Absolutely loved our time here! This house is perfect for our family. We have stayed here several times and it’s always so clean and nice. This year we enjoyed the new pool and we loved the updated decor. It’s a very pretty house in a great location. Great, accommodating host. Will be back! Great week on SGI!

We loved the location of the house both to the beach and to the shops and restaurants. The shops were within biking distance and our kids loved the easy accessibility. The beach was one block away to the access point so we were able to get to the beach easily. The kitchen had the little extras that we always forget:aluminum foil, cooking spray, salt & pepper, etc which was nice. We have three big dogs so having all tile was helpful, and they supplied a dog gate for the deck and with chairs we could have the dogs out with us. And we loved having the pool as additional entertainment. My husband worked this trip, and when the internet went down the owner was easily reached and even had a backup which was extremely helpful. One problem- we had some really bad storms while we were there and the roof leaked. This was out of the control of the owner but he did have someone come by to check on it. The hard rain also caused some flooding underneath the house where our bikes and beach chairs were but again, this was due to the hard rain. To summarize: the size and accessibility of the house were great for the money and our family of four with an additional friend.

The property is in a great location with great views. The house is very nice and having a pool was great after a day at the beach. The kitchen was stocked with things you need if you are cooking in which was great for us since we prefer to cook. The owner Kevin is great with communication. We would definitely stay again.

excellent! excellent! excellent! Everything was great. we had everything needed for a great stay. the pool was amazing and much needed, I will never book a house without a pool in mid july again. It was so very hottt! We liked SGI because it was very family oriented. loved the bike riding everywhere, and the lighthouse. we enjoyed the house and all the renovations the owner has put into it. looking forward to it next year as well. Kevin was attentive and responded quickly when needed. FIVE STARS ALL AROUND!

Beautiful house and wonderful people to work with. We stayed in this house 3 years ago and wanted to stay again but it was usually booked.great location quite little town. Everything you could possibly want.hope to book again. Nancy Fleckenstein

We arrived to a house that was not cleaned well if at all. There was feces on the toilet seat, one room had dirty top sheet, and what looked to be blood and stains on the fitted sheet underneath, the second room had a bunch of sand in the bed that was blamed on a dirty bed spread by the house cleaners who just threw it in the dryer to get the sand out, the refrigerator was nasty and shower curtain was dirty looking as well. We notified the owner and he sent the cleaning crew to re-clean the house. He did refund $200 for the inconvenience. The other issues we had with the house were the lack of maintenance, the ceiling had boards that were buckling, several cracked floor tiles with sharp edges, the porch door was hard to close, the bedroom tv had no working remote only a broke one that smelled like sour milk. The reading light over the bed had a broken plug on it. The blinds in one bathroom were broken/missing and would not close. I feel the price point is very high for the overall condition of the house. I did not bring up all the issues while I was staying there to the owner (only after we left) due to wanting to vacation and not deal with house issues and people repairing while I was there so I could make the most out of my stay. I gave 2 stars due to the location and newer pool.

First time on the island and we loved it. Such a small community feel. The rental had everything you would need for a successful trip, and the owner was fantastic. Super easy walk to the beach, and the kids loved having the pool. I thought the pool was even bigger than it looks in the photos. Would definitely stay here again!!

Couldn't say enough about the house location and the pool. It was perfect for our family, as well as our friends!

We absolutely loved our vacation home. It was perfect! The owner was in direct contact with us to make sure we were happy. It made us feel special and like we could contact him at any time. You don’t get that kind of personal attention just anywhere. We will obviously try and stay at the same house again next summer.

