The water did not shut off in the tub/shower, it ran a constant stream of hot water. The are conditioner leaked in the room, saturating the carpet. We had to get 6 towels every night to put on the floor to absorb some of it, and wear shoes to walk on them. The staff knew about the tub and leak from the AC, so therefore maybe the room should not have been booked until those things were repaired. They had no other room to offer. The TV remote did not work. The beds were comfortable and the staff was very friendly, they were the saving grace.

This is a very good hotel but a bit dated and worn down. The hotel is frequently booked up and the wear and tear is showing. We got the suite and it was nice and spacious. The room had a musty smell when we cane in each time that faded away. The bathroom needs up dating and the remote didnt work. Toilet had to be flushed twice. I feel like with the worn down state of the hotel that it needs to be rennovated and they are charging a bit too much for now.

Decent hotel and clean. Could use updating. There is daily housekeeping but they never seemed to give me enough toilet paper or soap so I had to keep asking. Breakfast was ok. Some hot stuff each day. Loved this new pancake machine. I didn’t love being there at night alone and my room was near the ice machine and was pretty loud when no one using it.

No WiFi which isn’t the funnest with two kids. The front desk lady at arrival was so nice the next morning at breakfast you couldn’t get assistance and she was not So friendly. The bed was comfy. Pool needs to be cleaned.

The outside trash can was always overflowing

Breakfast, two thumbs down, they had a menu but it meant nothing. The quality of the food wasn’t that great and the pancake machine was broken and not acting properly throughout most of my stay. They’ve tried to renovate the property but the wet floor sign was in the elevator the entire time I was there. Some of the plaster was flaking off the half wall and the bed wasn’t very comfortable. Five stars for cleaning the room each day I was there. There are a lot of hotels that no longer do that. It did have a pool and workout room and situated close to a lot of shops and dining options. The parking lot can get pretty full later in the night but I was able to park throughout my three day stay. The water pressure was good but didn’t get hot enough for me and I killed a couple of spiders. The price point was okay but I, personally, will opt to find another hotel for the next visit to the Hampton area.

Old...musty and damp

Overall very nice. The TV remote in the room was broken and the air quality in the fitness room was poor. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay. Very large room.

The staff was helpful and friendly.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. But the room was dreadful. AC didn't work, dirty, and the beds were some of the worst I've ever slept on. Will not stay here again.

The room was nasty

Upon arrival Diamond greeted us with a warm smile and a hello. We had trouble opening the door to our room because it only opened maybe 1 inch and got stuck, i had throw my hip into it to get it to open. The door opened up to about 12 inches and got caught on the carpet. The room had a strange smell and the carpet was sticky. When we unfolded the sofa bed there we stains all over the bed. Somone set the alarm clock in the room to go off at 12am(midnight) that pissed me off. We returned at about 1030pm and fell asleep just before the alarm went off!! The ad says full breakfast, guess i should have done more research. Powdered eggs, pork sausage and potates were the only hot items. Other best westerns we have stayed at offered waffles, pancakes, bacon, ready made grits and oatmeal.

Staff were excellent. While some amenities were dated, it was evident they take pride in their facility & do what they can to make their guests smile. Breakfast, for example, even included not just coffee, but a cappuccino maker. Fresh pancakes. Hot eggs & sausage that were safe for my gluten issues - and even salsa & cheese toppings ready! We had booked a room with 2 queens through a third party. The 2 queens were a major deciding factor for 4 of us. When we arrived they gave us 2 doubles. It's unclear where in the process it broke down, but when I showed them verification of the 2 queens, they were very diligent in finding a resolution. While hotels.com helped, I believe MOST of the credit goes to the staff at the Best Western. While I'm sure they can't always do this, they gave us an additional room at no additional cost. Great breakfast. Many extra that go above & beyond. Cappuccino machine. Freshly made pancakes. Extra chilled water. Special creamer. Half a dozen toppings for oatmeal. Free parking & well lit. Double beds VERY comfortable. King was too firm for my preference. Decent water pressure in the showers. Spacious rooms. The free toiletries smelled great. In every aspect they could, they gave little extras to heighten the experience. Highly, highly recommend this Best Western.

The business side is being neglected. The front desk chair was cracked and ripped. The pull out bed had no sheets. When I asked for some, I was given one sheet and a blanket that was only 2' wide. Breakfast wasn't fully set out, so I kept having to ask or find things. The staff had no name tags, so I didn't realize the two ladies talking on the couch were the front desk personnel.

We stayed at this hotel because it was Saturday night and prices were highway other hotels. This hotel allows pets and there was a dog barking until almost midnight. The room had a slight smoke smell. The beds were good. The TV Control had seen better days. It work for the night.

It wasn’t terrible for a night but like we would not go back honestly. We found a dead roach in our sheets and everything was just like slightly damp and the room was soooo effing musty we had to bring in febreeze from our car it was BAD. But like again for a single night it wasn’t the worst place I’ve ever stayed. Definitely a hotel I would lift the sheets at to check for bedbugs (they did not have any but if you stay I’d still check—you can never be too safe). Staff and location was the saving grace of this hotel.

I stayed for a week, everything was good.

I usually do not write reviews but had to got this stay. I only booked the hotel because of the rating however that was overly inflated. Breakfast was mediocre. Elevator made a loud noise going up and down and on the third day was broken so had to. Sorry my bags downstairs by myself. There was a drunk lady sleeping on the third floor chat by the elevator and kept harassing people as they got off and on. There was black mold in the shower, stains in the carpet and the toilet wouldn’t flush. When I arrived to the hotel I had to wait 15 minutes to check in as the employee was in the front smoking a cigarette and chatting on her phone. Not a great experience at all

Hotel was clean except for the pool area. There was trash and beer bottle caps all over the ground and on tables. The trash can was overflowing and the area smelled of trash. I took my daughter and left due to the condition of the area i didn’t trust the pool was clean.

Great hotel! It was, however, difficult to get help at the front desk as the girl was preoccupied with her boyfriend.

It was convenient, clean and the staff was helpful.

The toilet seat was broken in the bathroom and limited hot water at sink. Ice machine out of order on our floor. Noise from people come in and out front entrance. Lied to about being charge for one night, second night in dispute ! Never staying at a Best Western again !

I only booked because I thought it had good recent reviews and it was a good deal at the time. Our room had a strong smell when you first walked in. Even my 6 year old complained and was uncomfortable! We were supposed to stay for 2 nights but ended up checking out early and booked another hotel because It bothered our sinuses and allergies so bad to the point where we couldn’t breathe. It was like an old dirty smell. The beds weren’t that clean either. We asked to speak to the manager while getting our refund and he refused to come out. The woman (sorry forgot your name) who checked us in was a delight and her customer service was the only good thing about the experience in the hotel.

This property I would recommend and stay again

Only reason I have 2 and not 1 star is because the staff was very nice and respectful. When I walked in room the air was hot and thick (because ac unit is partially outside and seem like it was half ac & half outside air) Room very outdated and OLD stains everywhere including the wash cloth used. Big hole in the shower wall at top. Breakfast was weak and stations was a mess. Never again.

Our initial room had a nonworking AC unit, so we were put in another room. However the AC ran all night at the "coolest" setting but it never seemed to get cool enough. Facilities are very outdated. Some missing lightbulbs, had to go get batteries for our remote.

Overall, the rating was accurate and I would stay here again. Thanks.
