Pros: House was very well furnished and was very clean when we arrived. Super close to the beach and close to convenience stores if you need anything. Recommend Seven Seas - they have a ton of stuff as well as food items and so much closer than Walmart. House was close to the ocean which was a huge plus! We loved having the beach toys/items available for use - including the wagon! House has a good amount of family games available! Beds were comfortable. Patio area below was nice. Large master shower and bathroom. Cons: few small cons not worth taking away from overall rating but things to think about when coming here. The toilet paper is 1-ply super cheap stuff. Paper towels provided were 1 small roll. That’s it. Only 1 kitchen towel. Only provided 2 kitchen trash bags. Also needed more dishwashing detergent. We only had 9 staying but we were still doing the dishes multiple times a day. Obviously if you’re not planning on cooking there then this might not be a problem. Overall a great place to stay and would recommend this home!

So close to the beach with nearby markets, quiet neighborhood, the complete pkg when visiting Galveston without out all the hassles and traffic. Our second year to stay in this area.

Everything was as advertised, except, the house requires a serious cleaning and some minor maintenance (ie all lights bulbs on the lower patio burnt out, bathroom sinks drain very slowly).

Perfect for our stay! It is on the bay side within walking distance to the beach, over the 2 lane highway to the Gulf side. Great neighborhood, overall. The cost to use the pool was $100 flat rate for up to 10 people, for 10 days. Just a regular neighborhood pool, not luxury. It should be by armband or some other scaled solution; it's almost as much as Schlitterbahn for 2 teen kids. Had to run a load of dishes when we arrived because some were put away dirty with food on them so did not want to deal with it, so washed all plates, bowls, glasses, coffee cups and silverware. We have seen this before, not a huge deal and could be guests, not the cleaning crew putting them up like that.
