Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A nice property with very good location. We had a very nice stay overall. Just a few points to note:Heating: There were no instructions on how heating was controlled. We could not figure out the upstairs heating at all. Nor could we control it. The downstair heating was mainly from the fire place which we could not leave on when we went out. By the time we got back, it wads cold again. There is only 1 heater vent close to the dining room which doesnt heat the living room much.Supplies in the kitchen - Please provide a bit more spices in the kitchen. All we got was salt, pepper and coffee and sugar. There was no oil either.Shoveling - Guests like us who have never lived in snow were asked to shovel and clear the driveway. Atleast have a snow machine that can be used to remove so much snow. For those of us who cannot physically do it, it will be easier.Downstairs bathroom - the bathroom next to the living room had some issue with the window or something. It was freezing. We could not use it at all. Even the room with the bunk beds was freezing.

The house was perfect for our group. Check in was easy, house was as advertised, and was in a perfect location. It is a little older, but don't let that fool you. Plenty of room to move around. THANK YOU !!

Was easy to find, easy to get in. It was spacious enough for us and we loved it. Need some bars on the fridge doors but overall we had a great time!

We had a wonderful time at the Pine Cone Cottage. It was a rustic cottage, as described in the website, but that was appealing to us more than a modern home would have been. It had everything we needed for our stay. We had two families, one with very young children, so it worked well to have 2 of 4 the bedrooms at opposite parts of the house. The house location was great, as it was walking distance to the beach, a playground, and restaurants... The only thing I can think of as a negative was that the wifi signal in the bedrooms off of the kitchen was pretty weak so it was hard to use wifi in those bedrooms. But stepping out side those rooms was all it took to get a good signal, so it wasn't a big problem.

I did not find certain rooms to be very clean. In particular, the upstairs bathroom had a moldy smell. Lots of dust on the coffee table and walls. Also, please fix the drip in upstairs bathtub faucet. Not cool to see water being wasted during a drought.

This was a good setup for two families. Two rooms upstairs and two rooms downstairs. The queen bedroom downstairs had a squeaky bed, but it was comfortable. The kitchen was good size, and had what we needed to cook. The dining room table was a bit small for all of us, but we made it work. We reached out to let the prop mgrs at the end of the trip to let them know about a couple of items that didn’t work or needed fixing, but nothing big. Loved the location and the fireplace/gas stove for the cold weekend. Upstairs beds were comfortable.

this cabin was perfect for our combined family ski trip. We had 6 kids aged 1-14 with two separate families. The sleeping arrangements were perfect and as described. The living room was quite cozy with the gas fireplace. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook the food we needed to. Easy to find and close to town. Would rent again.

The property was as advertised, but could use a few tweaks. The front door lock and door jamb were a little concerning. The door latch became wedged and locked in the jamb and had to call the emergency number provided for assistance. The jamb needs to be replaced due to wood rot, however we felt secure with the dead bolt operating properly. The third bath shower has very little water pressure and was basically useless. The interior is somewhat dated, but very clean... and the gas fireplace/stove was a big plus. I would definitely stay again.
