Great property. Convenient location, very clean with all the necessary amenities to make a stay a pleasant one. Very responsive and respectful management/customer service staff. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Walking distance to gondola, very smooth experience with check-in/out and parking. A little cozy with a teenager in tow, but good use of small space, comfortable beds and large bathroom and shower.

If you’re looking for a place to just sleep and enjoy a quiet night, this is the place for you. We couldn’t hear anything from next door and no screaming from folks passing by. Good sleep and done.

Awesome place! Was beautiful/clean on the inside, conveniently located, helpful staff! We walked just about everywhere because it was such a central location! Had an issue with the fireplace, staff came out right away to get it fixed!

Great comfortable location walkable everywhere near casinos, great food, shopping and the lake. Quiet and calm street.

I wish there was a jacuzzi or fire pit or somewhere outside to relax.

The room was modern and had a nice feel to it but there were several issues that made the stay less enjoyable. When we arrived the unit was 50 degrees (hardly what you want to walk into after skiing all day). To make it worse, it took 8.5 hours after arriving for the room to reach 65 degrees. The hot water ran out after just one shower leaving the other person unable to shower for hours. The unit had zero rugs so water and snow was tracked every where.

First time traveling with our dog and South Chalet did not disappoint! Equipped with everything you might need and walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants.

My mom and I had a quick one night stay on our way to a funeral. The location is super convenient for walking to fun places. It was very clean and my only complaint was not within anyone’s control. I didn’t know the fire place is the source of heat and wasn’t lit when we arrived. I woke up at 3 am with the fire going(very bright)! Live and learn. I would stay here again!

We had a great stay. Check in/out was easy to follow and understand. Room was clean with very nice finishes. Walkable to several restaurants and casinos.

We stayed at Chalet Unit #11 and had a very pleasant stay. When we arrived, the fireplace was turned on and it was easy for us to find our dedicated parking space and let ourselves in. The beds were very comfortable with soft sheets and comforters. There is also a very cute minifridge, microwave, real dishes, and silverware so I was able to heat soups and have breakfast in the room. Check-out was easy and the host was communicative. I highly recommend this place and we will stay here again.

Was a very nice, equipped studio that fit the bill. Easy to get to. Let us rest up and relax for the next days skiing. Everything is within walking distance

Had a great stay at this location for a few days over a weekend. Everything was exactly as advertised. The location is super close to the main action so no complaints there and the price was reasonable for the location. I would definitely stay here again.

This is an easy place to like--comfortable, clean, and walking distance to the center of South lake. Everything worked as advertised. Only drawback is the thin walls, though the white noise machine on the nightstand certainly helps with that.

The room was clean, but I found it to be a bit over-priced and the television didn’t work. We were able to access all the TV apps they said they offered (Netflix, Hulu, etc.) but when you clicked on a show to watch it just froze and wouldn’t play.. anything.

Very comfortable, high quality and all your needs covered. This unit is soothing to the senses with neutral colors and very clean and organized. I appreciated how all the basic needs were covered, and then some... Great shower with ample space (and handcapped accessible), and very nice kitchenette. The bed I slept in was very comfortable. The view from the outside can be deceiving, as the parking lot is modest, but it was nice to be so pleasantly surprised. I also appreciated how the management went over the top to make this stay happen for me.

Hi, Overall your place is charming and well situated. We really appreciated how quickly your team responded to the false fire alarm that evening and fixed the bathroom fuse too. I think the only thing I noticed was that your linens looked a little worn down and I expect that's because you have had a flood of visitors during the pandemic. There was a stain on the bed cover etc... The one thing I would ask is if the blind above the two beds in Chalet 11 could cover the whole width of the window. I understand if that was a desire to let in light but the light woke me up in the morning. Could get a pull-up shade from bottom to top so that covered the whole width of the window? This way if those who wanted a totally black room could or then others could adjust the amount of light coming in too. I would come to stay again though.

Had a very enjoyable stay at the Chalet in Lake Tahoe! Walking distance to the lake and the shops at Heavenly. The unit was very clean and comfortable. We felt safe in the area it was located in and even though it is close to all the action there were no noise disturbances.
