This property is beautiful!! Love that it is just a few minutes walk to the beach, but not right outside our door (my grandson is autistic and drawn to the water). We celebrated Thanksgiving here and it was perfect. Karol made sure we had everything we need for a wonderful meal! Will look for this property again with future stays.

We have rented from VRBO many, many times, all over the Seattle area and now in Virginia. This home is the cleanest, best-stocked rental house we've ever stayed in! The communication with our host, Karol, was the best we've ever had with any host or property mgnt company ever. It was quiet and nicer than I can describe. What is apparent is that Karol has furnished and provided this home with EVERYTHING one could possibly need and then some. The proof is in the details. It's beautiful, and we had one of the best weekends we've had in a long time. Please check this one out!

We stayed here for the Labor Day weekend and had a blast. It was our first time at Lake of the Woods and the house was perfect for our family. The teens could walk to the beach or go to the pool during the day and enjoy a fire in the pit at night. Great weekend and we would stay here again!

Nice comfortable and convenient

This home was fully equipped as if you were in your own home including kitchen & bathroom staples. Bedrooms were very comfortable. Karol was readily available to answer any questions. Quiet neighborhood & close to a beautiful lake.

This was the most well stocked home we have ever rented. The home was clean and located in a great neighborhood. The decor was beautiful and made us feel at home. My kids loved the video games and the pool table. The beaches were not over crowded and neither was the community pool. We could have stayed at the beach/pool ALL day.

We booked a weekend stay with very little advance notice, so we were delighted with how it turned out. This property is on a quiet street in LOW (pretty much only people walking their dogs) and was about two blocks from Cornwallis Beach, which had multiple picnic tables, lots of sand, a discreet port-o-potty, and built-in steps into the lake. The house itself was set up nicely for a family of four: mom and dad slept upstairs, and the kids each had a room downstairs. Highlights: A downstairs mini-kitchen and pool table, an amazing bathtub in the en suite, and a very well-stocked kitchen upstairs. (We liked the idea of previous guests “paying it forward” by leaving items behind, so we did the same.) There were LOTS of TVs on the property, but not many channels to watch, which was fine by us because we were there to hang out together. The host was extremely communicative, and we really liked all of the amenities of LOW. Dinner at the Clubhouse seemed a bit pricey for four ($180 with tip), but the service was great, and to be fair, we rarely go out, so this might be perfectly reasonable. We hope to be able to stay here again!

The house was perfect for my family and I to stay at. The homeowner was very accommodating and had the house prepared for my young kids. 4 adults and 2 kids stayed here comfortably. The beach and lake are within a couple minutes walking distance and a pool with a great playground is within a short driving distance. Would highly recommend this property and I would stay here again.

We wanted to do something as a family for the memorial day weekend and this was ideal. The property felt like a home away from home with thoughtful things that were there, just in case we forgot something. My boys especially loved the beach area which was a short walk from the property.

The property was great it had everything!!! It’s in a gated community with lots of privacy and very quiet. The lake and beaches are in walking distance all around very nice place to take the family and enjoy!!!!!

We had a wonderful stay here. Everything was well-presented and clean and we felt welcome and comfortable. Great location for paddling at the lake- within easy walking distance of the nearest “beach.” The kayaks were an added bonus and we had fun on them! It was also particularly enjoyable watching the sunrise over the lake from the porch. A wonderful place to stay with the family. Karol is an excellent host.

We needed a place to stay near my sister's house at Lake of the Woods. We could walk it was so close. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. We would return if we have another gathering at my sister's house!

Excellent visit with family. The reason for only 4 stars for cleanliness was due to prior renters and contractors leaving a large amount of food in the refrigerator, including partially consumed food. This stole a lot of space from us that could have been put to use by us.

Nestled amongst the trees, with glimpses of the lake, this property's location is quiet and beautiful. As a bonus, it is a very quick trip to the grocery store, a community library, restaurants and CVS. The neighbors are so kind, the amenities of the community are very family friendly and the hostess is incredibly accommodating and responsive. Our family was awed by the fully appointed, immaculately clean home with lots of small, thoughtful details that made the visit feel even more special. Any time I had a question, Karol was easy to reach and responded quickly. We stayed for 6 weeks during a move and felt so welcomed and comfortable. As we checked out, Karol was arranging contractors to do even more improvements to the home. We highly recommend this location to everyone!

Wonderfully appointed, super well stocked, very clean and well kept. Only 500 steps to a nice beach. Desks for those who need to work. A kitchenette near the guest rooms for baby care. VERY responsive owner. We all very much loved it!

We had all my nieces and nephews come to the lake for a few days. 3 couples stayed at the house. It was wonderful, clean, welcoming. Thank you

The house came equipped with anything you can imagine. Many details to make guests feel at home. Bathrooms, bedrooms, and kitchen are all well stocked. When we come back to the area to visit, we will definitely book here again!

This was my second stay at this home in Lake of the Woods while visiting family in the area. It is an incredibly comfortable home and the host has thought of everything a traveler needs!
