Really great location with a view to the lake Peipsi and the villages of Kolkja and Varnja close. Lovely breakfast and nice people (staff) who chat about things happening around there on villages. Also, they were very kind to receive us late at night, even though I forgot to pay attention to the check in time that was hours and hours earlier. Very helpful crew.,

It was an extremely hot day by Estonian standards (+32 C), so sleeping was a bit complex. Year ago, I would have suggested the guesthouse to invest in air-conditioners, however, bearing in mind current energy prices… let it be, we can survive.

Nina Cordons guesthouse is located directly at the Lake Peipus. If offers bicycle and boats which makes the stay very convenient. The breakfast is great and the host was super friendly and always in a good mood. It is interesting to live in a house which ones was a school. If you are an early bird (and also if you’re not;)), the sunrise is beautiful!

In summer there are lots of insects, they want to come into the room, but this is nature - if you travel at a lake, you will find them everywhere. Lake itself doesn’t seem to be very clean, we didn’t see garbage anywhere but the water didn’t seem inviting for a swim. Again - this has nothing to do with the hotel itself.

We received the most friendly and personal welcome! Facilities were better than expected and friendliness exceptional.

I kind of liked everything, exept the stairs but this is my personal problem. We could use the fridge to keep our food and drinks cold and as I am gluten and casein intolerant I had some staff with me. We could use the kitchen to make food if we wanted(of course one has to clean afterwards!), we could make coffee or tea whenever we wanted... Breakfast was plentiful! and I got my porridge with oatmilk! I even got glutenfree bread! Facilityes were clean and beautiful(antic style), staff was extremely friendly, you could feel very welcomed and warm!

🤣 weather of our second day was awful 😂 it rained and rained from eight in the morning till ten at night, but it is a joke as you understand

On request about aditional bed for child I receive answer trough Booking.com: it's free of charge, but after four hours another answer: price is 25 eur. Someone changed his mind:)

The people who work at the hotel are very nice, friendly and helpful. The front desk lady is amazing, and the lady at the kitchen is very sweet as well. The location is great, right next to the lake. The breakfast room is unique, and has a medieval feeling. We also enjoyed bicycle riding around the village.

Fantastic location and breakfast. Near Alatskivi, the Onion Road and right on the shore of Peipsi. The breakfast had fantastic porridge, pancakes, herring, etc

It was hard to sleep on a hot summer night. The blue room had no AC (though I hear it's coming soon). The two windows were both in the same wall so airflow was poor. Open windows then led to flies bothering us.
