We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Hotel Adalbert. George who was at the front desk was very kind and enthusiastic with his job. He is very approachable. The breakfast was great and the free flow of hot beverages very convenient.

Lovely place. We enjoyed our stay

Unique property with big clean room and bath. Breakfast was included and very delicious. Staff helped us find the best way to get into town. Tram was only 5 minutes away and free for those of us over 65.

Wonderful location in the old monastery, tram station right in front of the monastery, huge room for a reasonable price, service people were almost exclusively really nice.
The only downside was a moldy spot in the room, apart from that it was a lovely stay without any hidden costs or traps. Extra plus is the brewery next door at the same monastery location. If you want to travel to Prague to discover its rich culture and history then this hotel is perfect, for the first cultural sight you literally just have to step outside the door.

We picked the hotel for its location - tucked away yet conveniently close to the city center. Our ground floor (partially sub ground floor) room was fun and comfortable - right under the chiming clock of the church. The breakfast was surprisingly lavish for a three star hotel (much much better than the US four star hotel breakfasts included in the stay).

Good facility. Church bells and open window for fan made it difficult for me to sleep.

Perfectly located! Great location that allowed us to bring our two dogs. The guest services were wonderful. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating. Beautifully gardens surrounding a beautiful church and monastery. We loved the on site restaurant and the beer was made on site as well and delicious!!! Looking forward to coming back next year.

This is a beautiful hotel in the grounds of the Brevnov Monastery. Its out of the city centre, but that doesn't matter at all as it's 2 minutes from a tram stop with frequent services to everywhere you need. There is a brewery, pub and restaurant on site as well as wonderful gardens and woodlands. You get a tasty breakfast to start the day. There is no tea/coffee facilities in the room, but you can get free hot drinks from the coffee machine in the breakfast kitchen at any time. It's always on. There is a good shower, decent toiletries, a fridge, a mini safe in the well furnished, characterful rooms. Our only criticism is that, for us, the mattress was a bit too firm, but that's just personal and wouldn't stop us from returning here. This hotel is such good value and we would recommend it without any hesitation.

Everything i was hoping it would be. Its a monestary. A working monestary. I saw 2 of the monks. The room was clean and comfy.. the staff were over the top helpfull. The monks still made beer there. I indulged
Yes. The dark beer was really good. The tram was close by. I had to go across town to catch an IIHF hockey game and it was.easy. the tram to the Royal Castle was only 20 minutes. But just the history and ambiance of the place, made it most enjoyable.

I checked in after hours due to flight delays. I was relieved to find the check in process was easy. The room was beautiful and the monastery setting is amazing. The hotel is nestled in a beautiful garden area. Upon further inspection the room was a bit outdated and could have been a bit cleaner. The towels and linens had a few minor stains and found a few strands of hair on the towels.
The breakfast buffet was delightful and extensive. Overall a beautiful first night in Prague.
Perfect for a quick stay rather than extended.

Great place. Located in the old building, surrounded by monastery gardens. Only a few steps to the monastery craft brewery and traditional Czech pub (Senk)

Small room but clean and beautiful, the breakfast was delicious

Felt extremely safe and loved the proximity to the tram stop, if your going into Prague its a no brainer id recommend staying here.

I chose this hotel because of it's price and relative proximity to the airport - so glad I did because I loved this experience! Set in the middle of the Brevnov Monastery - this is truly a unique hotel and the grounds are definitely worth an explore. Buffet breakfast was good (the room it was served in was gorgeous) and the onsite restaurant offered delicious options for dinner. Rooms were clean, on the large side (by European standards) and had everything I needed for a one night stay. I enjoyed the touches that showed you the age of the place - like the exposed beams in the ceiling. Not a fancy hotel, but a beautiful setting, lovely staff, and great experience.

Lovely hotel in a classic, historic building. The family suite was really big and perfect for a family of 4. Close to Prague airport but very quiet and relaxing. Excellent restaurant next door and the included breakfast was great.

Friendly staff, peaceful property. Quiet and felt safe there. The grounds are nice and the tavern on the property is delicious.

