My overall impression of the Surfcaster is great! The fact that it is located within walking distance of the beach is a big deal! It is also located near shopping, grocery stores, and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and the outdoor balcony has a great view of the beach. There are a couple of minor details that could be fixed for the next renters of the property. Neither of the two bathrooms have towel hooks in them. Lastly, we did not receive our parking passes until the night before we left.

Two blocks off the boardwalk on 8th street. Conveniently located to where we wanted to be. Nice size.

Don't be fulled by the pictures. The place was falling apart. All the bedroom furniture and kitchen cabinets were broken and falling off. The walls and ceiling fans had so much dust on them. We had to rewash all of our bedroom sheets bc they still looked dirty. Mold on the roof in the bathroom. Old beat up kitchen wear. We refused to even cook with them. This is a rental that they clearly don't care about. Only thing good was the location.

If I could give it zero stars I would. The place was absolutely disgusting. I don’t think they cleaned at all before we got there. There was black mold in both bathrooms, mold growing in the coffee pot that hadn’t been emptied, a bikini sticker on the lamp shade, food splatter in the microwave, food all over the stove, wet and stained towels in the bathrooms, and dirty linens on the beds. If you walked barefoot in the house the bottoms of your feet were completely black. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Please run from this place. We had no working showers for the first 3 days of our stay. The showers & toilet seat were fixed after we contacted vacasa 4 separate times over the course of 3 days. Here’s a list of (most of) the issues we had during our stay. Seriously, do not stay here. (They also nearly towed our car.) Window screen was being used as a furnace filter (actual filters on site are wrong size) Smelled like weed when we arrived & condo smells (possibly like urine?) Broken shower head (taped on with electrical tape) Broken toilet seat Shower did not drain Bathroom sink doesn’t drain Bathroom fan broken Mold/mildew growing on bath ceiling Bedspreads were dirty & stained Refrigerator/freezer smelled & was visibly dirty Kitchen sink doesn’t drain property Electrical issues - outlets don’t fully charge devices Broken fan in living room Floors are filthy Thick layers of dust on all ceiling fans Visibly dirty baseboards, stains on walls Nearly all furniture is peeling/cracked, stained & visibly dirty Beds are insanely uncomfortable Pool code provided to us was wrong Car was marked to be towed with large windshield sticker that left residue all over windshield (despite our car being registered with security & a valid pass being displayed) Loud parties in adjacent condos Code to open condo door is 10 digits long (seriously who does this??)

Nice bathrooms! Beds comfortable. Place is pretty small/ tight for the # of people it holds. Great location to boardwalk!!
