1. We thought our room would have a balcony as advertised in the picture on Expedia. 2. The manager said she will give me the room with balcony for 4 days because it will be empty for 4 day. I tipped her 20 US dollars. 3. Next day her husband comes & offered us ONE HOUR car tour for 100 US Dollars. We said no. He was super upset. @8.30 pm while we were sleeping the he knocked at our door like crazy. no stop BOM BOM BOM . We were scared & we didn’t answer. Again BOM BOM BOM & again. My husband opened the door. He was standing there completely drunk asking if the Aircondition works!!! 4. Next day, they wanted $60 if we want to switch the rooms which she offered for free on the day of our arrival. They asked us to pay the $60 Now. We don’t want the room anymore . Next day they asks for mine again. What a shame. . 5. next day at 10.30 pm the wife knocked while we were in a deep sleep. We told her just go away. 6. They ruined our vacation & we felt very unsafe. So we left Cuba early. We didn’t tell them we’re leaving for safety reasons. 7. After we book the early flight the NEW host messaged us offer to help. TOO LATE 8. We were very close to call the police on them. 9. Nobody deserves to be treated like this

I loved the location, right on Plaza Vieja and within walking distance of top tourist attractions. Disappointed to find that wifi and water was charged for separately.

The property is well located. I had a room with two twin beds. The room was small but ok for both of us. I didn’t know it was in a second floor what made it a little more difficult to go up and down. We were charge for wifi $1.00 per hour. We thought it was included

BE WARNED - THIS IS A SCAM POSTING. We arrived for check-in after paying $238/night for this property as advertised, and we were sent to a completely different hostal up the street that typically runs $80/night. We had no cell/internet service and could not use U.S. visa/credit cards to try to find another property that night, and we did not get a refund despite the fact that the host admitted fault in overbooking the original hotel. We were sent to Conde de Ricla which had a kind staff and good breakfast but did not deliver the value we had paid for considering all the amenities that were sacrificed compared to the original hotel. Wanted to let other potential travelers know to be careful so this hotel does not defraud you as well. Safe travels!

The location could not have been better, it eas close to everywhere. Tours, bars, etc. It was really clean we loved the balcony on the room right besides plaza vieja great views a/c etc. The only thing lacking was internet connection, but these was comprehensive as it is based on a government service and it is not provided everywhere and besides you have to buy internet cards for 1 cuc on government offices or 2 cuc retails on street sellers. The attention given was extraordinary by the host could not have ask for more. We will surely like to go back.
