We booked The Tracks for the week leading up to our wedding at Granby Ranch. Was a perfect location and place to get away for a few days before all the craziness of the weekend kicked in, and a great home base once activities got started. The place was comfortable, exactly as presented in the posting, and our friends were able to book spots nearby to create a very special experience. Max was super helpful with tips for the area as well

The Tracks was exactly what our family of four needed and more. Communication with the owners from the day of booking and beyond made it a seamless home away from home experience. The house was extremely clean, organized, comfortable, and accommodating. The location made coming and going for hikes and day adventures easy and uncomplicated. When some technical difficulties arose for our stay, the owners were beyond quick and thoughtful in their problem solving from a distance. Morning runs were dreamy right our the door and the kitchen makes for a spacious space to make meals in or prepare lunches to pack for hikes. We can’t recommend this property enough. We will absolutely be back! One thing that may be important to note, there is a rental next door, right off the primary bedroom window, that had two sets of occupants during our stay there that were very loud past what we would have hoped were “quiet hours” (past 1 am). Not sure how to address this but possibly worth seeing if there are quiet hours in the area ahead of time if noise disruption is an important variable for you.

The Tracks didn't disappoint. With plenty of space for our family, along with ample private spaces (when we needed a break from our family members!), the space more than met our needs. The patio in the back with fire pit and the front porch provided wonderful outdoor spaces, as well. We received a welcome text from the owner offering to provide any help we needed. When we accidently packed the home's hairdryer, the owner was understanding and helped me resolve the problem. We had all that we needed in the kitchen, and only wished we had access to the garage. Other than that, the vacation home was great!

We had the best time during our stay here. The house was beautiful, clean, and equipped with everything we needed and more! Plenty of room for our group of 5 adults, 2 kids, and a toddler. It was very easy to get to the ski hill. Max, the owner, was so nice and helpful. Can’t wait to come back!

Home was spacious, clean and well equipped. Probably better than the pictures show! Would absolutely stay again. Only major drawback, the house is technically ski in ski out but it was a bit more of a walk (2 blocks) than I wanted with equipment and kids. Parking is a little tight with two cars when snow on the ground and back yard was not shoveled so couldn’t really walk around in the back - but we didn’t really have a need for that anyway.

The Tracks made our stay most memorable, we were able to cook great meals and it was a delight to discover the pantry was partially stocked. Just a short walk to the slopes. I loved the separate dens. The kids had a quite place to do their homework while the others enjoyed a movie and nice fire. We already making plans to return.

The place was beautiful, plenty of places to sleep, the family and kitchen area were great for eating and playing games as a group. The place was clean and had every amenity one could think of. We used the fire pit out back and played foosball for the first time in a long time. The unit is about the closest we've ever stayed to the lift. The owner was great, never hesitated to answer any of our questions at anytime. The airlines lost my luggage and I'm standing in the claims office and needed the address, so I called them and they gave me the address. They followed through with text to see if things worked out, they did. I'd give them and their home 5 stars. The kind of place you want to treat as your own. excellent place for a fun family vacation.

We had seven family members stay over NewYears and had a wonderful time. Plenty of room for us and could have brought a couple extra kids. Lots of room for people to hang out in all the different areas of the home. Max was the best at keeping us updated and checking in to make sure we had everything we could need. The location is awesome as a ski in and ski out. Granby Ranch has plenty of skiing for all levels and doesn’t seem as crowded as other resorts. Even over the holiday, lines weren’t long and always tables for lunch or a short break. We did the Grand Adventure guided snow mi Ike tour to the continental divide. I can’t recommend it enough! So cool!! We can’t wait to find a time to come back in the summer.

From start to finish, the entire experience with this wonderful experience to the Tracks was fantastic. Max was great to assist us and communication was wonderful. Helpful in sharing recommendations and all exceeded expectations. Great location with ease to get the slopes, short drive to the lodge for the pool and hot tub, and ski gear/lift. You have to visit Grand Lake.

