis). But most importantly, the team is really nice, welcoming and extremely helpful. They even helped me see a doctor and helped with the translation and waited during my appointment. The overall quality of the service is unique.

Everything was amazing. The room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast absolutely delicious, and the staff we so helpful, they even took the time to go over a map of the city with us, highlighting things to see and places to eat. If I take another trip to Matera, I will definitely say here again.
