The home was absolutely beautiful and exactly as pictured…

The house was fine, but I always look for improvements. House gets a "B", VACASA gets a "D". Big Mix up on how to handle the linens. VACASA sent conflicting information. Confusing instructions about Trash and Recycle pickups. VACASA did not provide personalized service or instructions for our particular stay. Bathroom door near the foyer did not close properly. One of the shower doors had not been installed properly. Air Filter needed changing, but no access to HVAC. Constant wetness on east side of the house (much more than from air condition condensation).

This home is very comfortable and enjoyable for a week's stay as it is nearly new and with plenty of beds and full bathrooms, has plenty of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy family and friends or to have a quiet place to relax and read a book, and is located in a nice neighborhood in close proximity to the beach. For all of these reasons we would return without question. On the other hand, Vacasa as a rental agency has much room for improvement, which is why I give this rental 4 stars. Prior to and after booking, I asked for clarification on whether the house came with bikes, beach chairs, boogie boards, carts, etc. Despite several inquiries no one knew - they just go off of what is on the listing on-line which is fairly basic and made no mention of these items. So we ended up renting 6 chairs, a beach umbrella and a beach cart for the week at great expense only to be finally told the day of our arrival that the house came with these items. We also didn't receive our linens on the day of our arrival until 8 p.m. So we had no towels for showering after spending the day at the beach before checking in at 4 p.m. I had to call several times to ask what the deal was and just kept getting the runaround until finally being told - they are on their way but have no ETA. Also, I understand our rental period was toward the end the season, but the rugs were filthy, particularly in the bedrooms. This is something the agency should have noted and taken care of prior to our arrival (they offered to send someone to clean them with nearly no notice mid-week or to come the day before we departed - both options made no sense). No one wanted to be in their bare feet in their bedrooms. Finally, the house overall was simply not clean upon our arrival - substantial black mold on the shower floor and up the walls and tilework in the master bathroom (which I had to find cleaner for to be able to scrub it off and disinfect). There was a thick layer of dust on most surfaces including the furniture, light fixtures, blinds, accessories - pretty much everywhere with the exception of the counters and table tops. I had to clean everything including the dining room table which had food crumbs on it (as did the dining chairs). The sofa and chairs in the living and dining rooms were also really dirty. We covered them with blankets to feel more comfortable sitting on them. I do not fault the owner since the house is almost new and it is, in my view, the job of the rental agency to ensure their cleaning crew is doing their job, that the house is properly maintained while under their care, they have a clear understanding of what is included in the rental, and that problems are resolved quickly. Again, this is a great house but it needs better management by Vacasa.

The king sized blanket had a grapefruit size blood stain. I called Vacasa and they sent the linen company right away. But at first they had an attitude but eventually brought new linens. The house was not advertised as having to make the beds. The house was advertised as having 4 bikes. There were no bikes. Vacasa customer service excellent. Location good- 2 blocks to Dewey Beach. House was ok. Large and fairly modern. Quiet neighborhood.

I’d have to say, this property was better than advertised. Absolutely beautiful with plenty of upgrades. We’ll definitely be back.

My family and I just loved this house! It is modern, clean, well stocked, in such a cute neighborhood, and within walking distance of the beach! It was nice to be a little bit removed from the touristy downtown Rehoboth Boardwalk area, but also close enough that if we wanted to go into town it was easy enough. We had such a relaxing and peaceful vacation staying here, and we couldn't recommend it more! I could definitely see us renting this home again!

Spacious and open

Great beach house in every way. We thought we could put 20 year olds in the bunk room but those beds are not made for anyone over 50 pounds. They are very flimsy.

We came from 5 cities and two continents. We ranged in age from 12 to 74. One of us had 4 legs. The house and location offered us areas to be on our own and places to congregate together for dinner and games. It had the right bed configuration and plenty of bathrooms. We cooked in most nights and the open plan kitchen/living room/dining room worked really well. We also enjoyed use of the house beach chairs. The walk to the beach is 10 minutes along small shady lanes except for one short section along a larger road. And the beach is wide and much less crowded than further north. All in all in great house for us. We have rebooked for next year already.

Growing up we stayed a couple of weeks in Rehoboth every year, and now the tradition continues with my own children. This house was by far the best place we have ever stayed. Everything was clean, organized and thoughtfully placed. They had everything we needed, didn`t know we needed, and then some! Lake Comegys is beautiful, it is private and nestled perfectly between both towns: the best of both worlds. The house is big and airy with plenty of bikes and chairs. This house is perfect! The location is fantastic - quiet & safe neighborhood, just 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach. House is new, gorgeous and comfortable for large groups. 2 Laundry rooms. Tasteful decor. Bedrooms were spacious and private - beds super comfortable. This kitchen is loaded and has everything you need. Home provides linens, beach towels, chairs and bikes. This property is the best rental experience that I have had. Spotless beautiful house with everything that you need. The layout of the house allows great communal spaces with areas of privacy right around the corner. The kitchen had 4 of us cooking away with ease. Everything we needed for cooking was found in the kitchen. Although there were only 4 of us, the house can hold many more with ease and comfort. Don` miss this one if you plan to stay in Rehoboth. We thoroughly enjoyed the expansive kitchen and living room, as well as the fact that each room has access to its own full bathroom. The location is also hard to beat. The house is just off the main drag of Rt 1 and even though it is close to the highway, it`s a surprisingly quiet street. Added bonus, the beds are extremely comfortable.