We had a great relaxing week on St George Island. Kevin was super helpful and communication was great. The proximity to the beach and you to town park were both just right. The house was comfortable and we look forward to returning

Highly highly recommend this beach house. 5 stars doesn’t do this place justice. The house was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed for our family vacation. The beach is just a quick 2-3 minute walk. One of the big things we were looking for in this vacation was being able to bring our furbabies with us. The beach is super dog friendly and we loved taking walks on the beach during sunrise with our dogs and then watching the sunset on the rooftop deck. Plenty of places to eat at and piggly wiggly had everything we needed to make food at the house. And lastly, Kevin is the most personable and friendly host I have ever talked to. He immediately responded to any and all questions I had even before we arrived as well as once we were at the house. This was our first time visiting St George Island, but it for sure will not be the last. It has by far exceeded all expectations and in a week has become our favorite vacation spot. Thank you so much Kevin for letting us stay at your beautiful beach house and we absolutely cannot wait to come back!

Just a short walk to the beach and not crowded. The owner recently bought this property and still honored our reservation. The property is in need a few updates/repairs which the new owners plan to address. They were very easy to work with, and we’d definitely come back. Looking forward to seeing what they do with the place.

We loved this home! We loved the location to the beach and the house itself. The deck was shaded all day long. The roof top deck was also a unique feature! The new owners were so attentive and helpful.

I couldn’t have asked for a better property to share with my family on our vacation! The house was exactly as listed, clean, well maintained and comfortable. The crow’s best was our favorite spot to catch the nighttime sky full of shooting stars and for a beautiful ocean view during the day. Kevin was super kind and responsive! Everything was very nice. The stairs were challenging for our age group. The vacuum cleaner was difficult to use and didn't pick up anything very well. I forgot to turn the dishwasher on before I left...sorry!

The location of this house is great and the layout of the home worked well for our party of 7. The house changed ownership right before our trip and the new (and previous) owners worked with us to make sure everything transferred over and that we were good to go. We appreciated how well they handled this transition and the new owner was very quick to respond to all of our questions!

This was my first experience with VRBO and the host, Bill Tait was incredible with every question I had. Leatha’s Dream was exactly like the pictures show and truly felt like home for the week. I honestly could not imagine staying anywhere else on the island. The location & proximity to the beach and restaurants can’t be beat. Do yourself the best favor ever and rent this house. I promise you won’t regret it!!!

We really enjoyed the property and our dog loved the crows nest! We will be going back! The only issue we had was the email coming to us went to spam and hard to find.

We enjoyed our stay at Leatha's Dream. There was a pretty good sized group of us (2) adult couples plus (1) single adult and and we had plenty of living space to enjoy each other's company and our own bedrooms and plenty of bathroom area, as well. Easy walk to the beautiful beach. Great location.

Best vacation yet! We couldn't have asked for a better house! The location was perfect...a few steps from the beach and right on the bike path. The welcome basket was a fabulous touch!

We love this home! This is the second time We have stayed here with our family of 5. It is very clean and comfortable and we love the location on SGI. One of my favorite features is the roof deck to drink a cup of coffee on the morning and enjoy the view and the sunrise, or the sunset on the evening. The owners are very friendly and attentive in making sure you have a great stay! We love Letha’s Dream and will be back!

Great views and relaxing stay. The washer was broken while we were there which caused an inconvenience but the owners were thoughtful and apologized and sent a basket if goodies. We had a lovely time on SGI.

Great location. Short walk to the beach. Very lovely home. Easy bike ride to either "downtown" or State Park. Communication with owner was quick and efficient. The dog "Logan" loved walking the beach. Would rent again.

We are five sisters (ages 57 to 76) and we had a wonderful week at Letha’s Dream. The house was clean and comfortable. The roof top deck was well used. The views are amazing. The beach was a very brief walk away. The owner was easy to contact and responsive to work with. He also told us about The Owl in Appalachicola where we had an outstanding lunch. Highly recommend the Bees Knees cocktail made with the local Tupelo honey. We would happily stay here again.

We had a wonderful week! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook delicious dinners. Beach was steps away and the beach cart made carrying chairs and snacks easy! We loved the views from the porches. Definitely recommend staying here!

We happened to visit the island during the first time in 10 years that they have seen red tide. William immediately informed us upon our arrival and provided us with the information we needed to have a safe trip with our family. The house has a baby gate for the stairs, which was so helpful for my baby on the move. The cart provided for carrying beach gear is amazing!
