Location quite good

• Foul stench of drains in all rooms - came in waves maybe once or twice an hour • Dirty grill pan/oven with previous occupants grease and fat left on dirty foil • Dirty Toaster covered in crumbs • Kettle lid didn't fit properly and leaked boiling water when pouring • Kettle wobbled when water boiling up and caused it to turn itself off, had to hold steady till it boiled • TV/Sky couldn't be watched as pixelating and sound distorted like daleks • Handrail on stairs falling off wall and missing altogether at top of stairs - dangerous • No light switch for stairs at the bottom of stairs • Dirty spoons and cutlery in drawer - had to be washed prior to use • The notice asking you to leave the place clean and tidy as they don't charge you for cleaning. Their place was definitely cleaner when I left it than when I arrived! • Had to ask for heating to be put on - no facility to put heating on - very cold • Bathroom shower over bath not fit for purpose - shower rail and curtain so small that water streamed off your elbow and outside of bath onto the floor • Bathroom door doesnt close • Kitchen tap kept falling apart - turning handle came off in hand each time! • Single glazed window in bedroom - extremely noisy as on a very busy main road • One hand towel provided and two small bath towels. Nowhere to hang any of them at all to air after first use so unable to have shower the second morning as no dry towels, as no heating on. • Flooring at side of bath not finished so two different levels. Large bath mat put on I didn't read the other reviews prior to booking/arriving and wish I had, it would have saved me a lot of money. I am surprised that Booking.com actually allow this standard of accommodation to be advertised on their site, which I use a lot, and up until now have trusted them simply because they are on their website. A lesson learned!

More towels would be good Bar of soap in bathroom was a bit odd - would expect liquid soap

Clean and spacious, everything we needed really

We got this apartment because we were going to a wedding reception in the hotel behind, another couple came to the apartment for a few drinks and the owner came in asking loads of questions about who was there, I didn't realise I was paying per person, no reason they couldn't come in for a bit before the reception. Also the car park they tell you to use is a nightmare to get in and out of.

need tv fixing but we use some dvds wot we brought from charity shop cheap