The fastest check-in without filling any papers, nice breakfast, quiet place and the surroundings are great.

We felt very at ease at this monastery hotel. Everything was clean and the grounds were peaceful. We really enjoyed the restaurant and the cafe? I think it was a cafe. Both wonderful. You can get the tram just out front from the hotel about a 5-7 min. Walk. Beds and pillows were a bit hard for us but the price was right and it was only for 2 nights.

Great place to stay at Prague, great value for mony, very cosy nice, but not fancy breakfast. Clean rooms

We stayed at the hotel for our first night in Prague. We had an apartment booked for the remainder of our holiday. This hotel is in the grounds and in part of a monastery building. It is exceptionally clean. The rooms are basic with very comfortable beds. The self service breakfast included in a great value price is good. The tram stop is 2 minutes walk away.Highly recommend

Wonderful hotel next to Monastery and lots of bar.

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times before our flight out of Prague and keep returning. The hotel is part of Brevnov Monastery and is 15-20 mins from the airport, it is also accessible by public transportation. There is free parking, restaurant on site, and beautiful park. It is older and furnishings and simple, but everything is clean. My only complaint about our last stay is that the pastry served for breakfast was not fresh. We tried several kinds and could not find a single fresh piece. For some, a day old pastry may not be an issue, but I am a local living abroad, so I know Czechs get fresh pastries daily, and would expect the same at a Czech hotel.

Stayed here one evening to be relatively close to the airport. Hotel is situated within the Monastery and you’re definitely ensconced in history at this location along with a lot of green space. The room was very nice with a very comfortable bed, wifi & modern bathroom. Although there was no air-conditioning, you could open the window and for myself, it was relatively comfortable. On site was also a very good restaurant where you could enjoy a great meal and monastery made beer. The buffet breakfast was very nice with good selection. Definitely recommend this place.

The hotel location was amazing. It is like in the middle of the forest but very close to main road, tram, and buses. The service personel was very kind. The breakfast was ok but it is very standard. Everyday, the very similar menu is served. The room was clean. The place is very quiet. We (3 people, a family) paid 500 USD for 4 night accomodation included breakfast.

Local restaurant had a good variety of food - we made a vegetarian feast for 4 from the pumpkon risotto along with side dishes.
4.6
The Property us part of an old convent enclave in Prague. It is close to trams and the castle but also backs up to extensive gardens and us very quiet.

Breakfast was included and very tasty!

This was our second visit to the property. The staff were so warm and welcoming, and a big heads up for George and Martin ( I think I’ve got their names correct) in reception. Nothing was too much trouble, they were both so helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had all the information we needed to get around and find all the places we wanted to visit. We’ll certainly be back.

Hotel from outside is beautiful but inside.. room smells very old, carpet looks very dirty and bathroom wasn’t clean so well. I’m not sure that the price what they ask for night is worth it.

Beautiful surrounding area, nice restaurant on premises, great rooms.

Overall this is a great find and I would stay again. It's quiet, safe yet convenient location and a bargain for the price you pay.
Pros
- quiet location but within minutes from a tram stop and there is a restaurant in the complex which is a bonus
- convenient transport to the main city sights (about 10min to the castle, 20mins to the city centre by tram)
- I booked a single room but it had a large bed and the room was actually pretty big (more like a double in some places)
- the place was clean and staff friendly
Cons:
- the breakfast was ok with some choice of hot and cold food, not outstanding but totally appropriate for a 3* hotel
- the shower could do with updating (showerhead a bit dodgy and water leaking on the floor) - again, not a deal breaker but could be improved
- you are in a monastery so you will hear the bells regularly :) I slept through it but maybe something to bear in mind if you are a light sleeper

Very enjoyable stay at an oasis in the middle of Prague. Monastery complex has a restaurant, brewery, pub, parks and gardens. Great staff everyone. And did I mention tasty monastery mini brewery IPA? No ghosts showed up that night.

It was more like a resort than a hotel. Close to beach. 3 nights, loved it.
