Great rental cortage, clean and comfortable, great location, few mins walk into town centre. Would recommend and would definitely stay again

Second stay in this lovely property. The recent addition of a heater in the downstairs shower room was much appreciated! Had everything we needed. Back door straight into boot room very handy for muddy dog.

We loved our stay at The Ridgeway over Christmas. Possibly our favourite place we have stayed in Keswick…ever! Easy to find, parking space opposite the property. We found the property to be comfortable, cosy and well equipped. It was always warm, comfy bed, or red etc sofas to relax on and what a great view from the lounge. The shower was hot and powerful. The kitchen was well equipped (we cooked Christmas dinner and had everything we needed!) Lovely welcome items plus the little essentials to make sure you could settle in without having to head straight to the shops. The lounge was decorated for Christmas too! Due to the awful weather all week we were inside a lot….but this never gelt a hardship as we found the property a perfect place to relax and chill out. In short, we loved it. We were quite sad to say goodbye to it (wish we owned it!). Highly recommended. Central enough for convenience but just far enough away from the noise of the town. A real haven of peace in a busy place. We can’t wait to go back to The Ridgeway The booking process was also zero hassle. Lovely friendly team at Keswick Cottages! All in all a perfect experience start to finish.

Great quiet location just off the Main Street. Couldn’t ask for anything else for a base while visiting the town. Kitchen was extremely well stock with equipment and there’s plenty room. Ideal for a family or even two couples as two separate bathrooms. Would highly recommend and will certainly book again

Booked really short notice to extend our week in the lakes due to the weather being good and wanting to do walks in this area. This house is great for serious walkers as so many great walks to do from your doorstep without taking car it also has a huge utility /boot room which is a must for all your wet weather gear and getting it dries for the next day. House is in central Keswick so close to everything you need pubs, restaurants, takeaways and outdoor shops! It also has an allocated parking space which again is fantastic and required in this location. House is big and comfortable good bed and nice linens. Was also clean and very well equipped with washing machine and separate tumble dryer again essential for winter walking!! Views from bedroom and living room windows are amazing our only small very tiny negative was the separate toilet to rest of bathroom having to go next door to wash hands. However it did benefit from downstairs shower room. Would definitely recommend Ridgeway if staying in Keswick close to everything, homely and has a nice little outside patio to enjoy the view!

Great location in the centre of Keswick. Lovely view. Perfect place for 4 plus dog! The front patio is dog secure!

We really enjoyed our short stay in The Ridgeway. Excellent location, beautiful property, with wonderful scenic views across the fells. Highly recommend it for people wanting to visit Keswick and the surrounding area.

Lovely accommodation in town. Easy access parking slots need more definition as quite tight. Washer and drier are important in the lake district. It rained constantly on our weekend.

Ridgeway was perfect! It is spacious, very well equipped and very clean. It’s in a prime location with a lovely outside area to enjoy the sunshine that we had! Highly recommended.

Super views from main window, nice front terrace to sit out on which caught the sun, wonderfully convenient for town centre yet quiet. Slight negatives - parking space is tight (but you do get one right outside the property which is good), and kitchen is downstairs whilst living/dining room is upstairs. Main double bed has a raised plinth at the bottom which is slightly annoying for taller people who want to stretch out. Good facilities, we recommend this apartment.

Great location, easy walk into town & nearby park. Great views from the lounge. We found the side access straight into the utility room particularly useful for bringing a very muddy dog indoors. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay thank you.

This is a good place to stay, well appointed and well located. Fish and chips at the bottom of the road. It does have an odd layout, because of the way the house has been subdivided, with the kitchen on one floor and the eating area on the next floor up. However, there is a pointless meanness and which makes things feel uninviting. At the price you are paying, there is no economic logic to counting out the minimum number of toilet rolls to provide, the absence of cling wrap, kitchen paper towel etc etc. The excuses of Covid are not longer relevant. The difference between this type of accommodation and an Air BnB is very clear, with an almost industrial feel to the management of this property, the desire to make money. The staff are friendly and good willed but they are no doubt overworked (in the search of better returns for the owners...) and never replied to an email enquiry we sent afterwards about something we left at the property.

Really enjoyed our stay at The Ridgeway. Would definitely consider staying there again. First class location really good property.

My son and I stayed here for a walking break. We were greatly impressed by the standard and location of this property and that it had a car parking spot. We found it extremely clean and tidy, also it had everything we would wish for. Despite the exceedingly inclement weather, we had a wonderful break, and we would certainly stay here again.

We found The Ridgeway to be comfortable , clean and well equipped.Just a short walk from the town, bus station and Derwant Water made it an ideal base to explore the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

This is the second time we have booked accommodation in Keswick through Keswick Cottages, and once again, their service has been spot on from start to finish. And The Ridgeway proved to suit us perfectly in every respect, exactly what we were looking for. Many thanks - we'll be back. Edward

Fab views great location central Keswick with Catbells and other walks on the doorstep. Lovely clean house. Only complaint is bins there is no bin for plastic recycling at property so you have to take to recycling center.

We stayed here with our two teenage children and dog for a week in August and couldn’t be more pleased. The house is well maintained, comfortable, clean and very well equipped - a real home away from home. It’s ideally located for trips into town and also for fell walking. The views from the property are stunning. We’ll be back

We enjoyed staying at the Ridgeway. It is perfectly located. It’s great to take which a short walk home after eating in the Thai Restaurant or The Thyme. Great views The accommodation was clean, comfort and amply equipped. All in all a great stay.

Fantastic location and very well equipped for everything you need in the Lakes. Definitely would stay again.

Excellent location with fabulous views from sitting room. The furnishings are beginning to look a bit tired and curtains in bedroom beginning to go mouldy. Would have liked more comfortable outside furniture. Nothing however that would stop me staying again. Having booked through Keswick cottages before I feel there has been a huge hike in prices. Keswick cottages have been helpful anytime I have contacted them and would have no problem booking through them again.
