It was very clean and newly refurbished. The staff was kind and helpful. The location was fine.

In spite of the room being nicely decorated, it was small with useless bedside tables without a flat surface, which makes it difficult to keep things on top. Also, the bathroom was tiny. We are not very big ourselves and found the shower very uncomfortable, and there were no surfaces where to put things on.

Piedra de Luna is a very cozy place. It has comfortable rooms, it is quiet, the cleanliness is outstanding and the location is fabulous. It is just 3 mins away from the center and the staff is very helpful and attentive. I had something to be delivered to my room and they follow up on that and made sure I had it in my room upon my arrival. On my checkout day I left some personal items behind and they immediately contacted to see how to see how they could help me to get them back. The overall experience exceeded all my expectations and definitely Piedra de Luna is a place I would come back on my next visit to Mérida.

Beautiful renovation amazing facilities! we stayed in the terrace room, and it was superb! Super Clean nicely decorated, the staff was friendly and helpful a place to go back!

Decoration. Location is ok, not an attractive street, but about 10 minutes walk from main sights.

Here function is compromised for beauty and that is not a wise decision if you like to sleep and shower comfortably. We had room 4. Initially you admire the tasteful decoration of building and room. Until you find out that it is not practical at all. The room could easily fit a 160-180 cm wide bed. Instead a 140 cm bed, way too small for two adults’ comfortable sleep. Bathroom is too small. Shower cabin walls unnecessarily too tightly placed. Sink bowl design leaving no space for toilet bags. To top it off, not soundproof at all, leaving you with noise from neighbours, especially from their bathrooms.