This stay was our absolute favorite place we have stayed at in so many ways! The floor plan gave us so much space for our whole family and felt so comfortable, like home. The host has this home stocked with anything and everything you may need. Beds we’re so comfortable and the downstairs game area was perfect for evening times. Multiple TV’s with all the media options to watch whatever you were looking for no matter the age. Fire pit was perfect for making s’mores, and the climate controled ski gear closet was perfect for getting ready and wrapping up your day and storing all your gear. Ski in & out was a short walk or ski to the owners lift to allow you to ski over to the base lodge. The host also reached out multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed and answered any questions we had. Grandby was a perfect small friendly community with great options for great food when we didn’t cook at the cabin. The slopes were perfect for those taking lessons or those looking to speed down the mountain. This was a perfect family trip and offered something for everyone in our group. Short & fast lift lines keep you getting up the slopes quickly. Would strongly recommend booking your stay at this prime location and home! We are already planning dates to return.

The whole stay was amazing! I am not even sure where to start. We stay at several VRBO’s a year and Max was by far the most engaging host. He reached out and gave us several tips…we had our two grandson ages 2 & 5 and two sons age 15. So, quite the age gap. Max gave us great suggestions on what to do for all ages. The beds…Amazing! Best sleep ever. S’more every night…saw deer daily right from the deck. Walked out the front door to go hiking while the guys fished. We will be back!

The house was perfect for our family. Fully equipped we lacked for nothing throughout the trip. Great communication from owner the entire time. Will stay again!

To start, before the trip property owner Max, reached out to chat about what to expect, etc. He gave tips on ski lift passes, rentals, you name it. Without his information I would've been lost for ski lessons, rentals and dinner spots. The house was amazing. Clean, well decorated and perfect adjacency to Ski Grandby Ranch. Max checked on us during our stay like a personal concierge would! When we return, we'll look nowhere else but the Tracks.

The Tracks is a well-appointed, perfectly decorated and designed, cozy mountainside home that you and your family will never want to leave. It is conveniently located in a ski in-ski out neighborhood, so you can ski home for breaks and hit the slopes at your leisure. There is an outdoor ski closet to store all your gear, and it is equipped with a bench and coat hooks so that you can comfortably put on all your gear while remaining sheltered from the elements. Prepare your meals in the well-stocked kitchen, or drive to one of many excellent restaurants in nearby Granby or Winter Park. Spend the evening playing board games or foosball, or simply relax in front of the fireplace with your favorite people. You will feel at home at The Tracks! The owner, Max, goes out of his way to welcome his guests and ensure a comfortable stay. Furthermore, the home is impeccably clean and maintained. One thing is certain, you will leave The Tracks with many memories, refreshed and ready to book again!

We planned a family trip specifically to take our 5 and 3 year old grandchildren to try downhill skiing. Granby was the perfect family ski resort for small children and Tracks was the perfect rental house for our vacation. My son, daughter-in-law and their 3 children (ages 5, 3, and 6 months) stayed in the lower level as it provided a variety of sleeping arrangements for their family including twin bunks in the bedroom, a large L-shaped sofa, space for a pack-n-play and a bar for organizing needed items in the family room. The loft provided a separate play area for their games and toys. The two first floor bedrooms provided personal space for my husband and I as well as the additional adult who traveled with us to help with the children.

From the moment we booked, the owner was super communicative and helpful, recommending gear rental places, activities, and restaurants. He also checked in on us and ensured we had everything we needed. Our check-in was seamless and the place was perfect for us. Everything is well-appointed and stocked. They have plenty of cozy blankets, extra paper and cleaning supplies, extra dishes, and glassware. The beds were very comfortable. The closets had plenty of space for all of our bulky winter clothing. There is a climate-controlled storage closet which was super convenient for all of our ski gear. There are thoughtful/convenient additions, like labels for the kitchenware and a charging station. The downstairs made for a great place for game night. As for the resort, Grandby seems like a great place for families (our 12/11 year olds went off skiing by themselves and it felt safe). The ski school staff was kind and friendly and we enjoyed grabbing a bite a couple of times at the Bluebird Bistro at Basecamp. All in all, a fantastic vacation. We look forward to visiting again!
