We have stayed multiple times at the Solomon building. It’s usually been to extend our stay in Aruba when our property is not available. This place is always cleaning and well kept. They are very responsive to any needs and inquiries and are always pleasant to deal with.

It was a good studio to stay in. They provided beach towels and chairs, which was a plus. We were able to park our car rental right outside the building, which was great. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but good enough for the price we paid.

The lock box for the room key would not unlock at check in or check out. There was garbage around the pool deck, pop top tabs in the pool, the refrigerator fan started making loud noise at 5:15 AM and after the 1st day the hot water was almost warm.

This property is very nice. Bed needs to get replace. Everything else was amazing.

I thought the property was beautiful. Everything on the grounds was well kept, the pool was fantastic, the roof top desk was inviting and the room was spot on. I had a bit of a crisis at the end of my stay and was helped by Tony, who made my whole situation better/resolved. I highly recommend the stay. Its worth the while!

Very clean and comfortable, best stay I had in Aruba, very cozy and friendly, loved the rooftop pool and patio area. This place is a diamond in the rough. Great kitchen with plenty of counter space. Bed was so comfortable and it was really very easy to fall asleep on. Bathroom was better then we imagined, loved how clean it was and the shower head was awesome. Don’t waste your money on those resorts, this place was special and very affordable

Very cute and quaint with a nice rooftop + laundry. The neighborhood is super quiet, which is nice. The actual space isn’t bad, either. There’s a lot more opportunity for it to be a “homey” type of comfortable but it had your basic needs with no frills. Also, the bed is still rickety and had not been fixed in January 2023. Communication is subpar.

This property was clean, quiet and close to everything, beaches, restaurants, groceries and the airport. Perfect location, less than a ten minute drive to every destination,complimentary washer and dryer on site, and the rooftop pool was very relaxing

We stayed 4 days, and had a rental car. The location was perfect, everything was roughly within 10 to 15 minute away. We enjoyed the rooftop patio and its small pool. there is also a self-service laundry room. We highly recommend this to friends! The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, and our stay was super comfortable.

Loved this studio condo. Gorgeous building. Extremely helpful Asst Mgr Nicole helped me by actually driving me to a local store & back, for some treats for my 2-night stay. She also organized my taxi to the airport. Awesome staff! PROS: Pristinely clean. I felt the cleaners did an incredibly good job of making the studio welcoming. I appreciated the care of the exterior grounds on which the building sits. Kitchen was very well equipped with necessary utensils and even 2 food storage containers, always needed. Very comfortable bed - except whenever you move on it, it sounds like it’s going to break. Rooftop pool + loungers - fantastic! CONS: (1) The door to the stairs (leading to rooftop) is mostly left open (not sure by who). Even when closed, no code is required to open that door. This means that people alone could be prone to danger on the rooftop. (2) No elevator. As someone with severe arthritis, this would have helped. (3) There were no safety bars located on the property, including on the way up the 4x10 stairs (yes - 40 steep steps) to the rooftop. The steps are slippery ceramic tile; it is so dangerous. In fact, l watched one worker holding a very large laundry basket full of liquid cleaning supplies, slip hard, fall down 3 steps, and crash on one knee. It was a very painful fall. In the unit shower area, also no bars, nothing to hold - despite shiny glass & tile everywhere. That said, cons are easily solvable. Would definitely return & DEFINITELY recommend!

I wanted to spend a little extra time on the island before I went home from a cruise. The photos show the style, safety, and comfort I experienced! The place was clean, had the perfect amount of kitchen items , close to a grocery for quick eats and fruit, quick drive from ship port and airport. Two best items stand out: the rooftop pool and lounge area were just right and the resource guide provided! Bonus was the free access to the laundry. Thanks for an excellent stay and I will look for this place when I return.

The only problem was. The shower was missing a door so when you take a shower. The floor would get wet. The wifi connection was pretty bad. Under 0.10mbs. But apart from that everything was great

Thumbs up - very clean, central location, easy walk to Oranjestad strip, easy drive to Baby Beach, Eagle Beach, Arashi Beach, convenient free parking, roof top deck and pool, well equipped kitchenette. Beach chairs and cooler were put to good use!! Washer/dryer for towels. Thumbs down - no lamps on the bedside table and tired pillows. Bed was comfortable but squeeky.

Good location for self travel. Owner responsive to any issues. Rooftop lounge was good for sunsets.

I stayed here for three nights in a solo trip and I felt safe coming home every evening, the property is fairly easy to navigate and pretty clean.

An absolute gem of a property. Located in a really safe area that is close to the airport but just as close to the popular tourist beaches and areas. Place was clean and well equipped! Free parking in front and back with spacious slots. Only cons was the bed was broken of some sort so every time you laid/slightly moved in it, it would make a loud breaking sound. If you are on a lovers vacation and don’t plan on leaving the room much, this is a huge problem. Secondly, the room smelled of sewage and feces whenever the A/C was turned off. Must fix. Otherwise, this place was awesome.

We had minor communication issues with staff, some likely related to the hiccups with the Island's Internet while were there. I tried to call once but received a message that was in a language I did not understand. I think it was an outgoing voice mail but not sure. It could have been an error message. I copied and pasted the phone number, and Google voice warned me of the charges for calling Aruba, so I'm pretty I reached their line. The shower drain was a little slow, but that is hardly a complaint and was not an issue when we figured out how the hot water worked. It can be tricky because the "cold" water is generally very warm on the Island. The neighborhood was just like any outside the tourist trap area: very mixed condition. Some beautiful properties, some rough, some unkempt empty lots. We saw this fairly consistently as we drove around the island. If you don't want to stay in a plastic resort area, this is as good as it gets on the island and we found it very comfortable. Overall, our expectations were very much exceeded.
