The gent at reception was excellent, very helpful, very honest and also polite and proffessional.

A wonderful place - if you are able to use the efficient tram network of the city. A friendly smile or a small tip during check-in and you can avoid to get a room at the hotel front, with its noisy street.

Nice and clean. A little difficult with parking but the garage is good. The breakfast was great a lot to choose from. The personnel was very friendly.

A nice hotel not far from center

Located on the main motorway into Budapest. We had a front room and the noise was terrible. Sirens going all night. Hotel is very dated and could do with some renovation. Staff were very good, friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel, but 4 starts is a bit too much, 3 starts would make more justice. Anyway it was a good value for money, clean rooms and very friendly staff!! A bit far from city center, as expected, but it's easy to get around by bus or tram or a easy and cheap taxi ride.

Spacious room with coffee and kettle, free parking, near shopping centre, staff are very nice

Very friendly staff. Parking available on site (I didn't need to pay for it, but there was limited spaces for underground parking). Easy access when travelling with a car. Pet friendly (without weight limits and I travelled with Bernese). Good stay!

The reception manager was extremely helpful and it was very convenient for the conference centre

This was a perfect spot to stay in Budapest. The front desk was more than helpful.Easy to get around and the bonus was the wonderful restaurant down the street. We will be back to Budapest.

I stayed for one night, reception staff was friendly, car parking free in the basement, room was on second floor, lift present, room was clean and spacious. Bus to city centre was 2 min walk. Spar 24 hrs across the road. Cons: AC was mostly just fan, oddly located in the roof, a little noisy, kept on switching off and on during the night, didn’t have any controls to keep it on continuous. As a result sleep was disturbed. Overall, good for a night maybe

My first impression when i got here was 'Is this it?' the hotel looks rather off colour compared to the foto on line. The customer servicing from the main desk was fantastic from 2 staff (the receptionist on day one and day two) I complained about bus tickets that I bought previously to the reception desk. Upon reflection I realised the staff I reported was been really helpful and i just misunderstood. This receptionist I made the complaints to was really off handed and took offence to this complain. Unfortunately he was the one at the desk when we were leaving and unfortunately his behaviour even as we're dropping our keyss left a bitter taste. Breakfast was continental and the staff had no interaction with quest apart from ask the room number to confirm that you're entitled. However there was sufficient fiod all the tine. The chamber maids entered our room once thinking we were out. They did not apologise but unhappy that we were in their way. On another occasion there was a knock (you may say it's my fault for not putting a 'do not disturb' sign or not leaving my room earlier to make allowances for cleaning) this time, they were irritated. If however you are looking for location with bus or tram route to the town centre, then you could come here. Don't expect a 4**** hotel or treatment. Personally I will not consider it next time.

Breakfast was included and it was delicious, lots of choice, fresh and staff around to clear tables etc. Location is great to with a tram stop over the road and bus stop just round the corner. So easy to travel anywhere in the city. Hotel staff were so helpful, they helped us out every morning with our map. To top it all off they held our luggage for the day to which was great. We could have a last full day of exploring without carrying our cases everywher with us. Thank you Hotel Mediterran we had such a fantastic time.

Friendly staff and relatively close to the center of the city. I would stay here in another time.
